Storyline

In 1987, James Brennan's dreams of a summer European tour before studying at an Ivy League school in New York City are ruined after his parents have a severe career setback. As a result, James must get a summer job to cover his upcoming expenses at the decrepit local amusement park, Adventureland, where he falls in love with a witty co-worker, Emily Lewin. In that bizarrely shady workplace, the young carnies have unforgettable and painful learning experiences about life, love and trust while James discovers what he truly values.

Adventureland is a nice romantic drama centered on a college graduate who takes a job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world. At the same time Adventureland is a crude but funny comedy with a hell of a lot more seriousness and romance involved than you ever expected. Download Adventureland and have the best time ever.

Entertaining coming of age movie (from the guys who did the great \'Superbad\'). Solid acting, very nostalgic and killer soundtrack by the way.

this is another of those 'coming of age' movies, if you liked Superbad, Sex Drive, Nick & Nora. you'll love this.
Adventureland seems to be more serious than the other films in this genre, but it pulls it off.

"Adventureland" reflects the troubles young ones can have. Not similar as "Superbad" but it is pure honest, funny, and sweet.
