Nate pays Victor Dubenich (Saul Rubinek) a visit. Nate tells Victor he'll regret trying to kill him and his team. Victor points out he put Nate's team together and knows them better than Nate does. He recruited Latimer (Leon Rippey) because he needed help on the outside, he's been funding him by tipping him off to Nate's moves so Latimer can bet against the Leveragers victims. Victor says all anyone has is their business, their possessions and their name.
Nate says he'll have to do better.
"Better than killing your father? Wow," Victor says.Nate leaves with a threat.
Sophie's waiting outside. Nate wants to go after Latimer to get to Victor. She wonders what's left to do to a man already in prison. Nate has an idea.
At Latimer's building, Parker does recon. Hardison works on the security from inside Lucille the van. Parker is planting bugs. Latimer is prepping for a party.
One of Latimer's guys shows him surveillance of Parker and Eliot, caught by facial recognition. The door locks behind Parker and guys come for Eliot. Hardison gets locked out of the computer and takes off in the van. Eliot uses fire extinguishers to clear a path out the lobby. Parker rappels down the building and lands on the top of the van.
The team heads back to condo HQ. Nate is obsessed, sleeping on a cot downstairs to be near his notes. The whole thing started with Vert Agra and the super potato. Since then the CEO has sold land to Latimer so he could get the water rights. He wanted the patent for the water filter so he can get use it on Bellington dam.
The team points out Latimer knows all their usual moves and people they usually work with. "We find someone who is not a friend, who is not in the game, who we do not trust, that's what we do," says Nate.
Kiev, UkraineGoons hold Quinn (Clayne Crawford) at gun point. He broke Eliot's rib once. Eliot offers him a job for a week, six figures. They negotiate as they take out goons and agree.
Cut to Parker's mentor Archie Leach (Richard Chamberlain) walking down the street with his family. Parker swipes all their wallets and he stops her. He leaves with her.
Hardison goes to Chaos (Wil Wheaton), his hacking nemesis. Chaos wants his usual fee, plus expenses, and Parker has to dress up as Starbuck from "Battlestar Gallactica". He'll negotiate and consider Counselor Troi instead.
Dubenich strolls in to Latimer's office. He got him out on early release. He wants a couple of guys who don't ask questions to deal with the Leveragers.
Dubenich leads his goon squad to Leverage HQ. They bust in with guns. It's completely cleaned out and they're gone.
The Leveragers and their counterparts meet up underground. Hardison is psyched they have a bat cave.
He gives the rundown. Latimer is in the middle of a deal with Chinese investors for control of the dam network, but according to land use laws he has to maintain them in proper working order or he forfeits control.
Nate explains to the back-ups that his team can't get near Latimer, which is why they're needed. He tells them no one goes near Victor Dubenich. Sophie finds Nate putting bullets in his father's gun. She warns him she doesn't work with murderers.
Hardison and Eliot walk on Bellingham Dam in Upstate, New York, waiting for the facial recognition software to spot them. It doesn't take long. Dubenich is there and waves. He gives the guys in the control room software to block Hardison's impending hack.
Haverford Water and Control Plant, upriverQuinn and Chaos walk through the dam, so Chaos can hack into the computer. It's super old but they're all networked so he can also access Bellingham. He's interrupted by goons. Quinn fends them off while Chaos hacks. When he's done Quinn throws him off the side of the dam into the water to escape.
Hardison dumps a bag of something into an access pipe. The dam workers find it and order a shut down. Dubenich thinks it's just ice.
At Latimer HQ, a dam worker shows Latimer and Dubenich that Hardison dumped an invasive type of mussel into the dam. They'll breed until they clog all the cooling pipes and the dam will explode. They can't flush it downstream because it'll flow into Latimer's other facilities and the EPA will fine them for intentionally releasing an invasive species.The dam is shut down and it will take a year to decontaminate.
At the Leverage cave, Archie rejects all of Hardison's high tech gadgets for his thieving mission. His list includes cake fixings. He reminds Hardison that no one cuts the cake until they're told to cut the cake.
Archie wheels a giant cake into Latimer's party. Parker pops out of it in the elevator and Archie strolls through the party.In the van, Chaos shows off to Hardison by hacking into Latimer's system.
At the party, Latimer is angry at Dubenich as he prepares to try to smooth things over with his Chinese investors. Latimer tells him that no one messes with his business. Dubenich gets the idea to protect Latimer's safe and business documents and rushes off.
Nate sidles up to Latimer at the party. The facial recognition software takes a while to kick in. He suggests they talk.
Dubenich assesses the items in Latimer's vault and deems them unworthy of theft by Nate. The most expensive thing at the party is the emperor's sword that Archie has been lingering by out in the middle of the party. Dubenich races back to the gathering.
Parker drops out of the ceiling with video footage of a guard punching in the access code to the vault.Flash back to Archie planting the mini camera on the guard's badge at the party.Nate suggests Latimer stop protecting Dubenich, but he declines.
Dubenich rushes out to protect the sword. The power goes out momentarily but the sword is still there when it comes back on. He makes a scene, grabbing it from its display and rushes it to the vault. Once it's safely inside, the small item Archie planted on it beeps. There's an explosion from inside the vault.
Archie wheels his hide-a-cake outside to the van and presents Hardison and Chaos with the sword.
Flash back to Archie using his taser-tipped cane in an electrical socket to blow the lights. He slips the sword out of its case and into the cake and replaces the handle with a fake one he brought with a tiny bomb on it.
Dubenich and Latimer assess the damage to the vault. Dubenich realizes Nate went after Latimer's business and possessions. His name will be next. He knows Nate's plan. Latimer asks how."I gave it to him," Dubenich realizes.
Nate takes a few practice shots. Eliot warns him it'll change him.
Dubenich tells Latimer that Nate is going after his name next. Latimer thinks it's already begun. His stock is down 10 percent and he has a congressional summons to answer for not being able to protect his waterways. He's flying off to DC.
Latimer has a drink at the airport bar. Sophie joins him and toasts him. Dubenich steps in and takes the glasses. He has goons escort her out. They run into Quinn and Eliot, who take them all out. Eliot gets Dubenich down on the ground and aims a gun at him. He tells Sophie he's thinking of saving his friend the trouble. But he decides against shooting Dubenich for Nate.
Back at the bar, Nate's ex-wife Maggie (Kari Matchett) joins Latimer at the bar. He's watching TV footage about his scandal. She suggests a drink.
Later, Sophie brings Maggie around to see Nate. He didn't know Sophie called her. Apparently they're friends now. Maggie was happy to help. She's excited to see what happens next with Latimer.
He wakes up in a sleazy hotel with an open bottle of booze by him.Dubenich calls him and points out he's late for the hearing and is now in contempt of Congress. It's all over the news that he's missing and his stock is plummeting.
Latimer tries to figure out where he is. He opens the window and checks his plane ticket. He's in the Cayman Islands. He goes to pack and finds his suitcase full of his bonds, valuables and money that was in the safe.
Flash back to Parker loading up all the stuff from the vault before it exploded.He finds different passports in his bag and the sword.
Dubenich tells Latimer he's done. He sees a news report saying the SEC is investigating Latimer's trades on Nate's deals. The footage shows Nate and Sophie passing out the information on Wall street.
Dubenich tries to transfer Latimer's money into his account, but it's gone.
In the Leverage cave, Chaos finishes up transferring Latimer's money into their account.Archie tells Parker he approves of Hardison. Hardison and Chaos make a grudging peace.
Dubenich goes through Latimer's computer files, looking for something worth stealing. He finds the patent.
Dubenich goes to the Haverford water plant. Nate heads out to deal with him alone, refusing the help of the team.
Dubenich leads a team of goons through the plant, following the map to what he thinks is the research area. Nate meets them. The goons fire on him and Nate runs off. The goons scatter and the Leveragers, who followed Nate anyway, take them out one by one in the water plant.Eliot runs into the one who locked Nate's dad in the warehouse.
Nate runs off and gets Dubenich to follow. Dubenich shoots at him and nearly hits Nate. Nate keeps running and ends up on a ledge over the dam with nowhere to run. Dubenich approaches him with the gun on him.
Nate asks how everything is working out for him. He points out that Dubenich gets so angry, he overlooks details. Dubenich fires but his gun is empty. Nate counted the shots, Dubenich didn't.
Nate takes out his father's gun and the tables are turned. Nate marches him to the edge. Nate announces he has a surprise for him. He brings out Latimer. They both start trying to convince Nate to blame the other person.
Dubenich says if Nate kills him, Latimer will just start over. He says Latimer sent his father into the warehouse.But Nate points out if he kills Latimer, Dubenich will find his jewels and go free.
The problem Nate is having with all of this is that if he kills one of them, the other will go free. But he has five bullets.Nate pauses and turns around to see his team watching over him.
Nate walks to the edge between them and puts the gun down. He walks away.
Dubenich and Latimer both run for it and start fighting over it. They fall to their knees and keep grappling. Both tip over the edge.
Later, Nate tells Sophie that he's not his father and if he was he'd always be looking for the next score instead of appreciating what he has. He wants to make some changes. He has plans. He kisses her.
Hardison interrupts to ask if they can keep the cave. They squabble like kids. Nate and Sophie take the kids home.

Hordes of SWAT teams pull up outside a building, complete with helicopter and heavy duty automatic weapons.Nate surveys the scene from inside the building.
Latimer Diversified12 Hours Earlier
Nate goes to meet with Jack Latimer (Leon Rippy), who tells him when he couldn't get Nate to do his job he went on to the next man on the list. The man got in fine Friday to get the item, but he hasn't heard from him. Nate tells Latimer that the man is sitting on the item for a higher price. Latimer says he knows the man hasn't left the building and will have him arrested on Monday. Nate says it's not his problem.
Back at the loft, Sophie reads Nate the riot attack for standing her up. He has a bag packed and leaves on personal business.Hardison briefs the team on what he's dug up about Nate's secret trip, to a patent office. They think it's a heist. The building is highly secure. They have to get to the central computer room and play a surveillance loop. They head for Virginia.
Cut to Hardison and Eliot confronting Nate, explaining that they have his back and if the heist is tied to Latimer it affects them all. Nate plans to pull the fire alarm and go in as his arson investigator persona.
Up on the roof, Parker, Hardison and Eliot come in the fire door. They harness Hardison and drop him down the open stairwell to get to the computer room.
He hooks into the system and finds it has a two hour buffer, so that's all the time they have.
Nate and Eliot find the Patent Application Archive room open, Nate insists on going in alone. In the maze of desks he finds his dad (Tom Skeritt). The last time he saw his dad, he was sending him to Ireland with a price on his head.
Nate tells his dad Latimer is just using him to get to Nate and his team. His dad is getting paid $2 million to carry a patent application out of the building. He brought a gun.His dad only knows the name and address of the inventor who sent it in 20 years ago. There are 422,722 applications to dig through.
Eliot does a sweep of the building and runs into three goons in the basement. He quickly takes them out, immobilizing one with duct tape. Then he runs into a fourth who gives him some trouble, but he deals with him quickly.
Sophie walks through the warehouse of invention prototypes, including a home made meat smoker and sympathy pregnancy belly for men.
Eliot searches the four guys he knocked out and strung up with duct tape. They're orders were to follow Nate's dad and take whatever he came out with. Eliot points out that Latimer hiring local felons instead of using his own guys doesn't make any sense.
Nelson M. Bartholomew, the Chief Patent Archivist, is responsible for scanning old applications. Hardison calls him at home and tells him an application was flagged as top secret and they're trying to find it. He gets the organizational system.Parker goes to the files.
Just then, the SWAT teams begin arriving. The goons must have set off the motion sensors when they came in. They cover every exit.
Nate wants a clean phone and his dad's gun.Moments later, Eliot hurls a package out with the phone in it. FBI Special Agent Dennis Powell answers. Nate pretends to be an anti-government nut and says he has hostages. Eliot fires a few shots into the air to make the point. Nate demands the SWAT clear out and wants $10 million in the Caymans and a fully fueled helicopter from the building.The FBI asks for a hostage in return.
Hardison makes Sophie a Patent Office ID using a tortilla warmer, she straps on the fake pregnancy belly to really sell it.
She comes out and tells the FBI that a man bust in with a gun on Friday and there are a few other hostages. He kept repeating numbers.
She reports the cops' positions from outside and Nate plans to draw them away from one exit. Hardison scans the prototypes for things they can use.
Nate lays into his dad for coming back from Ireland and going for one last score, he says Latimer was never going to pay him. They start yelling at each other and Jimmy finally says he did the job because Latimer threatened to kill Nate if he didn't.
One of the goons wakes up in the basement and tries to free himself.
Sophie hears the FBI talking about "acceptable losses" and worries they're going in. Nate wants a turf war to slow things down. She tells the FBI the man inside was talking about jihad and he has to call in Homeland Security.
Eliot checks the monitors and finds the goons didn't set off the sensors, so who called the cops?Eliot suggests Jimmy was just bait to get Nate and the team there. Someone above Latimer is messing with them.
Sophie senses Homeland Security isn't buying her story. Nate tells Sophie to get out of there any way she can. She dumps water out and pretends hers just broke and is whisked away in the ambulance.
Inside, Hardison uses found objects to set up an elaborate, something, complete with radio controlled butler figurine.
Nate tells everyone to get ready. Sophie hops out of the ambulance.
Eliot calls the FBI agent from inside and pulls a "Die Hard" pretending to be a fellow cop and warning the FBI not to bust in. The Homeland Security woman is having none of it. "In Homeland Security, we aren't paid to think, we're paid to act," she says, preparing her guys to go in.
Hardison and Parker set off their contraption, super heating LED Christmas lights that explode when they get too hot. They go off like bullet shots.
Eliot walks across the glass-walled sky bridge and runs into the goons. He makes sure he's clearly visible from below and lets the goons wallop on him for awhile. Homeland and the FBI see it.
After the SWAT breach is called off, Eliot gets the goons off the visible sky bridge and then swiftly takes each out. He radios the FBI guy to let him know he's still there, then acknowledges the "Die Hard" homage with "Yippiekiyamother--"(CUT TO) "Found it!" Jimmy shouts, going through papers.
The patent application was for a dam water filter.Nate plans to use the skybridge to get to the building next door and escape. Sophie picks up their van Lucille and goes to meet them.
Eliot found a cell phone on one of the goons and sees a call from Rockford, Ill.Eliot radios the FBI to say the goons are heading for the west entrance. The FBI charges in and Nate and the team sneak out the other way.
The FBI guys are greeted by the remote control butler and blast it to smitherines.
Nate and the team walk out of the building and into a crowd of people looking toward the sky. A man says someone called a radio station and said he was going to throw $1 million from the roof of the building.
Nate realizes his dad is missing and he has the patent.Flash back to Jimmy calling the radio station.
Nate remembers Eliot suggesting someone above Latimer is messing with them and the goons had a call from Illinois. He needs to find his dad quickly. He knows whose behind everything.
Inside, the FBI man finds the goons taped up and waiting for him.
Nate gets a call from his dad and tries to warn him, but Jimmy won't listen. Hardison tracks the signal.
Jimmy takes the patent to a warehouse and walks in to find a man in a suit waiting for him. He asks for his money and the man tosses a bag.
The team races to the warehouse and Hardison narrows Jimmy's location to one of three warehouses. Nate asks him to look up ownership for all of them.
Jimmy double checks that Nate will be safe. He hands over the patent and it immediately knocked out from behind.
The man calls someone to report "he" didn't show.
Nate recognizes the name of a shell company on the warehouse ownership. He calls his dad, who wakes up groggy in the warehouse surrounded by oil drums marked flammable. Nate tries to convince his dad it's a set up but Jimmy's not listening until he sees a detonator. He tells Nate to be sure to tell stories about him and tell everyone Jimmy Ford loved his son.
Nate pulls up to the building in time to get out and stand there as the giant explosion goes off and blows him off his feet.Eliot and Hardison race to him. Nate is bloodied and dazed, but alive. He realizes his father was just blown up in front of him.
Cut to Renton Federal Pentitentiary, Rockford, IllinoisIt's Victor Dubenich (Saul Subinek), the man the team took down in their very first job.

