Storyline

This is the story of a little penguin named Mumble who has a terrible singing voice and later discovers he has no Heartsong. However, Mumble has an astute talent for something that none of the penguins had ever seen before: tap dancing. "Happy Feet" is a 2006 American-Australian computer-animated comedy-drama film with music, directed and co-written by George Miller. In the great nation of Emperor Penguins, deep in Antarctica, you're nobody unless you can sing--which is unfortunate for Mumble, who is the worst singer in the world. He is born dancing to his own tune--tap dancing. Though Mumble's mom, Norma Jean, thinks this little habit is cute, his dad, Memphis, says it "just ain't penguin." I loved this one - great choice for the family! It did take me a little while to get into it (I think my friends built it up too much). But there are some really funny parts and you'll definitely laugh a couple times! Who doesn't love a dancing penguin?

...not just my feet but all of me! The animation on this is amazing. I loved that these penguins really look like penguins, not just caricatures of penguins. They swim like real penguins too, which is really hard to animate. Good job!
