Storyline

Fresh-faced and innocent, Dorian Gray arrives in London to move into the house he has inherited. «Dorian Gray» is a 2009 drama. When London artist Basil Hallward (Ben Chaplin) paints a portrait of the young and beautiful Dorian Gray (Ben Barnes), the subject is so taken with his own image that he declares he'd do anything to keep his looks – even if it meant selling his soul. The plot thickens when his wish is granted, but even the painting can't mask the true nature of Dorian's inner beauty. This was a totally freaky movie. The special effects were superb. The main characters were not likable, but that was the point. A bit over board on the debauchery.

Barnes did a wonderful job with the part. Firth did as well. A great movie for Halloween.