A guy drives down the street and nearly runs over a guy in a tux (the thief from last week's episode). He checks his GPS for McRory's pub.At the condo, it's the same scene from last week where the guys are setting up for poker. Nate gets a message from Detective Bonnano.Parker heads out for her evening with Peggy and Sophie's off to meet Tara. The guys are left alone.At the poker table, Hardison is called away by Parker. Eliot's friend Shelly is joining them, a fellow special forces guy. Bonnano is there.Nate goes downstairs to the bar to get a bottle of Scotch and is accosted by the driver, Hurley, a reformed drunk who they tried to take down for embezzling in the Rehab Job. He had turned out to be a nice guy who took a school's money to try to double it for them. They had to fake his death and Nate sent him to Mexico. Even though Nate explains he was trying to bust him, Hurley is grateful.As they walk down the street, Hurley tells Nate about setting up a fund for a nun at an orphanage, delivering statues of Virgin Marys at warehouses all over the country. Two shady guys eye them and follow.Hurley takes out a statue and it looks just like the statues from "Lost" that had heroin inside. Nate gets this, notices the two guys, and suggests they run right before the men start shooting.Upstairs at the poker table, Eliot hears the shots and goes to investigate.Nate and Hurley take refuge in a church. Eliot and Hardison follow the sound of the shots. Eliot is concerned they can't find Nate. He doesn't have his cell phone or ear bud on him.Nate tries to explain to Hurley that the gunmen are after him. They hide in the basement, which just happens to also be the site of an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.Nate tries to convince Hurley that he's acting as a drug mule for Sister Lupe. He takes some convincing.The goons outside are worried that their boss Callahan is going to get them if they don't find Hurley. They argue over whether the basement of a church counts as holy ground and if they should go in to shoot Hurley.Hardison and Eliot head to a hotel, following up on a room key they found on the street. They open a hotel room but immediately have to duck from gunshots. The two guys inside run out, dropping their gun. Eliot chases, but runs into a third guy, who he promptly knocks out. Eliot knows the first two guys were Mexican and the second guys are Venezuelan.At the AA meeting, Nate listens to Hurley talk and tries to get people in the audience to lend him their phones. They all say no.Finally, Nate asks if he can speak. He says he needs to make amends, like by calling his ex-wife, and he'd do it right now if he had a cell phone. That finally gets people to offer up their phones.In the hotel room, Eliot looks at the clothes left behind, all made in Mexico. Hardison finds a valet ticket for a car in the lot.Nate calls Hardison, like he's talking to his ex-wife. He's in front of an AA group and has to make it sound good. He says he's with Hurley. Eliot tells him about the Mexican hitters they ran into and Nate makes a reference to an Irish church, so they learn Irish hitters are after Nate.He apologizes for the car and Hardison guesses there's something in Hurley's car. Nate apologizes for the bag of drugs and the AA audience gasps. He tells "her" he loves her and hangs up to applause from the group.Eliot and Hardison find a valet knocked out in the garage. A car is speeding toward them. Eliot grabs an umbrella and throws it through the window, but the car gets away. They catch up to it but the driver is gone and so are the drugs.Nate tells Hurley it's time to leave the church. The Irish hitters wait outside.Hurley is almost out the door when a woman in a habit calls for him. It's Sister Lupe. She pulls out a gun and aims it at him.Nate grabs the gun and punches her out. Nate calls Hardison again. Hurley was making a delivery and Nate guesses Callahan's guys were planning to take him out. Nate wants the drugs to make a deal with them, but he needs t know where the Mexican drug houses are.Hardison calls Bonnano.Back in church, Nate realizes the nun's gun is fake. Lupe tells Hurley he's helping people by transporting cancer drugs. She says children would die if they didn't do it. Nate's skeptical. She says the cartel found out about their route and planted drugs in his car, she flew up to warn him.Callahan and more goons arrive, wanting to know why the first set of goons don't have Hurley yet.Eliot and Hardison track down the Mexican cartel addresses and Eliot tries to reassure Hardison that Parker isn't into the other thief. Eliot suggests Hardison is "slow playing" things with Parker a little too much.Hardison strolls into a Mexican cartel bar and announces he's on to them and is a dirty cop.Irish goons #1 and #2 go into the church looking for Hurley but run into the priest, or Nate dressed up as one.Back in the cartel bar, Eliot tries to help Hardison with the cartel, but he barrels ahead. Hardison thinks he's doing well as Eliot silently takes out guys behind him.Nate distracts the goons so Lupe and Hurley can sneak out.Eliot knocks out half a dozen guys as Hardison vamps with the head cartel guy when Parker calls.Hardison asks the cartel guy for the drugs they got today as a sign of good faith for future business dealings. They turn over the bag, but the guy wants the courier. Hardison promises them Hurley.They walk away from the bar and Hardison drops one of the Virgin Mary statues, but something doesn't look right.Hurley and Lupe make a noise sneaking out of the church and the goons see them and chase after them. One of the goons shoots Hurley in the leg. Lupe disarms the other one and Nate drives up and Hurley hops in, leaving Lupe with the Irish goons.Nate calls Hardison and gets the news about whatever's in the statue. He tells Eliot to get whatever he needs to sew up a gunshot wound.Nate and Hurley meet up with Hardison and Eliot. Hardison picked up a drug testing and tests what they found in the statue, not street drugs, but the cancer drugs Lupe was talking about.Flash back to the head cartel guy learning about them from his guys, who aren't sure whether the drugs were "in" the car or "inside" the car. Nate realizes the street drugs must still be in Hurley's car.Back at the garage, Hurley's car is gone. Hardison finds out it was towed to the city impound after the cartel crashed it. Nate plans to give the drugs to the Irish, because right now the Irish are the only ones who don't know they don't have them.Nate calls Callahan to offer a deal. Callahan offers Lupe for the drugs and Hurley. Hurley urges Nate to use him in the swap so he can prove he was worthy of his second chance. Nate tells Callahan to come to the garage in one hour. Nate calls the Mexican cartel to get them to come to the parking garage for the drugs they don't have.At the impound lot, the officer at the gate tells them they have to come back in the morning. Eliot and Hardison argue over who's going to hop the fence and go after the car. Eliot distracts the young female officer while Hardison goes in. She mentions the dogs out back and on the video monitor we see Hardison getting chased through the lot.Nate calls Eliot, requesting an identical gold sedan.The Irish goons pull up into the garage with Lupe at gunpoint. Nate walks toward them with the bag of drugs but behind him Hurley panics. Nate tries to tell him to stick to the plan, but Hurley jumps in his car and drives off. Nate grabs Lupe and takes cover.The Irish race after Hurley as he drives up the parking garage. He come upon Callahan's car and Callahan fires on him.Callahn holds a gun on a gold sedan and the Mexican cartel gets out, with the Irish behind them. Bonnano and carloads of cops pull up, disarming them all. Eliot's friend Shelly shows up and helps nab the Irish goons escaping.Bonnano finds drugs in the car and tells Callahan he just busted him in the middle of a drug deal with the Mexican cartel. Callahan has no idea what he's talking about.Flash back to Nate requesting a second gold sedan from Eliot, then Eliot and Hardison meeting with the cartel in the garage. Eliot pulls Hurley out of the trunk and Hardison takes a few of the drugs as a sign of good faith. The cartel gets into Hurley's original gold sedan with the drugs and drives off.Hurley "panics" and drives off in the other sedan, but pulls into a spot around the corner and ducks down as the Irish goons chasing him keep going and end up following the cartel car, which then runs into Callahan.Back at McRory's, Eliot has made friends with Lupe (she's sitting in his lap) and Hurley thanks Nate for bailing him out again. Hurley gets up to leave and runs into Parker's friend Peggy on the way out. He walks her to her car.Nate thanks Hardison for telling Hurley how to find him. Hardison says he did it as a reminder that they help people.Eliot and Lupe go into the next room and join Parker and Sophie as Nate settles in with his Scotch.

Good Cheer Greeting Card Company, Montvale, Mass. Hal goes to see HR. He's very calm until the woman Felicia gets choked up and he realizes he's being fired. He's sure Barley is embezzling. He noticed some accounting irregularities, brought them to Bartley and a week later he was fired. He thinks the company will go out of business before the company can get bought out by Heartfelt Cards, which would save them.Hardison briefs the team. Good Cheer was already going out of business before Bartley started embezzling. Montvale's entire economy depends on the company. Fred Bartley inherited the company from his grandfather. He's a washed up jock.The books show Bartley buying equipment that never shows up, they figure he's pocketing the difference. They want to expose Bartley before the buyout so Heartfelt can take credit for cleaning house.The team heads to Good Cheer, posing as efficiency experts. They're not the only ones visiting. "Noted Documentary filmmaker Gunter" (Peter Stomare) is transfixed by the water cooler. He's doing a documentary about America's small businesses. He thinks a company that sells joy struggling to survive is a great metaphor for America. He's a little kooky.Sophie wants to delay until the cameras are gone. When Nate disagrees, she takes out a red notebook and scribbles furiously. Nate thinks there's only one thing to do. He sits down in front of the camera. And now it's an episode of "The Office."The style switches to faux documentary, including Fred as a bumbling boss. Sophie is posing as an "emotioneer". She tells the employees to stick their fingers in their coworker's ear to break down barriers.Felicia thinks efficiency mean more employees are getting fired.Nate takes Fred in to see Sophie, who passes out blindfolds and tells everyone to get down on all fours and hop like monkeys.With everyone distracted, Hardison and Eliot check out Bartley's office.Sophie talks to the camera, telling us she's started keeping a record of every time Nate disrespects her contribution.Hardison and Eliot are beefing about something. Hardison takes a chocolate bar out of the fridge and Eliot yells at him. Eliot tells us that Hardison ate a sandwich he left in the fridge. Hardison denies it.Parker scribbles all over the cards, saying they're too cheery. She catches the attention of Gunter and the documentary crew. She gets angry and threatens to break the camera. Gunter finds her fascinating.Nate and the team meet and try to report in code. Hardison and Eliot didn't find anything. Then Nate looks at the inventory and says Fred is printing "fake cards" with "important people's faces" on them. He's counterfeiting.The team meets alone, but the crew listens in. Nate thinks he's counterfeiting the Euro based on the ink he's using. They want to find the paper.Nate is getting some coffee when Felicia joins him and asks if he wants to talk about his relationship with Sophie.Sophie tells the camera that Felicia explained a concept called reverse favoritism, which is common in workplace relationships. She thought it was a great idea for Felicia to talk to Nate. Eliot and Hardison keep bickering about the sandwich as they go look for for the special printer. They run into the warehouse crew. Eliot thinks they're guarding something.Nate asks them what "sandwich" is code for. Someone mentions the copier is broken and Hardison thinks to check in it. They find the money printer. Sophie reports back from using her best mind tricks on Fred. She's sure he's not part of the scam.They have to look for whoever last messed with the copier. Enter the documentary crew.Nate and Sophie watch the footage with Gunter. They each give him questions to ask the other to tweak them, getting under their skin. Nate says Sophie's acting career fizzled. Nate insists he's a functioning alcoholic and loves foreplay.They find the warehouse crew fiddling with the copier. Hardison fixes Eliot up with a tie camera. Gunter is impressed. He asks if Hardison has more.Cut to Gunter sidling up to Parker, belt buckle first. She catches on to his general weirdness and rips his belt off.Eliot confronts the warehouse workers/counterfeiters and tackling them. One guy insists he did nothing and Bartley told him to change the ink.Nate thinks someone is setting up Bartley. Hardison says the money is remote printing and he traced it. Cut to Felicia from HR.Hardison says there's another document set to print in two hours, in the middle of the Heartfelt meeting. It's a suicide note from Bartley.The Heartfelt people show up. Eliot can't find Bartley. The employees panic and Nate talks them down.Sophie tells Gunter that for all his faults, Nate gets the job done, but everything else comes second. Nate and Sophie go stall the Heartfelt employees while Eliot and Hardison look for Fred. The camera guy keeps pointing to the pack of cigarettes on Bartley's desk. Gunter mentions that Bartley told him he quit two months ago. They think he's sneaking a smoke up on the roof.Up on the roof, Bartley gets manhandled by goons. Eliot confronts them. Gunter joins in when they go for the camera.Hardison gets tossed over the side of the building, but holds on until Hardison comes to get him.The Good Cheer team leads their presentation for the Heartfelt people. They don't seem impressed so Sophie suggests Parker. She does a presentation on her card line, Eskimo Kisses, including a Thank You card of a body with a toe tag. Everyone is horrified, except Gunter, who finds it exquisite.Eliot tells Fred to get downstairs to save his company. He runs in at the last minute. Felicia sends a message on her phone. Someone hears the copier print and goes to check it out. She comes into the meeting and announces the copier is printing money. Felicia stands up and accuses Bartley. She points out the weird ink is in his name. And he had her fire Hal. He says she told him that Hal tried to grope her, but she keeps accusing.The Heartfelt woman says they withdraw their offer. Nate stands up and says it's not true and Felicia is guilty. She denies it, but he has video of her sending the print command from her phone -- thanks to a tiny camera.Flash back to Parker planting the camera on Felicia's lapel.Felicia makes a run for it, but Eliot kicks over the water cool to trip her. Fred is profoundly confused. Sophie explains, but he still doesn't get it. So Nate uses a sports analogy. Fred makes a football reference that catches the ear of one of the Heartfelt people and he's won over. Nate prompts Fred to introduce his new card line.Cut to Fred showing us a football card that says "When it's crunch time, you can always call my number, Dad." Fred says it's how real men emote.Later, Gunter has a screening for the Leveragers. They love it. But he explains it's supposed to show the futility of life. Parker says she didn't get it. Gunter takes out the disc and snaps it into pieces. Gunter leaves. Nate checks that Hardison erased all his footage.The Leveragers head for dinner. Sophie tries to talk to Nate about what she said about him. He hands her a card. It seems to say the right thing. He pours her a drink. They both look in the general direction of the camera, documentary style.Back to an interview with Gunter, Hardison admits he ate the sandwich. It was so good, if Eliot wouldn't beat him up for it, he'd go thank him.

We see who's driving the Ferrari: Nate.Three days earlier In the pub with Sophie. They reminisce about Venice and a great dress she wore there. They're about to leave when a serious-looking man in a suit blocks the door. He has a gun -- and a friend. Nate pours shots. His visitor is Sterling, his old nemesis with Interpol.Over a game of chess, Sterling tells him Kazakhstan is developing the infrastructure to develop uranium, but Interpol doesn't believe it's just for power, so they sent a virus to knock their centrifuges off line.Sterling hands him the file on Robert Livingston, an ex-pat nuclear physicist who designed the Kazakh centrifuges. They've learned the Kazakh agents are visiting Livingston next week to get a piece of technology to get the centrifuges running again. Sterling wants Nate and his team to steal it first.Interpol doesn't have time to build a case and arrest Livingston. Nate wants to know who his informant is in Livingston's outfit, but Sterling won't say. In exchange, Sterling will owe him a favor.As they finish their chess game only two kings remain.In the loft, Hardison explains the technology they need is a tiny weight to keep the centrifuge spinning on kilter. It's precisely calibrated to the centrifuge, so there's only one.Nate's not sure they can trust Sterling, but he also doesn't want to let a country get a nuclear weapon. Livingston keeps the weight in his place in his Skyspire in Dubai, the second-tallest building in the world. Sophie asks how they'll get in. Nate hands Sophie a chess piece.In Dubai, there's a giant chess tournament. Hardison is impressed by all the assembled chess masters. They see Livingston's step-daughter Olivia, whom he is grooming as a chess prodigy. She's under heavy security after a previous business deal led to a car bombing that killed her mother.Nate says as long as Olivia stays in the tournament, Livingston's attention will be on her, so they plan to fix it so she is.Sterling is there and points out they have a problem: the Kazahks are there early.Eliot intercepts them and usurps Sterling's role, claiming to be the vp of operations for security. He tells them they don't feel the site is secure and relocate them.Hardison is posing as the son of a Saudi oil minister with a business proposal. He tells Livingston he recently acquired art but doesn't think it's well enough protected in the hotel. Livingston shows him his vault elevator-accessible vault. It has invisible, unhackable security.Eliot and Sterling tell the Kazahks they think Livingston has a mole, so they're switching to dead drops and shouldn't use their phones to communicate -- thereby cutting the Kazahks off from their own people and Livingston.Hardison explains just how unhackable the vault is, but suggests they can introduce a gas to the chamber and it'll trick the system. They watch the footage Hardison got from his tour with Livingston, but don't see any keypads or security devices.Nate realizes Livingston is the first one into the vault each time. The floor has a weight gait sensor, it measures how he walks on it. Nate tells Hardison to hack into the system and reset it before tomorrow.At the chess tournament, Hardison rigs it so Olivia plays the easier players to advance, but that means Nate gets the hard ones. He's supposed to meet her in the final.Parker poses as a photographer and gets Livingston to stand on a sensor that measures his body mass so she can mimic him to get into the vault.Nate tells Eliot and Sterling to stay with the Kazahkstani and make sure they don't come back to the tournament.Livingston kicks things off. They have five minutes per game. Nate sits down with his first opponent, and realizes winning will be harder than he thought. His opponent keeps napping between moves. Sophie distracts him with her phone number.Livingston's assistant tells him the Kazahkstani have arrived.In the car, Sterling brings coffee. Eliot complains that it tastes terrible. They see a Kazahk take a call. Sterling reads lips. He says they're planning to make the exchange today, bringing the money in through the tunnel.In the hotel room, Hardison pours weights in Parker's boots so she'll weigh the same as Livingston. He also got her Dance Dance Revolution so she can practice his walk.Sophie flashes her mirror in the eyes of Nate's next opponent, irritating him. He tells a tournament organizer about it and loses his cool. Nate wins by default when he's kicked out.Parker takes a break with her heavy boots. She's frustrated by being weighed down, saying she travels quick and light. Hardison assures her she doesn't have to travel light anymore because she's not alone, she has a team -- and him. Next, he has her try slow dancing with him to practice the rhythm, giving them a moment.Nate takes care of his third opponent, making it to the final to meet Olivia.Sterling takes Eliot down the service tunnel. Eliot gets suspicious and takes a limp swing at Sterling, but falls on his face, passed out. Sterling confesses he put something in his coffee.Parker hobbles to the vault elevator in her heavy boots. Hardison notices Eliot's comm is offline and no one has heard from Sterling either.It's time for Nate's match against Olivia, and for Parker to break into the vault. She makes it into the elevator.Eliot wakes up in the service corridor to see his comm has been smashed.Sterling finds Nate's second opponent and tell him he has info for him.Hardison hums over the comm for Parker to encourage her on in the vault. More warm fuzzies.Nate continues his game against Olivia. She mentions her real dad, and that he's the one who taught her how to win. Nate notices her tapping her chess piece.Eliot tries to break out of the room where he ended up.Hardison gets weird readings from Parker in the vault and one of her boots spills out the ball bearings that were weighting her down. He tells her to hold still.Nate's second opponent points Sophie out to security and busts her for flashing the mirror in his eyes. They take her away as she protests loudly. Nate sees the Kazahks come in. Hardison struggles to come up with a plan.Nate offers his queen up to Olivia and Livingston thinks it's a trap -- a guy who beat two grand masters wouldn't give up his queen so easily. Olivia sees the offering and debates what to do next.In the vault, Parker has gone back to more familiar footing- hanging in a harness from the ceiling.Olivia takes Nate's queen. Sterling pushes the button for the vault elevator. Parker notices the doors to the elevator, and her escape route, just closed, but she continues on trying to get the weight out.Nate continues his game at a furious pace, but finally folds to Olivia. In the elevator, Sterling deliberately sets off the alarms.Alarms blare and all the tournament goers clear out.Olivia's security whisks her away. Nate yells at Livingston and punches him for a distraction, drawing the attention of the Kazahks, who all pull guns on him. Eliot appears and takes them on.Hardison tells Parker the elevator is on its way, but it'll only go to the top, per security protocol. Parker pries open the elevator shaft doors and looks down the gaping shaft. She jumps down to the top of the elevator and rides it up.Out front, Sterling hops in a black SUV. Nate steals a red Ferrari from the valet and heads after him, explaining to the team that Sterling is escaping with the real target.Hardison finds Eliot and they clear a path of Kazahks to free Sophie.Nate tears down the street after Sterling, finally pulling in front of him and stopping. Sterling screeches a halt and gets out.Parker ends up on the roof of the building with no way down. Hardison tells her there's another way and tells her to check her pack. He packed her a parachute. Then she worries she'll get tossed around by the windshear from that high up, but he reminds her of her weighed boots. Cut to Parker leaping off the side of the super high building. She meets the team on the ground in a van, jazzed from her jump.Sterling tries to claim that Olivia is only an informant, but Nate says he knew she was Sterling's daughter from before the first match.Flash back through the clues: they both tap their chess pieces between moves, Sterling making a point of emphasizing Olivia is Livingston's step-daughter. When security escorted her away, Livingston called them off to lock down the weight instead. They put her in a closet and Sterling found her.Nate wants to know why Sterling never told Nate about his wife and daughter before, when they were friends. He says because it was his fault they left. Olivia gets out of the car and tells Nate her dad didn't have a choice, that she was in danger and he had to come for her.Sterling says he came to Nate because he's the best thief he's ever seen and he couldn't risk anything less.In response, Nate gives Sterling a name and tells him he wants everything there is to know about him. Sterling checks that this will make them even. Nate walks away.The Kazahks trade Livingston a suitcase full of cash for the weight.Back at the pub, Eliot is bitter that Sterling took advantage of them, but Nate tells them to take the win. They think the Kazahks got what they wanted.He shows them news footage about an explosion at a nuclear plant, caused by an improperly calibrated centrifuge.Flash back to Nate putting salt into the gas that Parker sprayed on the weight -- it's so sensitive that one grain of sand is enough to ruin it. The salt did it in.Sterling wanted a distraction and a team that would also stop the nuclear plant. The salt was plan M. Hardison recognizes that as one of the ones he usually dies in. Nate admits he's right and says he dies in C,F and M through Q. Nobody dies in any of the other plans, but there is one where Eliot comes out with a cool scar. The team ends the night talking shop and careful planning.

