In the near future the ultimate sporting event is the deathrace. Contestants get score points for running people down as they speed across the country. The sport has crazed fans who sacrifice themselves to the drivers. An overt agency is trying to bring an end to the immoral deathrace and has infiltrated one of their followers in to the race as a navigator. In the end of the race the lives of the competitors, the President and the deathrace itself are in peril.

Funny moments06 May 2011

This movie had a medium to weak plot and storyline. But it also had some good action and had a few funny moments. Keep in mind that this was made about 36 years ago and was not a film with a gianormous budget. It is worth a watch.

wasnt all that i was expecting but still a great movie for its time, especially the effects were good for its time. i like how they have the stereotypical "future cars" and old jokes. definatly made it worth a watch

This is a good classic. If you are a fan of Sly Stalone and David Carradine you will love it. This was filmed in 1975 so bear with the '70s humor and dialog. The special effects are good for the time. I liked it.
