Having been hopelessly repressed and facing eventual certain death at the chicken farm where they are held, Rocky the rooster and Ginger the chicken decide to rebel against the evil Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy, the farm's owners. Rocky and Ginger lead their fellow chickens in a great escape from the murderous farmers and their farm of doom.

«Chicken Run» is a 2000 animation. Greedy farm owner Mrs. Tweedy (voiced by Miranda Richardson) runs her 1950s Yorkshire poultry ranch like a prisoner-of-war camp in this claymation adventure from Aardman Animations. Ginger, the head chicken, tirelessly plots to free the birds from the farm - which will soon be converted into a chicken pot-pie plant. After several failed attempts, she asks a dashing rooster named Rocky (Mel Gibson) to help her plan the poultry liberation. «Chicken Run» directed by Peter Lord. Hurry up to download «Chicken Run»!

Kind of the same story as the Steve McQueen movie "The Great Escape". Very clever but little kids may be frightened as there are a few scary characters in this.