They've all got gripes about how rotten it was.Nate is about to shush them when he notices a nervous woman with a cooler approach a pay phone. He walks over to her and, without making it obvious, asks her if she was forced to exchange something against her will.Someone else dropped off a cooler and she exchanged it, but Nate can tell she's no pro. He says he's there to help.She starts crying and tells Nate the men said if she didn't hand over the cooler, they'd hurt her daughter. He asks what was in the cooler: A human heart.She meets with the whole team. She's the transplant nurse, bringing it from Detroit for a 15 year old boy named Joshua who lives in Cincy. Whoever put her up to it kidnapped her daughter to make her go along. They debate calling the cops, but with the heart remaining viable for only two more hours max they know there's no time to shut down the hospital."This is up to us, we have to rescue Linda's daughter, we have to get that heart, we have to bring it to the hospital -- on our own, under the radar. And we have 108 minutes to do it or a boy dies," Nate recaps.Back in the airport, Eliot suggests they find Linda's daughter first because they're not likely to leave loose ends. Linda has only a photo of her daughter from the kidnappers. They're assuming the heart's still in the airport waiting for another plane -- otherwise they've already lost.Hardison examines the cell phone photo. It looks like a restaurant booth. Nate recognizes the menu. It's the Crab-o-Rama restaurant in the airport.We pan over and see Linda's daughter with man in a booth.Eliot double-checks that the man is in there and Sophie does a quick change and goes in as a distraction. She pays off the waiter to let them use the restaurant as a base while Eliot grabs the kidnapper and Parker gets the girl.Eliot finds two first class plane tickets and a working plastic gun on the man, but no other useful info. They're back at square one with 93 minutes to go.Nate wants Hardison to hack into airport security, but Hardison reminds him his laptop went into the ocean. Their earbuds are fried, too. Parker's lock picks are checked. Nate thinks back to watching helplessly as his own young son died.He sends Parker and Eliot to steal what they can. Sophie checks that he might be too close to this job, but Nate points out that doesn't matter.Eliot scopes out walkie talkies then lifts the wallet of a snotty flier to buy them.Parker steals sunglasses from a kiosk then uses the bow to break into a food cart for its computer.Back in the restaurant, Nate suggest they need to hack the national transplant registry to find out who needs the heart. Hardison needs an email to get started.Sophie calls the registry pretending to be the receiving hospital and asks them to resend the paperwork. Hardison gets to work hacking with his dial-up connection and old computer.They get 3,000 names and narrow them by blood type and location and get Dean Chesney, the CEO of a defense contractor. Nate has had his eye on him for a while, but he was never a high priority target because he was dying.Lying in his sick bed, a nurse tells him the men have the heart and are on the way to Chicago.The team figures he'd be using a private plane and they need access to flight plans. Hardison explains the tower isn't networked, so Nate says they have to hack from within. There are 67 minutes left.Hardison explains they have to get out of the public areas of the terminal, without being seen. They need badges for the three different levels.Sophie walks through the concourse and trips, pretending to twist her ankle. A Skycap picks her up and they lift his badge.Next they need a ground crew badge -- Parker picks a lock to get one. For level three, they need people with tower access, which is only people who work there.Eliot goes into the tower waiting area dressed as a pilot and lifts a flight attendant's badge. He uses his walkie talkie to report back, but it doesn't work.Then Hardison hears someone paging for "Kirk Picard" to meet at door E, which can only be for him. Eliot hands over the woman's badge.Parker and Eliot hop a transport cart as Hardison makes his way to the tower. He's foiled by a badge scanner that needs a pin.He hands it to a desk clerk, asking him to reset it. The man notices the badge is for a woman and Hardison goes into a transgender rant, claiming profiling. He rants his way to be able to see the guard's screen and gets the pin he needs.Back in the restaurant, Nate tries to pre-empt Sophie's worrying. Instead, she tells him to have a drink because it's his crutch.Nate remembers his own son again. Sam would have been 13. Nate is determined that Joshua will get the heart and get better.Hardison goes up to the tower and pretends he belongs. He tells Nate where to find the private plane and grounds it. Eliot and Parker check it out -- it's empty.Nate tries to guess their back-up plan -- there's a commercial flight to Chicago boarding now.Eliot and Parker try to race there, but first Parker yanks something out of the cart engine so they can go twice as fast.At the gate, they're looking for a black suitcase.Nate calls Chesney in his sick bed. He tells him his name and that he has his heart and wants $1 million for it.Nate tells Eliot to watch for whoever gets a panicked call. They see someone answer his phone, but he's boarding.They try to figure out how to get people off the plane. A bomb threat won't do it because they'll keep people on the plane.Nate tells Hardison they need a tornado. He and Sophie take turns calling the National Weather Service to report funnel clouds. They issue a tornado warning.At the airport, Hardison convinces the boss to sound the alarm, just to be sure. They clear the planes already boarding.Eliot and Parker wait for the heart-carrier to get off. Hardison convinces the tower manager to let him stay behind.Nate gets a call back from Chesney.Nate tells him there are 24 minutes left on the heart and he should let it go. Chesney says he has eight back up contingencies for this heart and it's his last shot. Nate lays on the threats, telling him if Joshua spends one day more than necessary in the hospital he'll hunt Chesney down and ruin his business and his name and kill him himself.Back alone in the tower, Hardison is radioed from a plane nearly out of fuel that insists on landing.Parker sees the heart carriers coming off the plane, she grabs the suitcase and runs into a tunnel, where Eliot waits and takes the guys out one by one.In the tower, Hardison tries to find the vector the pilot needs. He gets a brainstorm and opens up the game Flight Simulator.Parker keeps running with the heart with one guy after her. She runs into a luggage cart, intentionally spilling it. The man sees the suitcase and opens it. He takes out the cooler and runs.In the tower, Hardison follows the Flight Simulator prompts and successfully lands the plane.Parker reports that the man has the cooler. Nate tries to stop the private jet, but Hardison reads the screen and sees that it took off.Nate is not bothered. Sophie meets Nate and hands over the cooler. They pulled the same switch as before.Flash back to Parker tossing the suitcase over the luggage cart pushed by Sophie and the man picking up another bag. He got a cooler containing a snow globe. They just have to get it to a hospital.There's an ambulance out front. The paramedic approaches them, but Nate punches him out, seeing him as one of Chesney's contingency plans. They take the ambulance.At the hospital after the surgery, they wonder how Chesney is reacting. The kidnapper ended up stuffed in luggage and caught by security.Sophie congratulates Nate on saving the boy.The team flies home.Alone in his condo, Nate gets a call from Chesney. Nate promises to stop him if he tries again. We see Nate somehow has surveillance on Chesney's room and eyes on all his bank accounts."Well, Mr. Ford, it seems you've killed me after all," Chesney says. "I didn't kill you, God killed you," Nate says. "I just made sure it took."

As the boss takes over the phone call from a lackey, an FBI team creeps down the stairs, preparing to bust him.He gets on the phone and cons a school marm out of everything. His men cheer.The FBI team busts in -- it's the wrong room. They find a note on the phone saying "Maybe next time."The school marm meets with Nate and Sophie, saying she lost everything for her special needs school. She thinks con men are the worst.At loft HQ, Hardison briefs them on Greg Sherman, a direct descendant of "the Yellow Kid," who swindled $10 million around the turn of the last century. He's operating an inverted pyramid, calling 10 people to say the market's going up, and 10 saying it's going down, then follow up with whichever you get right. Except he's calling 1000 people."You can't con a con artist," Nate says. "We're just going to have to steal from him."Cut to Hardison among Sherman's latest pool of recruits, getting a pep talk on swindling. Sophie listens in and thinks he reads people really well. Hardison puts on a Bronx accent to impress Sherman and displays the amount of swagger Sophie tells him to.Sherman supervises Hardison closing a deal and transferring someone's money. When Hardison gets off the call, he promptly transfers it back.Later that day, Sophie and Nate deal with Parker bouncing off the walls from attending a chocolate convention. Hardison reports he's been looking for Sherman's money, but can't find it.Sherman comes in, saying he expected to find him. "I expect nothing less from Alec Hardison, hacker extraordinaire, when he's trying to pull a cyber heist."Nate listens, feeding Hardison lines. He says he was hired by a commodities broker to park proxies in Sherman's account to corner the cocoa market. (Parker blurts out "chocolate" and he has to go with it.) He says his boss is "Count Chocula."Sherman wants to meet him tomorrow at 9 a.m. Nate and the team get to work.Nate and Sophie go to Travers Investments as an IRS and British equivalent agent, saying they're doing a spot audit. They shuttle him off and turn Travers into Royal Commodities.Nate walks in on Sophie changing and admire the lingerie he bought her.Hardison brings Sherman to see Nate, but Nate says he's not interested and they have to leave because "she" is on her way and he doesn't want to spook her. Nate puts on a show of firing Hardison to go meet Sophie.Nate reminds the team they have to be at their best because Sherman is looking for signs. Hardison sets up a front of Sophie as a chocolatier. She strolls through the chocolate convention with Parker as her assistant. Sherman lifts Parker's Blackberry, which irks her but Nate says it's good that he checks up on them.Sophie takes park is a chocolate tasting exhibition in which she has to identify a chocolate's origins. She nails the country and the purity and establishes her bona fides.Sherman tries to talk to her after she comes off stage, but she breezes by to talk to Chinese business people in Chinese. Sherman's man translates and learns that Sophie is opening hundreds of chocolate stores in China, which means the demand will skyrocket and so will the stock.Sherman and his man accost Nate outside his "office" and stuff him in a trunk.Nate wakes up with his earbud still intact and Eliot offering to bust in to save him. Nate says it's fine and listens to Sherman. Nate says the crop report is coming out soon, but it's going to be wrong. He says Sophie has nothing to do with it, but Sherman doesn't believe him because he can tell Nate's sleeping with her. They just have to keep pushing Sherman until he's out of his comfort zone.Cut to Ecuador, Eliot leading Sherman through a rainforest jungle. Parker works on getting lots of monitors for something. Sophie interviews amateur actors for something.Eliot gives Sherman the full staredown, talking about darkness in the jungle. He kills a snake and eats its heart for emphasis.Parker brings Nate pallets full of monitors she charged to Sherman's guy's credit card.Eliot brings Sherman to a clearing where a forest is being clear cut. He explains that too much sunlight is bad for cocoa and the government is in the timber industry. Sherman figures out that that's why Nate knows the crop report will be wrong.Back in his call center operation, Sherman tells all his guys to buy timber. "I cannot wait to make this call," Sherman says, dialing.Sherman calls Nate, saying he wants in. Nate says it'll cost $10 million. Sherman's in.Sophie preps her roomful of amateur actors, dressed for a trading floor. They warn everyone not to stare at the marks. They run a rehearsal and one of the actors trips over a cord and pulls the plug. Hardison checks in from in front of a computer, bleary eyed from being up all night.They have a second to regroup when Eliot announces Sherman is there. He walks in to a bustling room with dozens of traders on the phones and shouting. He gives Nate a briefcase, saying it has everything he's going to give him. He opens it. It's empty.Sherman busts out laughing, saying he was onto them from the first minute. He admires their flourishes, like flying him to Ecuador, but mocks the fake trading room floor and the amateur actors.Sherman says he flooded the market with their fake cocoa story and bought $30 million in futures, doing what they were pretending to. He's extremely pleased with himself, announcing that by the time the market figures it out he'll have made $100 million and be living in a non-extradition treaty. He claims it'll be the biggest con in history.Sherman says he was so focused on Nate and Sophie that they couldn't con him. Nate tells Sherman he's right, and they didn't con him. But he was so focused on trying to figure out their con that he forgot about plan A: Hardison's cyber heist. Sherman says he just moved all his money.Flash to Hardison moving all Sherman's money. Sherman calls to check and gets Hardison. Hardison promptly hands the phone over to the FBI guy from the opening, Parker's old crush McSweeney, who informs Sherman he's being charged with insider trading and a bunch of other stuff.Sherman's goon makes a run for it, but Eliot knocks him out. The FBI comes in. As he's being led away, Sherman asks who the room full of actors is. Nate says they're all his victims.Flash to Sophie interviewing the actors and asking how much Sherman stole from each of them. Even the teacher from the beginning is there.One of the FBI guys gives Parker a note from McSweeny and a haiku. Sherman protests that Parker isn't FBI, she's a thief, but they lead him away.Back at the bar, the teacher thanks Nate for returning her money, but says she got more than her $72,000 back -- there's more than $1 million in the account.The rest of the team confronts Nate and Sophie about their relationship, but they chalk it up as friends with benefits.Later, upstairs, Hardison brings Nate info on the guy who bugged the apartment and called him. He's Jack Lattimer (Leon Rippy), an investment banker with interest in all the companies they burned, including ConAgra, Merced and others. Nate asks Hardison how much they burned him for, but Hardison says they didn't.Cut to Nate waiting for Lattimer at his palatial log cabin. Lattimer says three years ago his firm had money in Pearson Aviation -- one of the team's first cons. He had surveillance on them so when the owner cried con men, Lattimer had the evidence to believe him. But he's not upset, saying Nate isn't a villain, he's a market correction.Lattimer says he figured out the team's patterns and bet against their targets. He's been making money off Nate's victories. Nate's ready to leave, but Lattimer makes his proposal, asking Nate what about the ones that are still getting away with it? He has names he can provide, but all he wants in exchange is 24 hours warning to make his move against them. Nate walks away. "Your pride more important than helping people?" Lattimer asks.

Hardison's cell phone rings. He wakes up in the dark and uses his cell phone to check out his surroundings. With creeping horror, he realizes he's in a coffin.The camera pans back and we see that he's buried underground.Linton, Mass. Two Weeks Earlier At the Wickett Funeral home, a couple threatens to go to the police about something. A man goes to see the funeral operator about their contract. The funeral operator punches the man several times in the gut as his wife looks on helplessly and tells him to forget about it.Cut to the wife, Mrs. Newton, meeting with Nate, explaining that her father died recently of pancreatic cancer and gave Darlene Wickett $15,000 to pay for his funeral beforehand. After her father died, Darlene said there was no contract. Nate says he'll get the money back.Parker pops up from eavesdropping and wonders how the woman knows her father is at peace now. Nate says it's about faith.In loft HQ, Parker stares distractedly out the window. Nate looks into the Wicketts, Darlene and her sons. He's been able to find the Wicketts have stolen $500,000 from clients and just bought a wall safe.Eliot and Hardison come back with blueprints of the funeral home. The family lives and works on the second floor. Nate announces they're going to go steal a funeral.Cut to Nate and Sophie blending in with the mourners. Hardison goes to see Darlene Wickett, posing as a rich man whose great aunt just died.Parker crawls out of a body bag in the basement and runs a metal detector over the walls looking for the wall safe. Hardison gets freaked out just thinking about it, noting his extreme claustrophobia.Eliot goes into the other funeral, which he thinks is for an ex-con. He's dressed like a hood. But he walks in and sees that he's in a room full of cops. He pretends he's coming from an undercover operation and makes friends with the cops.Darlene shows Hardison "The Admiral" a super fancy casket with satin and a porthole. Hardison doesn't even want to get near it. She shows him a keepsake porthole to store mementos.Parker comes up empty in the basement. Darlene sends one of her sons downstairs to check the AC. Parker crawls out the window to escape, but loses her grip going up and ends up hanging outside the window of a funeral. Sophie and Nate try to distract the room full of mourners from Parker hanging outside the window. The ramble on about the old man, exalting all his great qualities and praising his trophy wife.Parker makes it upstairs and climbs into the Wickett's upstairs quarters. She scans for the wall safe. She finds an envelop taped under the bed with social security cards and passports. Nate realizes Darlene is running two scams at once.Nate feeds Hardison a story to tell Darlene, including that his aunt was a poor Haitian immigrant. Eliot sees someone texting as he comes in and follows him. Darlene goes to meet the man in the basement and hands him an envelope. She tells him there was only one and it was a slow month. She gives him a Death Record Form and tells Javier she'll have another of a Haitian immigrant soon.Back in loft HQ, Nate explains that Darlene is stealing IDs and selling them on the black market. Nate announces that instead of stealing from her they'll con her for all she's got.Parker is overwhelmed by the idea of loss, remembering losing someone when she was young. It made her worry about ever getting close to anyone.Hardison sits in his car outside the funeral home with a camera.Sophie calls Darlene, posing as a neighbor and says someone outside the house is taking pictures. Darlene looks and sees Hardison.Darlene follows Hardison to a diner, where he meets with Nate. Hardison tells Nate they shouldn't buy the Wickett funeral home because they're running a side business of identity theft. Darlene sees Nate's credit card when he pays for the bill and looks him up, verifying that he works for a funeral home operator.Nate gets up to leave the diner but runs smack into Darlene's two giant sons blocking the door. She threatens to turn him over to the police, but he says he'll turn her over.She makes Nate an offer, promising him $500,000 for 100 clean identities from his company.Then she calls Javier to relay the good news, but ups her price. Javier is busy overseeing his drug operation and isn't pleased. They're trying to get his boss and his men into the country from Juarez. They grab their guns and get ready to go.Nate and Hardison arrive at the Wicketts to see her sons counting money in stacks from the chimney. Everything is going as planned until Javier and his guy come in, with guns.Javier tells Darlene he's not paying and is just going to take the names instead. Darlene and her sons run off and get away. Javier tells Nate to get him more names, but says he wants collateral. He knocks Nate out.Nate wakes up later on the floor. Eliot is there, but Hardison is gone. Eliot sees a knife Javier's guy left behind. He knows they're dealing with Mexican drug cartel. Nate notices "the admiral" coffin is gone.Cut to Hardison waking up in it.Javier calls Hardison, telling him they should put the envelope of names on a ball diamond.At loft HQ, Parker gets a calls from Hardison. He tells them he doesn't have his earbud and is in a coffin. The phone doesn't have GPS.Nate doesn't want to hand over the names because he thinks Javier will just leave Hardison down there. They calculate how far Javier could have gone with Hardison and they find just a few cemeteries in the area.Haridson hears water turn on and off. Sprinklers. They don't think he's that deep.They phone in a fake 911 call and steal the cop car and ambulance for their sirens. Hardison fumbles around in the casket and reaches his keys and tiny Swiss army knife. Nate and Eliot drive around around in the cop car with the sirens on.Hardison uses his tiny pocket knife to cut through the coffin lining and he starts to freak out. Parker calls him from an ambulance with Sophie. Sophie tells Parker that she's the one who spends time in air ducts and knows how to help him keep calm.She talks him through breathing deeply. She promises not to get off the phone until they find him. They keep driving with their sirens on to see if he can hear them.He hears the ambulance siren. Nate calls Javier and can hear the sirens on his end of the line, so he knows he's near Hardison in the cemetery. Nate sends Sophie around back and he and Eliot go to the front and intercept Javier. Nate elbows Javier in the face and Eliot takes on his goon, going shovel to knife with him.Parker and Sophie arrive at the cemetery but see too many freshly dug graves to check them all. Hardison digs at the coffin and gets the admiral's compass out of the lid. He sees it going haywire and tells Parker that she's standing over him -- she's still carrying the metal detector. Parker and Sophie start to dig when Nate runs around the corner with Javier behind him with an automatic weapon. He fires and they duck for cover behind gravestones.Hardison is starting to gasp for air as the gunfire plays out above him. Eliot is still fighting the other goon at the cemetery gate.Parker cartwheels behind the gravestones as Javier fires at her. She tells Hardison to hang on because she needs him.With Javier distracted by Parker, Nate is able to sneak up behind him and knock him out. Eliot finally fishes with his guy and rushes to help them open the coffin.They pull Hardison out of the grave and have tearful reunions all around.Nate meets with Mrs. Newton and gives her her father's money back, plus some. She asks about Darlene.Cut to the state licensing board in Florida, Darlene applying for a license under the name Jackson. The clerk types her name into a computer and gets an alert. Sheriff's deputies arrive.Flash to Parker looking at the identities under the bed. Nate tells her they're the Wickett's fake IDs for when they go on the run and to get copies. They drop the files in the mail. Darlene is informed Emily Jackson died five years ago.Javier got away with the identities, as planned. Flash back to Sophie prepping the names.Nate dropped them after tackling Javier so he could take them when he ran. He has Hardison's earbud, which is GPS trackable. The fake names trigger a Homeland Security alert. Javier and his men are all pulled over, with a truckload of coke.Back in the bar after hours, Hardison tells Parker he wouldn't have made it through without her. He kisses her cheek and thanks her.

