Jesse Aarons trained all summer to become the fastest runner in school, so he's very upset when newcomer Leslie Burke outruns him and everyone else. Despite this and other differences, including that she's rich, he's poor, and she's a city girl, he's a country boy, the two become fast friends. Together, they create Terabithia, a land of monsters, trolls, ogres, and giants and rule as king and queen. This friendship helps Jess cope with the tragedy that makes him realize what Leslie taught him.

“Bridge to Terabithia” is a 2007 fantasy drama film directed by G?bor Csup? and adapted for film by David L. Paterson and Jeff Stockwell. An 11-year-old boy has his life changed forever when he befriends the class outsider, a girl. Together they create the world of Terabithia, an imaginary kingdom filled with giants, trolls and other magical beings. The film is based on the Katherine Paterson novel of the same name, and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in the US. The film stars Josh Hutcherson, AnnaSophia Robb, Robert Patrick, Bailee Madison and Zooey Deschanel. “Bridge to Terabithia” tells the story of Jesse Aarons and Leslie Burke, twelve-year-old neighbors who create a fictional world called Terabithia and spend their free time together in an abandoned tree house. I thougt that this movie was okay...because I'm not much of a fantasy person.
Anyone who like fantasy will enjoy this movie. But everyone who wants a contemporary fiction movie will not enjoy this movie.

My mom said we watched how children play with their imagination. I'd like it, because way back i remember myself playing around tend to imagine my own world, its cute and fun. In the end its a little sad, coms it reminds me of "my girl" it has the same concept of drama.
