Storyline

His world in complete disorder after his break-up with a famous actress, Carter, a young soft-core porn writer, goes to suburban Detroit to care for his sickly Grandmother and heal his broken heart. Along the way he forms a special bond with the family that lives across from his Grandma, and changes the life of each woman. In the course of this, as is required in every film--and thus the world, he changes his own life as well.

"In the Land of Women" is a 2007 drama film directed and written by Jon Kasdan. For as long as he could remember, Carter Webb had been falling in love with women. And for as long as he could remember, he'd been searching for the right one. He found everything he was looking for in Sophia and for a little while he was happy. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. "In the Land of Women" was screened at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18, 2006. The film premiered in the United States on April 20, 2007.