A boss named John greets a worker named Jeffrey as he bikes up to work at FluidDyn. John has two security guards with him. They take Jeffrey's bag and John reminds him that anything he creates while working for FluidDyn belongs to the company. Jeffrey protests that it took him a decade to make the object outside of work. John takes it, and tells Jeffrey he's fired.Jeffrey meets with Hardison and Nate, explaining his design for a super high tech computer chip.Back in HQ, Nate explains that John lied, saying there's no chip. He didn't steal it for the company, he stole it for himself to sell on the black market. He's made several trips to Russia lately.Hardison and Parker stake out John's house, which he owes heavily on due to extensive remodeling. They listen as John tries to convince his contractor to build against code. John's teenage daughter Molly comes out and asks to use her dad's computer. The nanny is an Eastern European woman named Daria.Molly's mom died a year ago. Sophie thinks John is consumed with grief, not greed.They think Jeffrey's chip is in the house.Sophie and Nate go to John's neighborhood and pose as contractors remodeling the house for sale next door. Sophie talks grandly about adding a spire to the house and making John take out his landscaping.Hardison plays with some blueprints and Parker sneaks into the city recorder's office to swap out the plans. John comes in and bribes the clerk for a copy of the blueprints, which show a giant spire.John tells Sophie he knows about the payoffs and he can either sue them or they can come work for him.Cut to John showing the team around his house, discussing what he's like done. John has a panic room. Hardison tells John he can make the house fully electronic, down to the cupboard doors and the car. John is insistent that only he or Molly goes into the panic room.They're stymied on how to gain access. Nate suggests a camera on John's glasses to get the password.Eliot knocks on the door as the security guard. John sends him to look after Molly. He says he doesn't have time to keep tabs on her.Nate starts to go into the panic room but is interrupted by the nanny.Eliots finds Molly watching a carnival down the street. He tries to make conversation but she's surly and says cheating's the only way to get anything, since the world is rigged, according to her dad. Molly says her dad hasn't let her go anywhere lately.Eliot offers that he knows how to beat carnival games that she thinks are rigged: hard work. "Was 'Rudy' on TV last night?" she asks.Hardison rigs a new pair of glasses with a camera for John. Parker bumps into him and knocks his glasses off, putting the new ones on him.Hardison watches the video as John goes into the panic room to take a phone call. He tells someone to have the money there tonight. John takes off his glasses and opens the safe, so Hardison gets no shot of the combination. He takes out his chip and contemplates it then says "sorry, Jeffrey."Hardison shows Nate the footage and they realize John got into the panic room with a breath scan. They need John's or Molly's breath.Parker comes back to HQ irked that Hardison has built a robot, she thinks to replace her. He named it after her as a lovesick homage.At her house, Eliot shows Molly how to throw darts at balloons in an arc to pop them. He has her blow one up. He shows her how to throw in a mirror, but she doesn't like mirrors. "I don't like what I see," she says.Parker swipes Molly's balloon. Daria comes to get Molly to go to the carnival. Molly insists Eliot come along.John comes downstairs to see Sophie slap Nate and storm out. John and Nate follow her outside.Parker releases the balloon on the sensor and it opens. Parker and the robot go into the panic room to crack the safe, but Parker refuses to let the robot work.At the carnival, Eliot gives Molly tips on how to beat the games.Sophie and Nate keep John distracted with their fake argument outside.Inside, Parker works on the safe over Hardison's pleas to let the robot do it in a fraction of the time.Molly hears Eliot talking to Parker over his earpiece and wants to listen. He gives her one, but tells her to put it in her pocket.Parker finally attaches the robot and it opens the safe in no time.Eliot watches Molly and Daria walk away into the crowd.Parker grabs the chip.Eliot can't find Molly in the crowd and Daria runs up crying that someone took her.Daria says there were three men. Eliot sends her back to the house.Nate tells the team they have a new mission to get Molly back. Everybody agrees.Nate takes the chip they just swiped and gives it to John as a goodwill gesture and to get his attention. He explains they were working for Jeffrey but the Russians he was going to sell the chip to have kidnapped Molly. The Russians call and Nate answers. They hang up.Eliot hears Molly's voice in his ear. She has the earbud. She's in the dark and scared. He promises he's coming for her. He asks her to listen. She hears one of the rides.The Russians call again and demand they bring the chip to the carnival in one hour. Nate thinks they're being tested. He tells Hardison to clear the carnival.They check blueprints and figure out based on the sounds that Molly is in the northeast corner. Hardison directs Eliot to a supply closet for chemicals. He tells him to mix it with hot liquid and run.A Russian sniper rides the Ferris wheel for the tenth time for the vantage point.Eliot dumps the chemicals in a deep fryer and creates giant clouds of smoke, sending people for the exits.The teams waits at the entrance. Nate tries to convince John to let them handle it.Eliot talks to Molly, telling her to stay quiet and to run if he says so.Hardison heads to the security closet to watch the surveillance. Eliot finds one Russian and knocks him out then takes on another. As he's fighting him on an amusement park ride, another man turns the machine on and it cracks into Eliot, knocking him out.A gunman confronts Nate, but he says he refuses to speak to anyone but "her."Daria walks out, asking how he knew.Flash back to Daria taking a call and telling Molly it was her dad, telling them to go to the carnival so they're not late. Then flash to Sophie lifting John's phone and Nate finding the call history empty. Then flash to Nate noticing Daria's Russian mob tattoo.Parker races through the park. Nate demands to talk to Molly, but Daria points out the rifle sight on his chest.Nate looks at it and counts to three. The rifle laser sight shifts from Nate to Daria. Up in the Ferris Wheel, Parker has taken out the sniper and grabbed his gun.Molly tries to talk to Eliot through her earbud but he's still out cold. John borrows Sophie's earbud to talk to her. He assures her he hired the best and they're coming for her. He promises to be there for her in the future.Eliot wakes up on the pavement, bleeding from his mouth. Nate stalls for time with Daria.Eliot runs to the storage shed but finds they moved Molly.Eliot hears Molly telling the gunman holding on to her that he's going to regret taking her. Eliot asks her for a clue and she says she doesn't like what she sees.Since they don't have Molly yet, Nate gives Daria the chip. He tells Eliot to wait, but he announces he's going for Molly and heads for the house of mirrors.Eliot goes into the funhouse but someone gets the jump on him and knocks him out. He thinks he sees a bad guy, but ends up punching a mirror. Another goon socks him. Daria runs to her car and drives off.Eliot looks in the mirrors and sees a Russian standing behind him. He starts dropping elbows, but is knocked down quickly. Eliot gets back up, but the Russian knocks him out again. Eliot tries again, but is knocked down again. He hears Molly saying she's scared and the Russian taunting him.Eliot stands up again, but shuts his eyes. He goes all Jedi (appropriate since Yoda's voice Frank Oz directed this episode) and dodges the Russian's fists with his eyes closed. The Russian runs at him but he socks him in the gut. Eliot knocks him out. A mirror shatters behind him and he sees a man holding Molly. Eliot takes him out with a swift right.A seriously pulverized Eliot takes Molly to her dad.The team reconvenes in the parking lot, where Daria is trying to get out of her car, or start it.Flash back to Hardison explaining how he can wire everything, including the car. He shuts it off remotely and locks her in. He rolls down the window and grabs the chip, then rolls it up, leaving her there.Cut to the team giving the chip back to Jeffrey. They hear Molly and her dad are making up for lost time.Eliot is bruised and battered, but says he hired a nurse. He leaves with a hot blond.Hardison tries to explain the Parker robot to the real thing. The robot is green because it's her favorite color. He says the robot wasn't to replace Parker, she's for her. Parker grabs it and announces she loves it. She wants to call it "Hardy."

When her dad comes over to help, one of them punches him and nearly runs him over.Emily meets with Sophie and Nate. She says someone from a food corporation named Verd Agra offered to buy their property a while ago, but she turned them down. She shows Nate and Sophie what's so valuable: a potato.She created one with vitamin A, to help fight blindness in malnourished children. She's a crop sciences major. It's a super tuber.She plans to give it away. She says the men put her father in the hospital. Nate assures her they'll take care of it.Sophie mentions she's hungry and Nate suggests dinner, saying "as friends" about five times.Cut to Sophie coming downstairs the next morning and Nate half dressed. Nate stammers and tries to tell her he doesn't want a relationship. She seems to agree, saying the work is the most important thing. She says they're friends with "extras."The rest of the team comes in. Sophie notices her bra is on the stairs, Nate tries to hide it before anyone notices. He passes it back to her.The potato market is worth $3.5 billion a year. Colin Saunders (Mitch Pileggi) is the Verd Agra CEO. Hardison describes him as power hungry. His No. 2 is Jana West.Nate gets a call from Emily that Verd Agra is back at her house. Cut to Jana West and two goons taking Emily's potato, claiming she grew it from their seeds.The Leveragers arrive about 10 minutes after they've left. They have to get the potato before the Verd Agra people get it back to their HQ, which is heavily fortified.Nate sends Sophie and Hardison after their SUV on back roads. They find a truck with bales of hay on it. Cut to Hardison scooping the bales out of the road and the Verd Agra pulling up to the blocked road.He doesn't do a convincing job pretending to be a farmer. Sophie steps in and punches him out. She tells Jana she's a security consultant hired by her company and they have to get the potato back to HQ. Sophie rides with them.Having a man inside changes the plan.The rest of the team picks up Hardison and follows Sophie to Verd Agra. Sophie sends Hardison Jana's cell phone number en route so he can trace her calls. Nate goes about building Sophie a profile for when they check her back ground.Hardison pulls up Eliot's go-to cover story and swaps Sophie in. She passes muster. Jana calls the board for confirmation and Nate answers and tells her to check with the CEO.Hacked into surveillance they see Sophie led into a waiting room. She meets with Jana, who doesn't believe that the CEO would hire her without telling her. Sophie talks tough, saying she understands what it's like to be a woman in a competitive field. She has a gruff Southern twang and Eliot realizes she's doing his voice.She tells Jana she has a mole, otherwise known as a "Romanian Circus" -- you fake an internal threat to turn people against each other. Nate says it's a variant known as the "snipe hunt".Sophie meets with the CEO, who says they're doing Emily a favor and deserve a cut. He says the spud is in their "burn room" and he's the only one with access. Hardison knows it's a vault within a vault, with walls lined with thermite, so that it can be burnt at a moment's notice.Sophie suggests Saunders order a lockdown, Nate knows the con will only work if the whole team gets in in the next five minutes.Hardison walks up with a stack of packages and lifts the ID card of a security guard who stops to help. He's in. They're expecting her assistant, which takes care of getting Nate in. Sophie says she really needs Eliot the hitter on the inside. He tackles a nerd on his way in and takes his dweeb clothes. He signs in and meets Sophie inside. He looks around and can tell there are a lot of ex-military men around.Nate sees a school bus full of kids arriving and he and Parker go greet the teacher as the education consultants. They tells her to come back at 5p and she's happy to leave.Once they're inside, the alarms go off and the building is locked down. Nate teases one of the kids, Trevor, for having a cell phone. "It's for if I get abducted," he explains. Nate explains to the kids and Parker that the badges work like lo-jacks and she can't get into the high security system without one.Sophie introduces Eliot to Saunders. His real voice is too much like the one Sophie is using so he goes for high-pitched dweeb. She suggest they investigate the head of IT first. That leaves the IT surveillance room open for Hardison and Nate.Sophie is getting Parker three badges to fool the system so she can get to the burn room. She wraps the badges in foil to further mess with the signal.From security, Nate and Hardison watch her. She's stops at a key pad. Hardison plays video footage of the employee whose badge she has getting money from the cafeteria ATM. He uses the same PIN .Nate and Hardison are interrupted by Trevor the bratty kid, who finds them in the IT security room. They tell him they're playing a game.Hardison gets to the next interior level and finds a guard outside a door with a dual manual lock. The guard has one key.Nate wants Sophie to call in the head of security but they bicker. Parker sees a janitor and plans to lift his keys. They doubt she can get them, but she walks up and sneezes on him and grabs his keys.They call the janitor into meet with Sophie, to keep him from noticing his keys are gone.Sophie tries to think of ways to keep him distracted as Hardison looks up his squeaky clean file. Sophie accuses him of having a bank account in the Caymans and Nate thinks she's gone too far. But Hardison finds an account with over $3 million in it. The janitor confesses.The team can't believe they actually found a mole. Jana thinks this means they can lift the lockdown.Sophie takes her aside and raises her suspicions, suggesting that the janitor couldn't have done it alone. She suggests Saunders might be working against his own company and that Jana should keep the lockdown in place to investigate.Nate calls a security guard and yells at him to distract him so he'll let Parker through quickly.Parker gets to the outside vault and opens the door. It's subzero but she goes in. There's a keypad on the door. She breathes on it and sees fingerprints on numbers, but there are only four of them. Nate says the code is six numbers, specific to Saunders. Nate remembers Saunder's start date and feeds it to Parker.She gets to the inside vault, where lasers guard the potato. Saunders confronts Sophie, accusing her of trying to sabotage him.The alarms go off in the vault and Nate announces they're blown. A lackey tells Saunders about an intruder in the vault -- but the computer says it's Saunders. Flash back to Sophie assuring him they'll catch the intruder with a pat on the arm, and her swiping his ID badge.Saunders orders his three security guys to take Sophie, but Eliot is there to fend them off. Saunders goes for the burn room switch and they tell Parker to get out. She slides out of the room just as the flames erupt.Saunders orders someone to search everyone leaving the building. He stops Nate and Parker. Security guards take him away. Then security guards come for Jana.Flash back to Nate telling Hardison to make sure the transfer came from her.Parker trades Trevor the trouble maker for his cell phone as he gets on the bus.Flash back to Parker and Nate using a paper cutter to slice off a piece of the potato and hide it in his cell phone case. He sneaks it through the metal detector, since they don't search kids.The rest of the potato ended up with the regular potatoes in the cafeteria.Back at the bar, Emily is thrilled Saunders got fired and is being prosecuted for larceny. They hand over the potato slice.Nate and Sophie admire each other's techniques on the job. Nate gets flustered asking how they'll make things works. Sophie suggests dinner, as friends.They walk out, and Nate leaves his cell phone on the bar. Hardison calls with an urgent message after watching a news report. Charlie sniffs out his badge as fake, but the man warns him his boss will hunt Charlie until he gets the painting. The threat makes Charlie's heart race. He slumps over.Nate meets with an old insurance investigator peer named Owen. Owen tells him he's closer than ever to finding a painting. He found love letters from a Nazi infantryman named Conrad Becker in which Becker referenced it. He was stationed at the museum where the lost Van Gogh went missing from. The trial leads to Oregon. Becker was killed by US troops a few years later and they think Charles Lawson ended up with it. Owen makes a plea for Nate to help Charlie because the people who want the painting will stop at nothing to get it.Nate and Sophie both have fond memories of chasing the lost Van Gogh. At condo HQ, Nate tells Eliot he sent Hardison and Parker on ahead. Sophie explains the museum that held the painting was hit by allied bombing during WWII. It'd be worth about $100 million. They worry what someone would do for that 10 percent finder's fee.At the hospital in Oregon, Parker tells Charlie that she and Hardison are there to keep him safe.Sophie and Nate head to Willamette City to visit 88-year-old Charlie. He denies he has the painting. They all go to leave, but Parker grabs Hardison's hand and suggests they not give up. The gesture speaks to Charlie somehow and he agrees to talk only to Parker.Eliot checks out the house where Charlie Lawson grew up in, posing as somebody with the gas company (he does a scan and tells her she has 84 percent "LOL"). He's about to go inside when she tells him the mold inspector is in back. Eliot goes to the back yard and finds the man from the opening. He knows him as Frank.Eliot and Frank start fighting. Eliot picks up a nearby pink bat to fend him off. The house owner comes around back and Frank runs off. Eliot asks if she knows of any of the house's original features to pinpoint its age. She doesn't, but mentions she found some old art.Charlie tells Parker that it all started at the Roller Palace when he was a kid. That's where he met Dorothy Ross, the white daughter of Alfred Ross, a lumber baron in town. He tells the story of getting to know her and realizing she felt trapped like he did. He remembers talking about where they each wanted to travel (in flashbacks, he's Hardison and she's Parker).At the house, the woman brings out an old poster of Paris.Charlie explains Dorothy's dad bought her French lessons and she in turn taught him. He had an ear for languages. He joked about going there someday with her and she said she's like that. They were interrupted by her father.He thought he got away with the crime of hitting on a white woman, but later that night a man who worked in Mr. Ross' mill confronted him, ready to beat the crap out of him. He was stopped by the sheriff (played by Nate in flashback).The sheriff warned him he'd be on his own after he shipped off to war and the deputies wouldn't protect him. Charlie wanted to do something to change Ross' mind about him. He decided maybe he was ready to go to France. Dorothy goes to find him one day at the roller rink, but someone tells him Charlie enlisted.Overseas, Charlie drove a supply truck and used his language skills to trade with the locals. After D-Day they were clearing a village of Germans when their supply truck was ambushed. Charlie picked up a rifle and fired at the German sniper and killed him. He didn't understand why the man would be alone. He lifted his letter before the others could see.Hardison comes back from the hall of records to report that Dorothy got married to a man named Van Buren but died three years ago. Her daughter lives in town.Back overseas, a man in his unit got all the credit for killing the sniper. Charlie confronted his superior officer (Eliot in flashback) who admitted Charlie would get no medal because the country didn't give medals to black men then.Charlie read the letter of the man he shot, which referenced the valuable painting. Charlie remembered they collected the sniper's gear after he was killed. Charlie went and found the painting -- the Van Gogh -- rolled up in the dead soldier's gear.Sophie meets with Dorothy's daughter, who mentions her aunt Cecelia taught her mom how to play the organ at the Roller Palace.Flash back to Sophie as the aunt teaching Dorothy/Parker and Charlie/Hardison returning from war.Charlie tells Parker about returning to see Dorothy.Hardison calls the daughter to give Sophie room to snoop around her house. She finds a safety deposit box key.Charlie shows Dorothy the painting and suggests they can sell it and move to Paris. She says yes. They plan to leave the next night while she's playing at the Roller Palace because the whole town will be there. Nate the sheriff comes to pick up Cecelia/Sophie the aunt. He sees Charlie leave.Sophie and Hardison pose as FDIC agents at the bank to get access. Eliot is waiting outside when he recognizes another recovery agent. He remembers Randall owes him money for a Paul McCartney guitar. They duke it out in the parking lot.At the Roller Palace, the goon reports to Mr. Ross that Charlie is back in town.Charlie waits under a train trestle.Dorothy plays the organ during a roller show. Cecelia slips in and takes over at the organ, bringing Dorothy's things.Out in the woods, Charlie is intercepted by Mr. Ross and some of his men.Dorothy races to get out of the Roller Palace, but finds that sheriff Nate has barred the door, angry that she involved his wife.Mr. Ross' man pulls a knife, but Charlie reaches into his bag and pulls the pin on a grenade -- it's a dud, from the bunch Charlie collected overseas.Charlie finds Dorothy waiting for him under the train trestle. Mr. Ross's men run at them, but sheriff Nate steps out and shoots at them, scaring them off. They head to the train, but Dorothy worries that her father will do whatever it takes to catch her where ever she goes. She doesn't want to put Charlie in that danger.He gives her the painting and tells her to keep it safe. They kiss good-bye and he tells her he loves her. He hops the train the leaves her crying in the mist.Back in the hospital, Charlie tells Parker that was the last time he saw Dorothy. He came back to the town to see her, but was a couple years too late. He doesn't think it matters where the painting is.In the safety deposit box, they find $70,000. They think Dorothy sold it, but Nate announces he knows where it is.At the Roller Palace, Nate tries out each key on the pipe organ. He finds one that doesn't play true. The woman who works there says it's been like that for years.They take down the pipe and Nate finds a tube inside -- it's the painting. Nate's admiring it when his friend Owen shows up behind him with the gun and two goons.Nate lights the tube on fire. Eliot whacks the goons with the piece of organ pipe. Nate pulls the unharmed painting out from his coat.They meet with Charlie, who has decided to donate it. Nate relays Dorothy's daughter telling Sophie about her mom's fight to preserve the organ and the roller palace. He tells Charlie she kept her promise to keep the Van Gogh safe.Charlie says good-bye to everyone, including Parker. He grabs her hand and tells her not to waste time. She looks at Hardison and they leave holding hands.

