Storyline

"Chain of Fools" is a heist comedy-romance about a hapless barber whose life takes a turn for the worse when he ends up in possession of a stolen treasure of ancient coins (the "Shiny New Enemies") and simultaneously falls on the wrong side of the law and in love with the detective investigating the crime.

«Chain of Fools» is a 2000 crime comedy. Kresk (Steve Zahn), a hapless barber, runs afoul of the law after unwittingly accepting some stolen ancient coins. Enter Kolko (Salma Hayek), a private detective who's hot on Kresk's tail ... and then just becomes hot for his body! A string of memorable cameo appearances (from the likes of David Hyde Pierce, Lara Flynn Boyle, Jeff Goldblum and Elijah Wood) follow in this screwball crime caper lensed by Swedish director Traktor. «Chain of Fools» directed by Pontus Löwenhielm.
