Storyline

District 9 is a good sci-fi movie that rally is not what you expect, it is much better. The plot is devoted to an extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth that suddenly finds a kindred spirit that is exposed to their biotechnology. District 9 is a beautifully made film that shows signs of great promise for being around a subject talked about by many people. Download District 9 and feel the extra terrestrial race is visiting us.

You don\'t feel bamboozled, fooled, or patronized by District 9, as you did by most of the summer blockbusters. You feel winded, shaken, and shamed. An entertaining, technically superb if faintly unsatisfying futuristic thriller.

A truly original alien movie - less about lasers and explosions and more about greed and deception. At first I thought this was a comedy, but it gets dark and all too real rather quickly. Creative expression of film making technique. To be honest, my wife and I walked out the theater within less than 5 minutes into the show ... needless to say, my Son\'s had me watch the DVD rental with them in hopes of acceptance. Sorry Son\'s ... still indifferent.