He mocks up a photo of a man with a drink in his hand, blood-shot eyes and a girl draped around him.Cut to the State's Attorney having lunch with Nate and Sophie. He and Nate grew up together. He admits he had a drug problem, but says he's never tried to hide that. Nate has the photo mocked up by Reed Rockwell, who's doing PR for the opposition. There was also a bottle of vicodin planted in his office.Nate orders his third drink. Nate assures his friend Ed that he has the situation under control.Back at the HQ, the rest of the team reports they can't find dirt on Rockwell, but he creates plenty. He was rumored to have taken down a congressman by faking a plagiarism charge. Hardison admires his skill.They know where he gets his morning coffee and that's it.They can't ruin his reputation because he's so under-the-radar. Nate suggests making him famous, then discrediting him.Eliot and Parker fake a purse snatching right as Rockwell walks by, but he doesn't take the bait and keeps walking. Sophie tries letting a stroller roll down the street by Rockwell but he walks away instead of stopping it. Nate concludes it's going to be harder than he thought to make Rockwell into a hero.Eliot and Sophie go into a coffee store. Hardison complains that he has no idea what he's doing. Rockwell comes in and orders a fancy coffee as Nate watches on surveillance.Hardison busts into the coffee shop with a gun and a mask, holding the place up. Rockwell tries to sneak out, but Hardison stops him. Rockwell suggests that Sophie would make a much better hostage than he would. Eliot gets behind Rockwell and bumps him into Hardison, who gets knocked over and runs off.Nate's prepping to have Sophie stick with Rockwell for his accolades, but he jumps in his car and drives off.Hardison hacks into YouTube and rigs millions of hits for the video. Sophie goes on the news praising him as a hero.The next day he gets free coffee at the shop. When he passes by a construction site, Eliot leads them in a round of applause. Parker chats him up at a bar, inviting him to a party and getting his phone number.Nate goes to Rockwell's office posing as a media consultant. Rockwell's about to throw him out but there's a crowd of paparazzi at his door.Nate tells Rockwell he has him booked to give a motivational speech that night on ordinary heroism. Rockwell asks his guy to run a background check on Nate's cover ID.They think they have him hooked.Sophie thinks Nate is pushing hard because he wants to take down Rockwell, not just help his friend. Parker and Eliot look through the motivational speech options around town so they can borrow a crowd while Hardison makes up a cover ID for Nate.They find a speech featuring an old guy who just donated a kidney to his best friend. Sophie greets him and steals his glasses. Sophie leads the 80 year old man onto the stage, warning him that the lights are going to be very bright.He's in an empty auditorium, but can't tell because they have taped crowd noise and he has no glasses.Nate gives Rockwell a speech written by Hardison, telling him that the people want to hear him because he's on the brink of having everything he ever wanted.Rockwell goes out and says "you can be a hero to" and gets applause and is sucked in. He kills it.Nate tells him next he has to do news interviews. They break and meet back later at Rockwell's office. Nate tells him there are interviews coming up and they'll have to do a background check. Rockwell seems concerned.Nate comes downstairs hungover in the morning. Hardison tells him Rockwell just withdrew $25,000 from his account in small bills.Eliot and Sophie follow Rockwell's lackey with the suitcase to a town 20 minutes away. They hear a woman in a trailer telling him to get off the porch. As he storms his way in, Eliot runs to help. He fights the man off and sends him running back to the car with the suitcase.Eliot sticks around to fix Emma's broken screendoor. Emma tells Sophie that she went to high school with Reed and one night when she and her boyfriend and another girl were all drinking they got in a car accident and the girl was killed.Nate guesses that Rockwell was driving and covered it up because he's not mentioned in news articles about the crash. The woman confirms that Rockwell was driving and she even had a picture she took from the backseat proving it. But when she took it to the police her boyfriend showed up at the wheel, so he was the one who went to jail for vehicular manslaughter.Nate finds the photo in an article. Hardison says to swap it Rockwell would have had to replace the roll of film with identical pictures except that one, which is hard but not impossible. Nate sends Eliot and Parker to get the doctored negative from the police archive.They head there and Hardison distracts the woman at the desk while Parker sneaks around looking for it. She finds it.Back at HQ, Sophie thinks they're losing control of the job and Elilot thinks they're being reckless. Nate tells Eliot to take the rest of the job off.Sophie thinks Nate is pushing so hard because Rockwell reminds him of everything he hates about himself.Hardison goes over the negatives but says they won't be able to prove they were altered so they can't pin the car accident on him.Back at the office, Rockwell yells at his lackey for messing up the payoff. The lackey tells him he got beat up.Emma calls Rockwell, telling him she found a photo he missed and she wants $250,000. Sophie coaches her as she sets up a meet with Rockwell, telling him he has an hour to bring the cash.Nate strolls into his office as Rockwell is melting down, drinking and denying he was driving that night. Nate tells Rockwell that maybe the payment isn't such a bad idea, since Emma will go away. He assures him he'll make that money back in a month of speaking engagements.Later, Rockwell tells his lackey to make sure Emma doesn't get away.At the meet, Rockwell gets in the back of the car as directed. It races off and he notices that Parker is behind the wheel. Rockwell is protesting as Parker races down the street when an SUV plows into the car.Rockwell comes to and thinks Parker is dead. He takes the case and runs off. Back at his office he calls Nate, but is greeted by police.In interrogation with the police, they show footage of the crash that clearly shows Rockwell getting out from behind the wheel of the SUV.Flash to Eliot meeting the lackey before he gets in the car and breaking his arm to get the keys. Then Eliot drove the car to hit Parker, who was unharmed.Hardison manipulates the video to put Rockwell behind the wheel.The police show Rockwell records of hundreds of text and calls to Parker.Flash to Hardison cloning his cell after Parker gets his number at the bar.The police think he was stalking her. He says he was only in the car because he was being blackmailed by her and says the cash in his briefcase will prove it.They open his briefcase but only see the photo from the car accident 14 years ago.Flash to Eliot getting out after causing the crash and swapping the briefcases while Rockwell is out cold. The photo has now been altered again to show Rockwell behind the wheel 14 years ago. Rockwell is protesting he was set up when the State's Attorney comes in.Cut to the Leveragers at the bar watching a news report about the State's Attorney freeing Emma's boyfriend who was in jail for the accident he didn't cause. Hardison mentions the $250,000 is waiting for Emma at her house.Nate admits he was reckless, but says that it worked.When the team leaves, Nate gets a call from a man (Leon Rippy) who Nate guesses was the one bugging his apartment. He asks Nate if he wants to take over some outstanding contracts of Rockwell's. Nate declines. The man chuckles at the idea that Nate honestly thinks he's one of the good guys.

On a dark and stormy night at a giant mansion, a man walks through the halls holding a gun. He comes to a room with a body draped by a sheet. He tells the person in there to put up their hands. Nate says it's not what it looks like. The man thinks it looks like murder. Nate agrees that maybe it is what it looks like.Three Days EarlierAt Pub HQ, a woman tells Nate about Morris Beck (guest star William Russ), a builder whose buildings have a way of collapsing. There have been four fatalities and numerous injuries.Nate says it's an old scam, using bad materials and then leaving town.The woman is a lawyer with a case against him. She was with a big firm but Beck got her fired and is burying her in motions. She needs the original blueprints or her case will get dismissed.Cut to Nate and Sophie paying Beck a visit. Eliot pushes a cleaning cart down the hallway.They find Beck's snotty entitled daughter telling Tom Case, Beck's VP of development, that she's taking the Aston Martin.They witness an angry man leaving Beck's office. As they follow him, Beck berates his subordinate Potter and orders him to make his murder mystery more complicated.Nate and Sophie are posing as Yma Sumac (a singer with a 4-octave voice who pretended to be an Inca princess) and Dexter Gordon (a jazz saxophonist from the 30's), who represent a Middle Eastern business with construction needs. Beck has worked up a quote for them. Sophie uses his computer to email it and installs a skeleton key in his computer.In the hallway, Eliot taps on his giant trash can and Parker hops out and into the records room. She uses the skeleton key to access the server, where she uses a flash drive to grab the blueprints.Back at HQ, they look at the files and see that they're not blueprints. Instead it's the location of Beck's mansion on his small private island off Massachusetts.There's a murder mystery gala planned for the next night. Guests are supposed to come dressed as their favorite detectives.At the party, the VP Case tells Potter to go deal with Beck's daughter, who is dressed as a flapper (possibly Agatha Christie's Tuppence Beresford) and being a nuisance.Eliot is dressed up a Pinkerton detective and Hardison is Encyclopedia Brown and Parker is Nancy Drew. Sophie is dressed as Irene Adler and Nate is Ellery Queen.The angry union guy, Capriati, from Beck's office is there. The island is on its own power grid so the power fuzzes out occasionally in the storm.Sophie thinks Nate is being odd, that Beck is getting to him.Beck greets his guests by taunting them. They're all his bitter competitors. Beck appears to already be drunk. They begin the game, but first Beck insists all the guests turn over their cell phones.Capriati the union guy accosts Sophie, warning her not to do business with Beck. The guy from the open advises him to leave. He's Ray from the Salem PD -- not a costume, a real police officer.Eliot looks for their way off the island and finds only one old boat. Hardison finds the electrical system is from the 1850s, all manual. There's nothing for him to crack or hack. The power keeps going out. He suggests something that will test the electrical output to track the safe or anything drawing a lot of power.Parker examines the hallway and finds something amiss in the design.Hardison sends her two floors down to check something out. She finds no safe, just Beck's daughter making out with someone in the pantry where the master control for the power is.Beck announces the stakes of the game. There will be a murder at midnight and whoever solves it by dawn will win $100,000.Nate is standing behind Beck on the balcony as he makes the announcement. The power goes out and someone comes out and grapples with Beck. When the lights come back on Beck is lying on the floor below. His daughter looks up and shrieks that Nate has killed her dad.Sophie tries to calm the panicked guests by announcing that Beck's body is really a dummy and solving his murder is the game, which is news to Potter, who designed it.Sophie and Nate pretend to be with the murder party company and vamp for the guests to quell panic. Eliot, the "murder doctor," takes the "fake" body away.Ray the detective examines the spot where the body fell and finds real blood. He snaps some photos with his phone.Eliot lays Beck's body down in an office. Beck is really dead. His neck was snapped before he fell. Eliot explains that Nate is the only witness and the only suspect so he'd better solve the murder, or he's getting blamed.Ray the detective knocks on office door, wanting to see Beck. Eliot comes out and says Beck told them not to tell anyone where he is. Sophie runs up with a story to draw Ray away.Eliot points out the killer can't get off the island til the morning either. Nate tries to remember what he saw, but the power was out. He remembers a medium build, dark jacket and short hair.Nate sends Eliot off to chat up the guests. Nate also says the person has something shiny in his inside pocket.Eliot finds Capriati and warns him not to touch Sophie again. When Capriati gives him lip, Eliot whacks him a few times and checks his pocket. There's a silver flask in his jacket.In the office, Nate bets that the killer was someone who knew Beck better.Hardison continues checking the electrical boxes. Parker tells him there's something off with the hallways. The dimensions are wrong. She disappears.Hardison goes looking for her since she her earpiece isn't working.Sophie tries to distract Ray, but he tells her he thinks Beck is really dead. He tells her about the blood he found. He tells her to stick close to be out of harm's way.Eliot visits with Case, who says Beck is a jerk who switched the night's events without telling him. When Case goes for a drink, Eliot knocks him down and finds a smartphone in his pocket.Hardison continues looking for Parker and finds a keystone cop security guy instead. Hardison knocks him down but ends up in a dead end. Parker pulls Eliot into a secret passageway. It goes through the whole house -- she found the blueprints and the safe.Case tells Eliot he wishes someone would kill Beck for real. Nate tells Eliot to check his jacket for rips. Eliot knocks him out but finds none.Hardison and Parker come out a secret passageway on the balcony where Beck was killed. Eliot's still not sure Nate didn't kill Beck. Nate gets frustrated and takes out his earpiece. The power goes out again for a second.Ray pulls Sophie into a room and confronts her. He knows she's not who she says. He also sent a picture of Nate to Interpol and found out he's a grifter and thief. Sophie says she's never heard of Nate. She sticks to her cover story by saying her mother was a big fan of Yma Sumac and named her after the singer. He handcuffs her to a couch.Sophie tries to warn Nate but he can't hear her.Nate sits in the dark and tries to remember what he saw. He has an epiphany and puts his earbud in, announcing he knows who killed Beck.Ray busts in and Nate protests it's not what it looks like. Ray holds a gun on Nate as Nate explains who killed Beck.Nate says everyone had motive. He shows Ray the secret passages. He says whoever did it had to know Beck gave a speech on the balcony, drunk, every year. The fact that Nate was standing there messed up the plan because otherwise it would have looked like an accident.Nate remembers that the blackout during which Beck was killed came before the lightning, which is opposite of every other blackout. Nate says there's a master junction box in the pantry, which the killers knew about. One killed the electricity while another one did the deed.Some of the staff, Case and Beck's daughter would have known about the box. Nate thinks his daughter killed him to get his money before Beck blew it all.Nate asks to see Ray's badge. Ray opens his jacket. Nate realizes that's what he saw. Ray puts his gun to Nate's chest. Nate says there's one problem. The power goes out and Nate runs down the passageway. Hardison and Parker grab the blueprints. Sophie knocks out Beck's daughter.Ray thinks he has Nate cornered in another room, when the power goes out again and Nate whacks Ray with a pipe wrench that was put there as part of the original murder mystery.Nate uses Ray's phone to call Lt. Bonanno.On the news, Case talks about Beck as if he was a humanitarian. He got the $100,000 for solving Beck's murder.Back at the Bar HQ, their client is glad Beck's company settled for millions.Nate tells Sophie that every one of the team believed for a second that Nate might have actually killed Beck. Sophie asks him if he's drinking because of what he thinks they think or because of what he thinks of himself.

