Storyline

Walt Kowalski is a widower who holds onto his prejudices despite the changes in his Michigan neighborhood and the world around him. Very often old people are rather difficult to live with. It is especially brightly seen if they are former military men, people whose life values once formed are changed with great efforts. Gran Torino is a criminal drama that shows us that such people are not always just grumbling and quarrelling with neighbours. Walt Kowalski is a person much of whose personal values were shaped from his time in the Korean War. We change our opinion about him when he saves one of his neighbours Thao from a potentially violent incident with a Vietnamese youth gang. Download to know the story.

Clint Eastwood\'s character has carried ghosts with him since the Korean War. Here, he finally exorcises them. A fine film, well worth watching.