Open with hockey goon-turned finacial wizard Mark Vector meeting with a client he has bilked out of his life savings. The client complains and is promptly pummeled in the face.Vector's victim tells his story to Nate and we learn that Vector has a deal with the government to testify in exchange for immunity. At this point The Italian shows up and asks Nate for an update on getting her Damien Moreau. He tells her Vector is connected to Moreau and she tells him Vector's slate is wiped clean as soon as he testifies.The team asks Nate about The Italian and why she seems to be his little secret. Hardison presents the Vector file: Publically he's a stock genius but in actuality he's a huckster who preys on former fans and launders money for underworld figures. He's going to testify against some of his mob clients the following day. Nate's not sure what Vector has on Moreau, but he knows they must get to him before he testifies.They begin by intercepting Vector at the airport. McSweeten is the agent assigned to pick of Vector. Nate is able to switch Vector's terminal and have McSweeten think he needs to be elsewhere.We flashback to the plan: Nate and Sophie decide they must get Vector into such big trouble that his existing immunity agreement is worthless. Vector's temper and affinity for drinking seems to be their way in. Also part of the plan is to "steal" Vector's fix-in lawyer, Daniel Firestone.Sophie meets up with Firestoine pretending to be a deperate investment banker being investigated by the feds. Despite offers a massive retainer he suggest his colleague, Adam Grieves. We see Sophie was taping the interaction.In the airport Parker moves in and begins flirting. She pretends to be a fan and they head to a bar. Upstairs Nate is converting his apartment so that Parker can pretend it is hers. Parker gets an already drunk to come upstairs where Nate has pre-spiked one of the glasses. The next morning Vector rolls over to find Parker's seemingly dead body lying next to him.A panicked Vector grabs his phone as we see via flashback that after he passed out from the drugging Parker gave herself the corpse makeover. Vector calls Firestone, but Hardison intercepts the call and uses Sophie's recording to make him think Firestone is out of the country and wants him to see his partner.Nate will be playing Firestone's partner with Sophie acting as the prosecutor offering a new immunity deal in exchange for info on Moreau. Nate thinks for this to work Hardison and Eliot are going to have to get her the original immunity deal for Sophie to waive in Vector's face.Hardison and Eliot have police aliases which include their own squad car. They go to the grand jury office with a fake story that gets them Vector's agreement. Unfortunately before they can leave they are given a witness who needs to be transported back to lockup.Nate comes into the apartment and talks to Vector about the trouble he's gotten himself into.With the prisoner in the back, Eliot and Hardison argue over the aliases being too good.McSweeten approaches the apartment, apparently having tracked Vector's cab using traffic cameras. Since he believes Parker to be a fellow agent, the plan is for her to climb down the window and meet him.Eloit and Hardison hear a call for a domestic dispute with a weapon and Eliot wants them to respond in case kids are in danger. It turns out to be an angry couple with a bat-wielding wife. The guys have to get very hands-on.McSweeten enters the bar and Parker walks in. She makes up a lie about being deep under cover and asks him to walk outside with her. She gets a call and hangs back for a second.Upstairs Nate shows Vector that McSweeten is outside and tells him they are stuck there until he leaves. Nate sees a suspicious flash in a window across the street.After handling the domestic case the guy return to their car and find the prisoner has escaped.Nate has Vector go through what happened the night before. Vector admits that because of his temper it's possible he could have lost his temper and hurt her. Nate then calls a "friend" at the U.S. Attorney's office to get him a new deal.Eliot and Hardison find their prisoner. He tells them he testified about dirty cops laundering money and he can't go back to prison.Parker tells McSweeten everybody knows about his losing Vector. He's worried he'll get in trouble.Eliot and Hardison come into the bar and give Sophie the agreement. She brings it upstairs and with Nate's help they are able to talk Vector into giving up information on Moreau. He says he helped Moreau move his money and is the only person who has information like routing numbers.In the bar Eliot and Hardison notice what appears to be a group of off-duty police officers walk in. They are the dirty cops their prisoner was talking about and are probably there to kill Vector.McSweeten and Parker begin searching the lofts upstairs for Vector.Nate and Vector look out the window as a gunman opens fire on the apartment with a high-powered automatic weapon. Nate and Vector hit the deck. Nate spots Vector's phone and remembers someone bumping into him in the airport who must have been Moreau's henchman.Eliot knocks one of the cops out and draws them into the back. At this point Hardison cuts the lights and Eliot takes care of the other three dirty cops. Hardison then cuts power to the elevator, allowing Parker to ditch him in the elevator car. Hardison turns on the fire alarm and sprinklers across the street, forcing the gunman to leave.Scared that Moreau is going to kill him, Vector changes his mind about helping Nate and Sophie. He runs into the elevator with McSweeten and tells him to get him to the grand jury.Sophie tells them they'll never get to Vector now. Nate says cryptically that they "already have his codes" for Moreau's money and tells Eliot and Hardison to get to the courthouse.Vector takes his seat in the courthouse for the grand jury. Vector begins his testimony just as Parker enters the room and sits next to McSweeten. Vector thinks she and McSweeten must be part of some Moreau plan to kill him and jumps off the stand, yelling at McSweeten. Eliot and Hardison restrain him and Parker eventually steps in with a taser.In an effort to help McSweeten get back in the good graces of his bosses, Parker stuck Eliot and Hardison's prisoner in his trunk.Nate meets with The Italian and confronts her about knowing that Vector would have the codes for Moreau's money and realizing dirty cops were waiting to kill him. He tells her how he cracked Vector's color-based way of hiding the numbers but he isn't going to give her the info. Nate tells her he's going to give the Vector client from the opening his money back, and then use the accounts to take Moreau on his own. "Our deal is over," he tells her defiantly before walking out. Once he leaves The Italian grabs the phone and tells someone "It worked. He's going after without us. Our hands are clean."Nate tells Sophie they have a chance to take out Moreau before he can cause any more damage. They toast to victory.

Logan International Airport, International TerminalNate catches us up, telling us they're close to one of Damian Moreau's guys, John Douglas Keller, who moves antiquities for Moreau.They think he'll be guarded outside the airport. Parker's going to switch his briefcase. Eliot's waiting to jump the guy, but he's dressed as a pilot and a little girl approaches him, asking where she's supposed to go. He escorts her out.As a customs guy, Hardison takes Keller's passport. Alarms go off calling security to customs. They swarm on the little girl, even as a man on the other side of security explains she has refugee status.Keller checks with his guy that the other 10 girls are coming in later that day, and decides she's an acceptable loss.Nate wants Parker to clone his phone and Hardison to tail him. He sends Sophie to talk with the little girl's family to get her home.Sophie and Nate talk to the immigration advocate, who knows the artifacts often go to drugs and terrorism.Back in loft HQ, they trace Moreau and Keller's illegal art importing scene. Keller's already back in London. The payoff in black market art is to wash it through legit action houses. Sophie's uncharacteristically upset about the whole thing. She storms out.Nate finds her downstairs drowning her sorrows. She's feeling guilty, that she might have accidentally be involved in black market art.He asks her if she wants to go to London. "Let's go steal an auction," she says.Sophie and Nate go to Claridge's Auction House, dressed like rich people. Hardison goes to hack the files in the office, but finds they're all hard copies. Keller comes in. Parker lifts his wallet, including his bidding card. Nate wants Parker to lift something from the vault to establish his credentials with Keller.Parker caresses the old style vault, waxing rhapsodic. Sophie finds Keller bought a signet ring, which she finds odd.Parker finds a Statue of Rah for Nate to borrow. Hardison finds two files on Keller, one of which has land purchases in Scotland.Nate introduces himself as a broker, which Keller understands he means smuggling. He shows him the statue, which he says is from a dig in Egypt. He says he needs a way to get the items to his buyer in America. Keller smells the statue, and then announces it's up for auction in two weeks, which means Nate's a con artist or a cop. Keller's goon slugs Nate.Sophie calls off Eliot from rescuing Nate, saying she has a new con. She introduces herself as the 18th Duchess of somewhere, Nate's employer. Keller kisses her hand. She reiterates the need to get things to America. He turns her down, but as he's walking away she offers him a knighthood. When he scoffs, she offers one of the lost baronies.She makes a date tomorrow for tea.Later, Sophie tells the team she spent seven years building her baroness persona and it'll hold. She explains the land buys were a play for a title and the ring clearly had an emotional attachment for him. There are 86 unclaimed baronies in England.Nate explains the name of the con is "the Mummy's Tiara," which involves using a forged relic to purchase a royal title.Hardison says they have a problem because they have no forger. Sophie tells him he'll be doing it. She explains he knew it was fake because it smelled like cinnamon, which was only used in Libya at the time. She gives them a shopping list.Sophie reports for her tea, over Nate's concerns. She tells Keller that if he were to have a private journal of the mistress of King George III, Catherine, he might have a good claim. He knows the legend, that she moved to America with a trunk of treasure.Eliot returns with oil, soot and other forging supplies.Sophie tells Keller the book is coming up for auction soon at Claridge's as a regular family heirloom. He says there's someone who wants to meet her. An old woman walks over. Nate tells her it's OK for her to leave if she needs to. The woman approaches Sophie and greets her with a hug and calls her "Charlotte."Back in the hotel room, Hardison has made juice from boysenberry juice and rendered glue out of animal parts.At tea, Keller takes a call as Sophie talks to her aunt. She asks where she's been. They reminisce about her dearly departed uncle William, who died eight years ago. Her aunt mentions how he turned to drink after she left.Keller returns from his call and says something from Boston has speeded up their timetable. He wants to move her stuff tomorrow.Later, Nate asks Sophie how real her duchess persona is. Nate tries to speed everything up.Eliot goes to meet Keller's guys to check out their storage area. They explain they need him to take them to Sophie's stash. Nate tells him to stall.Parker meets Nate after knocking out the auctioneer. She takes over the job.Eliot drives around, stalling Keller's goons.Hardison meets Nate at the auction house with the forged book. He tells Nate Keller's bid as to be at least $250,000 for him to be able to trace it back it to Moreau.They goose the bidding until Keller gets it for $300,000.Eliot finally reaches the storage locker with the three British goons.At the auction house, Keller sniffs the book and announces it's genuine. Then he says good bye to Sophie. He tells her he doesn't need her help; he spoke with the countess and learned about her "royal scandal."As for the deal... he calls his goons with Eliot and tells them to shoot him.One of them pulls a gun on Eliot, who quickly explains that the storage unit is empty to buy time. It gives him a chance to knock the guy out, take a belt off the other and use that to whip the third.From the airport, Keller checks in with Moreau on the phone, saying he'll be in Rome in two hours. Meanwhile, the customs guy opens the book box and tells Keller they'll have to detain him. They check his paperwork, which shows he bought books, not Russian icons.We see that the icons are painted in the lid and bottom of the box the book came in.Flash back to Parker going through the auction stuff and reporting on the icons and Nate also telling her to bring the icons.Back at customs, they point out his book is also a forgery and they'll be detaining him for that and the other items he tried to smuggle.Cut to the storage unit and the three goons hogtied with their belts out front. They say it's empty but the police open it up and find tons of art.Back in Boston, the girl is reunited with her family. First she thanks Eliot.Nate asks Sophie about the storage locker filled with stolen art. She tells him it was filled with the very first stuff she ever stole. He's happy to at least know her real name, but she tells him Charlotte was her stage name.Hardison has found 10 shell companies traced to Moreau's money, including Slapshot Productions, owned by Mark Vector, the hockey player who's in witness protection."Oh yea," Nate says, "let's go steal a federal witness."

In bar HQ, the Leveragers argue about an artifact on the news. The Dagger of Aqu'abi is jewel encrusted and on display in a local museum. It was stolen from that gallery five years ago. They're all claiming they stole it.They didn't realize they were all there that night. They agree to let Nate decide who stole it. Sophie claims she had the perfect plan, with a four month long con with two different identities."Grifter" Boston Museum of Art & Antiquities, five years ago One of her identities was as a baronness, who donated her own pieces to get them near the dagger. We meet Mr. Gladstone, the dagger's owner, and Coswell, the head of security. Gladstone mentions he's had several items stolen in the past few months and tells Coswell to keep sharp.Sophie doses champagne and sends it over to Robert Bioko, a blood diamond dealer, embezzler and allergic to shell fish.Sophie bumps into a young hot shot who introduces himself as Dr. Wes Abernathy, a surgeon. The power goes out momentarily and Bioko goes into his allergic reaction. Sophie volunteers the doctor to help him as someone shouts that his airway is closing.Sophie lifts Gladstone's keycard as Abernathy tends to him.Sophie sneaks into a storage closet and changes into her other identity, who wears a lab coat. She's Dr. Karen Ipcress from the restoration department. Cosgrove comes down to supervise the packing up of all the artifacts. He thinks Karen looks a lot like the baroness. Sophie swaps out the shipping labels on some items to have them sent to the baroness.She sees Cosgrove coming back with a shotgun and tells someone not to let Ipcress get away.She explains that the museum stole the dagger for her, by packaging it and shipping it directly to her in London. Cut to her getting the dagger in London, the perfect plan.Except, she explains as she paws through the box, the dagger wasn't in the shipment. "I did steal the dagger, I just didn't get to keep it," she says.Eliot has an explanation. Flash back to him bumping into her. He's Dr. Wes Abernathy.He explains how he did it. He stole it as a favor. "Hitter"Eliot fights off a guy with a knife and another guy who soon has that knife in him. He answers the phone of one of the guy's who attacked him. He knows it's a guy named Gutman calling. He's upset with Eliot because he failed to get something for him. He tells him about the dagger and says if he gets it, they're even.Back to the museum. Eliot gets in the back seat of the real Dr. Abernathy, telling him he needs his clothes and invite. We see Eliot running into Sophie, but in his memory she was hitting on him and had a horrible cockney accent. So she revises her story to make him more of a bumpkin with a corncob pipe.When the guy has his allergic reaction, Eliot tends to him and sees Sophie going through into the back. Eliot takes Bioko in back to lie down. After taking a pill to counteract the reaction, he's fine and in Eliot's debt.We see Eliot eavesdrop on Coswell's conversation with Sophie/Karen Ipcress, then he takes out a security guard and puts on his uniform. He's the person Sophie heard asking about Ipcress.Later, dressed as a delivery guy, Eliot gets the delivery box that's supposed to have the dagger in it. He takes out the box.Then Hardison points out Eliot didn't get the job done.We flash back to see him opening the box and finding a mug instead.Eliot said the guy he owed had a lot of enemies and he got caught in some sort of racketeering thing a few weeks later. This doesn't seem like news to Nate.Hardison giggles maniacally. Nate doesn't think it sounds like Hardison's type of crime, but he says the museum had a brand new computer security system and whoever cracked it first would be a legend. He just needed a trophy to prove he did it."Hacker" Hardison shows up as Robert Bioko, whose email he hacked to get his invite. He starts his phone working on the security system. He charms all the ladies in the crowd. He sees Sophie and Eliot all over each other. The power surge is the security system resetting. He still needs access to the mainframe.He collapses, asking for the back office. Sophie comes over thinking her allergic reaction kicked in and Hardison has to go with it. In Hardison's memory the knife Eliot was going to use to open his throat was a butcher knife. So he took a breath mint and played it off as medicine.Eliot lays him in the back and in Hardison's version he's creepy and playing with his knife. When Eliot leaves, Hardison gets into the computer and the shipping information. He changed it so it was sent to the storage vault.Then he has to wait for them to finish inventory and he can pick it up. Later, he tries to get into the vault and Coswell finds him, asking if he's seen Ipcress. The vault door he was working on opens and the security guard Eliot stripped comes out of a storage closet. Hardison puts Coswell and the guard back in and goes for his dagger.He gloats, saying that beat Sophie and Eliot and "nothing else matters." Nate asks what he means by that. Flash back to Hardison opening up the storage vault, but the dagger isn't there.Nate recaps that none of them had it. He looks at Parker, who looks very guilty."Thief" In Parker's version she's the waitress that Sophie stopped to send a drink over to Bioko/Hardison. She explains that her gear is under the refreshment table and she was waiting for a distraction so she can get downstairs. Hardison walks up and starts loading his pockets with appetizers. Sophie stops her to send the drink and Parker's version of her accent is total gibberish.Coswell stops Parker because her drink tray is empty. There's a power surge and Parker knows it's because someone punched a hole in the security system. Hardison collapses and Parker suggests his throat is closing up and hands Eliot a knife.Parker crawls into the storage room through the vent, but the door is locked. She's in the vent when Coswell is asking about Ipcress.A museum staffer logs the dagger for the vault and Parker watches him put it away. She puts the mug in the dagger box.When everyone is gone she takes the dagger from the vault and makes her escape through the ventilation shaft, heading for the roof. But instead of her gear in her back she finds Sophie's baroness dress.In the ventilation shaft, Parker runs into Coswell. He grabs for her and she falls, but the dagger falls farther.She didn't get it either. Back in the back, Sophie says Coswell was smart, maybe smarter than Nate. They start arguing again about who's lying when they realize Nate hasn't shared.He says the real question is who's the insurance company for the dagger.Now that he's heard their stories he knows what was happened that night."Mastermind"Nate meets Coswell before Sophie sends a drink to Bioko. In this version Coswell is not nearly as competent. He visits Ipcress downstairs and rather than interrogating her he's uncertain and flirting.Eliot still takes out the security guard, and he's pressed against the other side so Parker can't get out of the storage room.Coswell comes downstairs with a long box, not a shotgun. Coswell is upset to hear Sophie/ipcress has left because it's the last day she's working there and he doesn't want to let her slip through his fingers.Nate thinks the food poisoning is an odd coincidence for the last night of the show. Coswell gives Nate the long box he was carrying - long stem roses. Coswell is near tears over the loss of Sophie when he runs into Hardison trying to get into the vault.Hardison shoves Coswell into the storage room Parker was in earlier and finds Parker's climbing gear. Coswell goes into the ventilation shaft. He runs into Parker and she clocks him, then disappears, still dropping the dagger.Nate hears the noise and the dagger banging off the shaft, then it comes through a hole in the ceiling and into Nate's hands.Gladstone has already reported it stolen when Nate shows up with the dagger, which he promptly snaps in two. It's a fake. Nate's there because Gladstone has reported several things stolen in the last few months. They know he sells the real thing on the black market then stages a public theft to collect on the insurance.Gladstone begs with Nate for leniency. Nate wants the dagger back and the dealer who he sold it to. They'll go with the theft story so the dealer won't know the jig is up.The team wants to know what happened to the real thing.Flash to Gubman telling Eliot he needs the dagger for a friend. Nate's the one who took out Gutman, the dealer.Nate reminds them there's a reason they now work as a team. He plays the rest of the news report. The dagger is now owned by Nigel Hayton, CEO of Baron oil, the company responsible for the latest oil spill in US waters. The reporter asks him if displaying his wealth when people are losing their livelihoods to the spill is in poor taste. The snooty McSnootnipants Brit says sharing with the "little people" is a way to show he cares.Back in the bar, they call dibs over who gets to take him down and head off to steal the dagger again - as a team.

A shift changes at a coal mine and one supervisor tells another about a slightly high gas reading. The boss man (Bruce Davison) drives up and tells them to get to work.Hollingsworth notices the ground shaking beneath him and looks at the mine entrance in time to see it explode in a fireball. The boss man's only reaction is to tell his lackey to call his lawyer.Two Years Later Hollingsworth meets with Nate at bar HQ. He tells him he lost 12 men in the explosion, caused by a build-up of methane due to substandard ventilation. They just want safe working conditions.The CEO of the mine Dan Blackwell (Davison) received government money after the explosion for mine safety, but no improvements were made. Nate promises to find the money and put it to use.Up at condo HQ, Hardison tells the team that Blackwell put all his safety money into the political action committee (PAC) of West Virginia attorney general Debra Pierce. He's received more than 400 citations for safety violations in the last two years and Pierce holds up his appeals indefinitely.Nate wants to take them both down by convincing Blackwell his mine is valuable. "We're going to sell the guy his own mine," Nate says.In the mine, a kid named Corey shows Eliot to section C, a rickety unused portion of the mine.Sophie and Hardison show up as mine safety inspectors and Blackwell has his guy Clark show them around. Then Nate walks to Blackwell's office doing a gentlemanly huckster, complete with bowtie, offering to buy the mine.Blackwell blows him off and Nate leaves a card.At the state capitol, Parker prepares to go in.Flash to Sophie giving her grifting pointers, comparing it to bank robbery. She tells Parker to find Pierce's weak spot.Pierce (a Sarah Palin knock-off, complete with poofy hair) practices in the mirror. Parker comes in, with West Virginia accent, giving her campaign consultant pitch.Parker plants a bug and is hired when she volunteers to work for free.In the abandoned section C, Eliot talks to 18 year old Corey who is supporting his mom and sister after his dad was killed in the explosion two years ago.Flash back to Hardison prepping Eliot on a complicated gizmo that will allow them to communicate when he's in the mine. Eliot puts them in place and tells the "inspectors" Hardison and Sophie that section C is ready. Hardison pulls out something he says is reading dust and sees a high reading.Parker settles in at Pierce's, reporting that she's just raised $400.Flash back to Parker doing office recon, bugging everything and downloading Pierce's computer.Blackwell's guy Clark reports back on the fishy dust readings Sophie took. They are suspicious of them and Nate's offer coming on the same day.Sophie meets up with Nate at the diner Clark recommended. Blackwell watches in the corner.Nate knows they're being watched and says good-bye to Sophie, who is quickly joined by Blackwell. She tells him she's a mineral extraction expert. She says Nate owns land around Blackwell's. She says they're mining a mineral called colten that's used for cell phones and computers.She says using their process Nate will be able to mine the colten out from under Blackwell.Parker confirms with Hardison that she planted the forms he gave her.Blackwell calls Pierce to look for a mineral rights application from Nate. Pierce finds it. He asks her to lose it, but she says she can put it on the bottom of the pile.Blackwell calls Sophie, asking for a demonstration of her mineral extraction process.The next day Hardison scans a mine wall and says it's got lots of colten. Blackwell does a surface test in a small vial and it comes up positive.Flash back to Eliot putting colten dust on the walls.Blackwell thinks it sounds good, saying maybe he'll be able to lay off some of "these hillbillies."Nate does research into Blackwell's finances, finding he's given $500,000 to Pierce's PAC. They ask him for $600,000 and Blackwell says he'll give it to them the next day at Pierce's fundraiser.Nate tells Eliot he can leave the mine, but he doesn't want to leave the miners a man short for the day.Eliot chats with Corey, suggesting he learn how to work the machines for career advancement.Pierce checks her polling numbers and finds them way up. Nate wants it so she'll feel comfortable enough to turn over the PAC money.Pierce meets with Blackwell. Sophie and Nate listen in. Pierce refuses to give up the PAC money and suggests he use the mine's money instead, which would bankrupt the mine.He calls Clark, telling him to empty the mine and tell the men not to come in tomorrow. Nate tells Sophie his back-up plan: "We're going to convince him you're a lying greedy bitch."Outside the mine, Nate plans to get Blackwell in the mine so he'll stall blowing it up. He tells Blackwell there's no colten in the mine. Blackwell leaves Clark a message telling him not to plant the device.Sophie and Parker try to find a way to spook Pierce so she'll take out the PAC money. Parker's recon intel isn't exactly insightful. She mentions a closed door meeting Pierce had with Blackwell but it sounded like they were working out.Hardison pulls up the sound file and hears them doing it. Just the leverage Sophie needed.Down in the mine, Eliot looks for the bomb.Sophie sidles up to Pierce, referring to Blackwell as "Danny." She thanks Pierce for her contributions and mentions something Blackwell said last night, "or was it this morning?"Pierce checks her account on her phone and sees a $500,000 transfer pending. She thinks Blackwell has betrayed her on several levels.In the mine, Nate shows Blackwell how they faked the positive test.Eliot sees Corey's lunchbox and realizes he's still there and goes looking for him.The walls start shaking around Nate and Blackwell until one collapses and they're both knocked out. When they come to they realize they're trapped.Hardison can't get a signal from Nate.Pierce stops the PAC money transfer and tells Parker to get new locks on her door to keep Blackwell out.In the mine, Eliot finds Corey, who was practicing on the machinery. Eliot hustles him out.Pierce intercepts Sophie as she's trying to leave the fundraiser, telling her she's moving the money where no one can find it and cops are coming for her. Parker distracts Pierce long enough for Sophie to get away. Pierce calls the troopers and tells them to meet her at the mine.In the mine, Eliot and Corey run into Blackwell's guy Clark, who picks up a pick-ax. Eliot grabs one and they size each other up.Trapped in the mine, Blackwell reads the oxygen gauge and realizes they've only got about two hours.Eliot and Clark swing pick-axes at each other.Nate asks Blackwell why the intercom doesn't work. Blackwell says all the safety measures were faked and all the money went to Pierce. As Nate's looking for a way out, Blackwell hits him over the head with a board and knocks him out.Meanwhile, Eliot continues to fend off Clark and eventually knocks him out.Blackwell calls for Clark and Eliot helps him out from behind the fallen rocks.Blackwell comes out of the mine and is met by the troopers, who arrest him. Blackwell says Nate was responsible, but they find the detonator in his pocket.Flash back to Eliot finding the small bomb and turning it off, then slipping it into Blackwell's pocket as he helped him out form behind the rocks.Blackwell wants to know what caused the explosion.Flash back to Hardison prepping for the fake explosion with micro-detonators, surround sound, dust spray, modified oxygen meter.Then Hardison leads Nate on where to stand in the mine before he blows it down around him.The troopers put Blackwell into the back of their car with Pierce, who tells him they heard everything.Flash back to Nate fiddling with the intercom and Hardison telling him his comm is back on and they just need Blackwell's confession, then Nate asking Blackwell about the intercom.Outside, Pierce and the troopers hear Blackwell confess to funneling all the money to her.They drive off in the back of the car yelling at each other.Flash back to Parker asking Pierce at the fundraiser about guests wanting to make a corporate donation and Parker reminding her about a different PAC she set up. Then Pierce transferring funds into it.Outside the mine, Sophie reports that Parker got Pierce to transfer all her money away. "Yea, I nailed it," Parker says, "I'm a grifter. I grift."Eliot finds Corey outside the mine. Corey asks who he is. He says he was there to make the mine safe. Corey's upset Eliot is leaving. Eliot tells him to stay safe and submits to a man hug.In Blackwell's office, Hollingsworth meets with Nate and Eliot. Nate tells him the board removed Blackwell and is making him mine supervisor. They give him the $500,000 to help with mine safety. Eliot asks him to look out for Corey, and that has has a knack for the machines.The miners report for their shift.

They give him a red cell phone.In bar HQ, Andrei tells Nate and the crew that they just told him to answer when it rings. He installs and repairs telephone lines.Nate tells him to answer the phone when it rings. Hardison put a tap on it. There was one incoming call. Hardison calls it back. The head goon Pyotr answers. They track him. Eliot and Parker head there.From Condo HQ, Hardison reads the team in on Pyotr, an ex-military guy turned mafia. They lost $20 million in a bust by the police last month.At the Russian's warehouse HQ, they see a Russian mafia dude using a money counting machine to count wads off cash. Eliot knows their MO, they blackmail innocent people into committing crimes and taking the fall, then they kill them.Sophie and Nate tail four of them on the street.In the warehouse, Parker is searching through the Russians' SUV when the one counting cash hears her. He comes to investigate and runs into Eliot. They work out their issues with crowbars. Eliot wins.Sophie and Nate see where the Russians are heading: right to their bar HQ. They figure they reversed the phone tap and are now going for Hardison.Sophie and Nate go in the back of the bar and see it's set up with plans like someone else has been using it for HQ. The gang of Russians is in the front.The Russia mafia guy Eliot subdued takes out a red phone and says he still has it and will do whatever they want. He's not a bad guy, he's another victim.Nate goes to talk to the Russian's boss. "Hello, dad," he says.He tells Nate he got out of prison a while ago. He took the fall for the three families, but he's upset he got nothing in return. Nate tells his dad he doesn't want him running game in his town. His dad says Nate doesn't have what it takes.Flash back to dad teaching Nate three card monte and young Nate not being able to keep his eye on the queen.Jimmy tells Nate he's setting up in back but will be out by the weekend.Upstairs, Nate runs down Jimmy Ford, former bookie. He started out working for the McTeague family then he became a loan shark, then a fixer.They don't know what the red phones have to do with it. Simikov, the guy Eliot met, is in shipping and there's a third red phone they haven't traced yet.Nate tries to figure out what his dad is up to. Sophie suggests they sit it out, specifically Nate. He says his dad is just another mark.They get an alert that Andrei has gotten a call. Hardison explains they want him to install a black box in the police station so they can control alarms.Nate resolves that they'll help him. Sophie plays drunk and Detectives Hardison and Eliot take her into the desk sergeant saying she's from a prominent family and they need to keep her out of the press. Parker plays with the phones so Nate gets the desk sarge's call.They take her down to the drunk tank and rig the phones in the basement. Back outside, the Leveragers regroup to find Nate is gone.Cut to Nate in the back of the bar making a pitch to his dad to help him out. He shows him the remote he has to control the black box in the station. He tells his dad if he's going to pull a job in his town, he wants in.Pyotr is suspicious of Nate, but he mentions how he got a warden busted from inside the prison. They show him some of the plan.Back up in condo HQ, Nate shows the Leveragers the three banks. But Nate says they're not hitting any of them.Cut back to Jimmy laying out the plan. The cops will think all three are being robbed because they control the alarms.Nate sees it's three card monte, with banks. They have to find the real target.Eliot and Hardison will look for the third red cell phone. Nate's going to try to get his dad to trust him enough to plan a bank robbery.Jimmy tells his dad their next target is a guy with all the bank codes. He's planning to have his goons attack him, but Nate has a better idea. He tells his dad to limp. They ask the guy for change and Jimmy spills pills, as the guy is distracted picking them up, they take the papers they need from his briefcase.Sophie works her way into the bar's back room, pretending to have Russian parents to chat up Pyotr while Parker sneaks in the back to snap pictures of all the plans.Eliot and Hardison zero on the person with the other red phone. They run into the desk sarge at a coffee cart outside the station. The barista has the red phone.Back at the bar, Pyotr still isn't happy with Nate and waves his gun around again. Nate takes him on, much to Jimmy's delight.Later, Jimmy and Nate share a drink. Jimmy tells him he's planning one last job then he'll buy a boat and sail away to Ireland. The next day, Sophie tries to check that he's OK. Nate says he's the only one who can take him down. Nate goes downstairs to report on the day of the heist but his dad and all the plans are gone.Flash back to Nate getting socked by Pyotr and falling back into his dad and Jimmy lifting the black box remote from Nate's pocket.Nate rounds up the Leveragers, saying they have no idea what Jimmy's doing. Hardison says they have bar code label scanners, but why?They wonder if the coffee guy is being used to drug cops.Nate remembers his young three card monte lesson and all the distraction, then his dad berating him when he can't get it.Nate figures out where he's going. The trick to three card monte: the queen's never on the table. He asks where police keep evidence.Flash back to Hardison reporting the Russians lost $20 million in a bust last week.The cops get their drugged coffee.Jimmy sets off the bank silent alarms. All the cops head out.Driving to the evidence lock up, the cop with drugged coffee gets very sleepy and stops for Pyotr in uniform.Jimmy walks into the chaotic station saying he has an evidence transfer. Outside, Pyotr and his guys come in dressed as cops. The Leveragers pull up outside. Nate's looking forward to busting his dad.They bust into the evidence locker, they use their bar code scanners to find their stuff. They have a timer to tell them when the evidence door will lock again.Nate and Sophie go inside the department. Upstairs, Jimmy goes into the Organized Crime Division. He finds boards of evidence on the three families he went to prison for. He goes into their evidence safe and gets a betting ledger.Nate finds him and puts a gun to his head.Nate knew he wouldn't take the money and run, it's about respect. He thinks if he gets rid of the ledger, the case against the three families will go away and they'll owe him.Nate tells his dad the cops are coming for him. When Jimmy says he won't go back to prison, Nate points the gun at him again, but Jimmy doesn't think he can do it.Nate tells him to go. Jimmy leaves with the ledger.Outside at the evidence van, Eliot knocks out the Russian inside.In the evidence room, the Russians are finding only household goods on the scanners because Hardison is rigging them. The evidence locker door slams shut on them - Hardison rigged their timer, too. The real cops come for them.Later, Jimmy calls McTeague, telling him he's got the ledger. He calls the other families. They're not receptive. Then a car full of guys fires on him. Jimmy takes Nate's call, asking him what he's done.At the docks, Nate tells his dad he called the families and told them his dad stole the ledger, but he blackmailed them. Now Jimmy has a price on his head. Nate points to the boat behind him, telling his dad he'll be in Ireland in two weeks. Jimmy calls him ruthless and cruel and is finally proud of Nate."Enjoy your retirement," Nate says.

We open on a TV news helicopter following a car chase. The police pull over the driver and the millequetoast teacher protests that he didn't steal the truck. (Roll credits)The teacher meets with Nate at bar HQ. He says he bought the truck used from Penzer's a few months ago for his part time landscaping business and has been making payments, but when he took it in to the mechanics in New Hampshire the VIN came back fishy.Now the bank says he owes on the loan, the truck has been repossessed and he's been suspended from teaching because of the criminal charges (he ran because he panicked.)Nate explains it's car cloning: thieves steal a car then get a VIN from an identical car in another state. The teacher only got busted because he happened to take the car to a mechanics in the state the real VIN was from.The teacher bought it from Duke Penzer (Bill Engvall), a former race car driver. Parker explains that Penzer probably has a ring of car thieves working for him. She knows about it because she used to steal cars, that simple.Hardison has them set to go at Art's Auto Supply run by Art and Joy Bauer, down the block from Penzer's. They're on the verge of bankruptcy.Sophie visits them, telling them they've won a 10 day all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii from the auto club. The Bauers clear out and the Leveragers have their car front.At the race track, Penzer is upset to learn someone has just beaten his track record. Hardison rigs it so Nate's time looks good. Nate offers to race Duke for pink slips.Parker, Hardison and Eliot work on Nate's car. She's off to infiltrate the car thief gang. Hardison plans to use an EMP cannon that will knock out all the electronics in the car for 30 minutes -- Nate has to get in front of Duke and Hardison will trigger it.They race. Penzer takes the lead and Nate struggles to get in front of him. He uses Hardison's nitrous gas to zoom ahead and Hardison triggers the EMP. Penzer's car stalls and Nate wins.At Penzer Autos, Duke shows up to find his store empty of customers. Nate is set up at Art's and is raffling off Duke's car. Duke and his salesman go to check it out. They watch Sophie work on their repeat window shopper who never buys. She notices by his cinched belt that he's lost weight and compares driving the car to making love to a beautiful woman (neither of which he's done, he says). She closes the deal.Duke tells Nate he wants to buy his car back and offers $150,000. Nate turns him down. Eliot interrupts, saying their "foreign friends" are on the phone. Duke hears him speaking Spanish. Sophie tries to get Nate to sign some papers but he blows her off. Duke gets an idea - the one they wanted him to get - of how to get back at Nate.Meanwhile, Parker and Hardison show up at a chop shop trying to get the car thief ring boss' attention -- by stealing his car. They wait for Lefty to convince him he needs them. Parker mentions her early car thieving years, and how she got busted when her friends bailed and left her to take the rap.Duke waits for Sophie and asks her for a drink.Parker tells Lefty she wants to join his crew, then she brags she can steal an un-stealable car with a super high-tech alarm system in two minutes.They approach the car, when Parker tells Hardison she has no idea how to get in because it's electronic.Hardison has 90 seconds left. He works his computer wizardry via his smart phone and they get in. Lefty tells a teenage girl he calls Shorty to ride along with them to his shop. Parker clearly sees herself in Shorty.Duke brings Sophie to his office, where he offers to double her salary and asks how Nate runs his business. He soon infers that Nate's cars are stolen. Meanwhile, Eliot calls the police to report "unsavory characters" speaking Spanish by Penzer's.Then he gets out of his car with a baseball bat.Parker and Hardison arrive at the chop shop and find it's a huge operation. Shorty scans for radio alarm signals.From in his office, Duke hears car alarms go off. He comes out to find cars with smashed windows. Sophie says she'll call the police, but he doesn't want her to. She pretends to realize he's running the same stolen car scam as Nate. Duke calls Lefty.At the chop shop, Shorty tells them they're using car registrations for identity theft. She admires Parker as a girl car thief.Lefty tells Duke he heard Eliot's call reporting Spanish-speakers. They think Nate is working with the Salvadorans and think if he "loses" one of their shipments he'll have problems.Sophie wants to see Duke's operation, in return she wants to know when Nate's next shipment is coming in. She tells him tomorrow at the docks.Parker sees the guys in the shop laughing at Shorty and helps her jimmy a car lock. She tells Parker she has nowhere to go if they don't let her hang out with them. Lefty announces a big job at the docks tomorrow, he'll need everyone, even Shorty.But first, the Leveragers needs to steal the cars for Lefty's crew to steal. They get to boostin' at a golf course. At the shop, Parker tells Shorty not to go on the boost tomorrow and to avoid the shop.Cut to Shorty telling Duke and Lefty what Parker said. Duke realizes Nate's setting him up. He tells Lefty to steal the cars early, close his shop and bring the cars to his lot. Then he tells Lefty to kill Parker and Hardison. When Shorty objects, Duke tells her to "grow a pair."At HQ, the Leveragers don't seem to know that the jig is up and plan to meet at Lefty's and call the cops.Eliot pulls up with the cars at the dock and is greeted by Lefty and his goons. He throws the car keys in the air to distract the guys with guns and makes a run for it as they fire on him. He bounces off the hood of a car and rolls into the river. Lefty calls Duke, who is with Sophie. Duke tells Lefty he has something there he wants him to handle.Parker and Hardison arrive at the docks and notice no one is there. They're realizing something isn't right when guys come out with guns. Nate tells Sophie via earbud to get out of there but Duke pulls a gun on her. Duke gets a call and leaves Sophie. Parker and Hardison are caught. Duke comes back with Nate.On the docks, the bad guys have Hardison and Parker at gunpoint. But Parker and Hardison start laughing. Then the bad guys see why -- Eliot's behind them. He quickly knocks out the goons. They look around for a car and Shorty pulls up.They tell Nate via earpiece that they'll be there in 10.At Duke's, Lefty tells him the cars are on his lot. Lefty marches Nate and Sophie out at gunpoint as Parker races there. Parker yells at Shorty for telling on them then Eliot and Hardison yell at Parker for telling Shorty. Parker says Shorty deserved a chance.At Duke's, Nate whispers at Sophie to stall. She responds by kicking him in the shins and starting to yell at him to make a scene outside. In the speeding car, they ask Parker where she learned to drive. She was a getaway driver before she was a car thief -- and she started stealing cars when she was 12.Nate and Sophie are still yelling at each other at gunpoint when the alarms on the rig full of stolen cars on Penzer's lot start going off.Penzer starts turning them off with the keys as Lefty takes Nate and Sophie inside. The cops pull up. They traced the alarm signals there.Flash back to Lefty telling Duke he scanned the car and found no signals, then before that Hardison explaining to Eliot how to use the EMP canon on them to disable the alarms for half an hour.Penzer tells the cop the guy he wants is inside, thinking they'll get Nate. Instead, they go in and find Lefty out cold.Flash to the gang showing up at the back door, Eliot running in and knocking out Lefty and Nate and Sophie getting away.Later, Shorty asks Parker how they knew the cops would get there so fast.Flash back to the Leveragers stealing them from a charity golf outing -- of all police officers.Eliot tells Hardison (in case you were wondering) why he didn't earbud warn them about the bad guys at the docks -- because the EMP fried it.Sophie asks Nate to go easy on Parker since she at least thought she was doing the right thing when she warned Shorty. He wants her help.Nate meets with the teacher and gives him the keys to Penzer's race car. They suggest he could use some help with his landscaping business and introduce him to Shorty.They all sit down to a family dinner.

A man claiming to be from the IRS says he's there to collect on her back taxes and if she doesn't give him a credit card he'll come back with the sheriff and lock her out. She hands it over.Cut to Claire talking to Nate in the bar. The man wasn't IRS and he maxed out her card. Nate says the guy was part of a scam targeting tax payers and promises he'll get her money back.The Leveragers meet in condo HQ as Eliot whines about no time off. Hardison says the money traces back to a guy named Hugh Whitman at a debt collection agency. Nate thinks Hugh got a list of the people who owe taxes from someone at the IRS. Hardison says Whitman isn't anywhere on the 'net - like totally off the grid - but the money is at a tiny bank under the name Patriot Limited.Nate wants Eliot and Hardison to convince Whitman his money isn't safe at the bank and Sophie will hook him with a new place to stash his cash.Eliot's fired up about going to the bank in the boonies because they can finish up and go fishing. They go into the bank as members of the IRS investigation unit, saying they need records for Patriot Limited. A teller makes a call.Meanwhile, Sophie approaches Whitman at his office (where he keeps a grenade on his desk). She tells him his money isn't safe as the scammer we saw at Claire's comes in to tell Whitman about the "IRS agents" at the bank. Whitman tells him to have a guy named Chester take care of them.Whitman tests Sophie, mentioning a guy named Charlie Dean. Nate tells her to say Charlie is dead. Turns out he is. Sophie has Whitman's attention.Back in the boonies, Eliot and Hardison are out of range to update Nate by comm and are getting ready to fish. They're stopped in the parking lot by a group of dudes in camo with guns trained on them. Then Eliot and Hardison are in the back of a van, handcuffed. Eliot listens as they drive, making a map in his head.Sophie takes Whitman to his new bank -- a workout studio for women. Flash to Parker leading a spinning class until the ladies bail one by one. Meanwhile, Nate calls the manager to say a new gym is poaching his members. The manager comes out to see an empty gym and leaves.Sophie introduces Whitman to Nate. Nate says he has several franchises to launder Whitman's money and he'll provide records showing it's clean. But he wants an answer quickly. Whitman asks to see the records, saying he used to be a district manager with the IRS.Meanwhile, out in the woods, Eliot and Hardison seem to have been taken by a small anti-government militia. They call themselves freedom fighters. They think the two are really IRS and don't take kindly to it.A young soldier readies the boys for execution by putting Hardison on his knees. He tries to do the same to Eliot, who growls, "Ain't gonna happen, bubba." Hardison asks for a cigarette. Eliot watches the dozens of men stack up boxes of guns as a teenager puts a cigarette in Hardison's mouth and fumbles to light it. Eliot takes advantage of the distraction to take out the guy with a gun on them and the two runs for the woods as the militia brings out the dogs.Back in a cubicle farm, Parker calls someone to collect a balance, but sees it's for oncology. Instead, she hangs up and starts deleting debts as Nate checks in on comm to see why she's not at Whitman's office yet.Out in the woods, Eliot calculates where they are based on the van's earlier speed and turns. They're still cuffed together.Parker pokes through Whitman's office looking for his "super secret government document." She finds a book on a shelf that opens a spare room. It has various "patriot" items on the walls. Parker prints out the IRS files. She sees a wooden box like the one in the woods. She opens it and finds assault rifles. She tells Nate and Sophie via comm.She finds flags and tells Nate, who starts a line about the government being broken. Whitman bites. He tells them his money belongs to the revolution. He tells them he had those "IRS agents taken care of."Sophie and Nate blanch. They realize no one has talked to Eliot and Hardison lately. Nate tells Sophie he and Parker will find the boys and she can close Whitman.Eliot rubs stinkweed on them to get the dogs off their scent, then makes a fake trail. Hardison continues freaking out as Eliot assures him he knows what he's doing; he's done it before, but last time the guy he was handcuffed to was already dead.Nate gets through to them on comm for long enough for Eliot to say they're 17 miles north of town. Parker shows Nate photos from Whitman's office. They scan his map. Eliot and Hardison get a clear comm signal by climbing up in a tree. Nate tells them to head for train tracks a mile away. He's going to steal them a train.In Whitman's office, he has a question about profit sharing for Sophie. She says Nate handles that. Parker sits back down at her cubicle and Nate has her use the company's caller ID faking system to call the Department of Transportation and make it look like his call is coming from Fitchburg.He calls and says there are rocks on the tracks, then Sophie calls, then Parker. She reroutes a train. Nate tells the guys to look out for a beet train.Whitman and Sophie strike a deal. Eliot and Hardison reach the train and are waiting to jump on it when one of the young militia members stops them. Eliot disarms him easily and they knock him out. But Hardison asks Eliot what he smelled at the camp.Fertilizer and molasses, which can be reduced down for oil for a bomb. Eliot knows the bomb is only stable for 48 hours. Hardison says they have to go back and stop them. They miss the train.In the office, Whitman's No. 2 hears Parker talking to Nate and calls Whitman to warn him. The way Whitman says, "I see." is enough to warn Sophie that the jig is up. Whitman tell his man that he'll handle things on his end but by the time he turns around, Sophie is gone. She warns Nate. Parker hears on the comm. No. 2 man tries to grab Parker but is held up for a few seconds by other employees. By the time he reaches her desk, she's gone.Hardison tells Nate they're not the train as he and Eliot make weapons.Parker sets the elevator to automatic emergency protocol and they head for the ground floor, bypassing Whitman. Nate pulls the fire alarm and the three of them walk out.In the woods, Eliot sneaks up on hapless militia dudes and knocks them out. Hardison's trip wire trap takes out another guy, but suddenly they're surrounded.Whitman gets to the bank in the boonies saying he wants to make a withdrawal.Back at the militia HQ, Eliot says that while they think they have to kill for their own freedom, a real soldier would be willing to die for somebody else's.Hardison asks about his cigarette and Eliot points to nearby gas tanks, with a cigarette burning down as a fuse. The tanks explode, knocking out militia men.Whitman gets his money and gets in his Hummer and drives off as Nate watches.Eliot and Hardison wake up among the rubble and get away just in time for Whitman to drive up and see the bomb fallout. His guys are stunned but alive. Whitman tells them there's too much heat on the organization and he has to get out of town.Nate joins the boys in the woods. Hardison's pleased about making a bomb out of a Menthol light. Flash to him pocketing the matches and cigarette when the kid dropped them.Nate gets on their frequency and pretends to be ATF, saying they're on site and closing in but warning his non-existing troops not to touch their cooperating witness, Whitman.His guys hear and demand an explanation. He protests that he has their money and opens his briefcase, which has no money in it.Flash to Sophie, Nate and Parker ("Who knew a sedan could hit 140?") arriving outside the bank. Parker hides under Whitman's car and swaps briefcases when he puts his down to open his car door.Whitman's guys turn on him, saying they're going into town to get their money. They take him to the bank, which is now empty -- except for the FBI agents hiding to arrest them. They take all his guys into custody.They find internal IRS documents in his briefcase, Sophie and Parker join them in FBI gear. Whitman sees Nate and protests that he's part of it, too, but of course the FBI isn't listening.Later at the bar, Nate gives Claire the part time job of finding the names on the IRS list and getting them their money back.Up in the condo, Hardison and Eliot enjoy some fishing with hats, waders and chairs to go along - on a video game.

A young woman sings a plaintive country tune as her brotherstrums along on the guitar. Suddenly, two goons and a guy in a leather blazer bust into their house. The head guy reminds the kids he warned them not to talk to lawyers. They stomp on the brother's hands.Cut to the girl, Kaylin, talking to the Leveragers in their bar HQ. She tells them the guy was Kirkwood and he owns a record label that they've been writing songs for. Her brother will never play the guitar again. She and her brother got a bad deal and he pretty much owns them, even though he owes them hundreds of thousands in royalties.He offered to let them make their own record, but he took it when it turned out great.Up in loft HQ, Hardison briefs them on Mitchell Kirkwood (John Schneider), who had a one song career as a recording artist. They want to steal the digital masters, get Kaylin's money back and make sure Kirkwood doesn't come after them.Nate and Sophie both decide they need to use "the Fiddle game," which involves selling one for a lot more than it's worth.Kirkwood strolls into the Saddlebag Saloon where he immediately sees Sophie is at his regular table. He sits down at the bar next to Nate. Hardison makes his way to the sound booth where he checks out the sound guy's iTunes and finds he likes Brooks & Dunn.Parker twirls through the crowd picking pockets until she finds tickets to the show that night. She slips them under the door of the sound booth where Hardison uses them to get rid of the sound guy for the night.At the bar, Nate pretends to be a music manager and chats up a talent of his and a European lady who offered them $25,000 for the rights to a song. He points to Sophie. Kirkwood offers to talk to Sophie for Nate, you know, out of the goodness of his heart.Parker's still confused about what the fiddle is in this scenario. It walks through the door: Eliot.Above the crowd, Eliot admits he's nervous. Hardison says he's going to be able Autotune him as he sings.Kirkwood joins Sophie and introduces herself as Virginia Ellington. She leaves her stuff at the table as Kirkwood leads her on a tour. One of Kirkwood's goons goes through her laptop and cell phone, which make her look like a big music player.Backstage, Kaylin shows Eliot a few chords on the guitar by sidling up really close to him. She tries to put him in the right heart broken frame of mind to sing.Kirkwood's goon tells him Sophie's a record exec. She tells him one of her rappers wants to sample Kenneth Crane's song (Eliot).Eliot takes the stage and sings Kaylin's song. (Fun fact: Christian Kane actually has a country music career.)Back stage, Hardison tells Nate the Autotune isn't working, but Eliot's on stage doing just fine without it. Kirkwood's interest is piqued.After, he joins Kaylin backstage. She tells him he was amazing and hugs him. Then kisses him. He takes out his earbud.Kirkwood's goons come for Nate to escort him out. Nate asks for Eliot, but he can't hear because he's earbudless.The sound guy comes back to Hardison in the booth, peeved that the ticket he gave him is for tomorrow night.And Kirkwood makes a pitch to Sophie to intercede on the deal.In a backroom, Nate watches three very large men prepare to beat the tar out of him. Eliot finally puts his earbud backs in and rushes to Nate, but pauses to sign an autograph.Later, Kirkwood joins Nate to find his goons knocked out at his feet. Kirkwood throws him an envelope of cash.Later, they present the cash to Kaylin, just 10 percent of what Kirkwood is going to give them later at the studio when Eliot records. Parker will break in then and steal the digital masters.At Kirkwood studios, they prep for the arrival of major recording stars. An assistant meets Parker as a Bjork-like sensitive artist in a duck dress and Hardison as a blinged out rap star.Eliot is having some trouble getting to the studio because he's being followed by a pack of screaming teenage female fans. Via earbud he tells Hardison he's not happy about the publicity because there's a price on his head in three different countries, and possibly a fatwa. Hardison promises to take down the fan page.Nate chows down on a plate of ribs for breakfast with Sophie when Kirkwood finds them. She immediately gets in character and slaps Nate, then tells Kirkwood she knows he went behind her to buy the rights to the song she wanted.At the studio, Eliot and Hardison go to record as Parker goes to look for a "meditation room." Hardison keeps interrupting Eliot offering advice as Parker checks rooms in the studio. She swipes the assistant's pass to get into a secured room. She hears Eliot playing beneath her, which is weird because the studio is supposed to be soundproof. She finds the floor safe with the masters inside as the sound guy gives Kirkwood's goon the master Eliot just finished.Sophie has lunch with Kirkwood, who tells her he'll give her $100,000 for the rights to Kenneth Crane's song if she leaves Crane alone. He's thinking about getting back in the business using the song himself.After he leaves, Sophie tells Nate that Kirkwood, who's supposed to be buying the metaphorical fiddle, now thinks he is the fiddle.Meanwhile, Kirkwood gives his goon an order. The goon takes out a gun.Parker joins Hardison. They find the master for Krikwood's one song and find the artist's name is blacked out. Kirkwood stole it from someone and recorded it himself.Meanwhile, Parker and Hardison completely fail to notice Kirkwood's goon going after Eliot in the sound booth. They find that neither the master nor the single Kirkwood released are actually him singing. It's someone named Jesse Jenkins. As Eliot beats the tar out of Kirkwood's goon, Nate accurately guesses that Jenkins died under mysterious circumstances and Kirkwood was suspected but not charged.Back at the hotel, they realize they don't have Eliot's master. He goes to check on Kaylin. She's in tears, having just learned Kirkwood is taking her spot in the big music festival and planning to sing her song.Eliot asks the gang what they can do, but with the festival that night they think it's too late. He climbs on a motorcycle and takes off with Kaylin.Leaving the hotel, the team sees a crowd of Eliot's fans. They block Kirkwood's SUV, giving Eliot time to catch up. Inside, Kirkwood is practicing singing to Eliot's recording.At the festival, Sophie doesn't think they can stall Kirkwood. But Parker, still in her Bjork costume, takes the stage and starts doing vocal chicken exercises to delay things. Eliot and Kaylin pull up to the venue. Eliot confronts Kirkwood on stage with the curtain still closed and accuses him of trying to kill him the same way he killed Jesse Jenkins. But Kirkwood socks him in the gut, saying he won't confess in a room full of microphones.The announcer presents Kirkwood. He stars singing Eliot's song (in his voice) and gets one verse in before Kaylin starts singing acapela from the second floor. Then Kirkwood's whispered confession to Eliot is played over the loud speakers.Flash back to Kirkwood punching Eliot and whispering into his earbud. Kirkwood tries to leave, but Eliot stops him with the proper gut punch.Later, Eliot gets his master back as Kirkwood is taken away by police. Kaylin gets a lot of A & R guy's business cards. He gives the master to Kaylin, who invites him to Nashville with her. He kisses her but says he's too far down a road in another direction.The gang regroups after a job well done. Eliot wants to know how Nate took out Kirkwood's goons on his own. Sophie wants to know where Eliot was. A girl comes up to Eliot and he thinks she wants an autograph. But she only asks the time. So much for fame.

He knows about the drug trial she was part of. Ashley gets a call from a blocked number. The doctor leaves. He leaves behind a paper napkin with the word Arcadia written on it and several names.Ashley calls back the number on her phone and notices it rings to two guys in suits across the street. She runs, they follow. She runs smack into Hardison. When they flash a badge, he immediately knows it's fake. Eliot does not appreciate that they made him spill his coffee.(roll credits) Ashley tells Nate and Hardison her sister was in a trial for HT 1 and a week into the trial she suffered acute liver failure and died. JRP Pharmaceuticals said it was a freak accident and offered money. Her family turned it down. They sued, but lost because JRP said Lisa had a pre-existing condition.She's found nothing until Dr. Roberts contacted her. Ashley is grateful to Hardison for saving her. She gives Nate the napkin.Hardison runs the names and finds nothing. They've been erased. Parker watches Ashley jealously.Dr. Roberts worked for JRP until Pallagen Labs bought the company a few months ago.Eliot finds no one home at Dr. Roberts' apartment but finds a flash drive. Roberts was meeting with Darren Hoffman, who was trying to buy something from him for $200,000.Hoffman is the CEO of Pallagen labs.Eliot finds Dr. Roberts dead in his apartment, staged to look like a heart attack with an injection under his fingernail.Sophie and Parker find the other names from the napkin in the town of Arcadia. They're all dead.Back at the HQ loft, they learn from news clippings that 10 of the 15 people in the trial in Arcadia also died of liver failure. Hoffman had JRP records erased when Pallagen bought it. They think Dr. Roberts found something out and the $200,000 was an attempt to bribe him to keep quiet. Sophie and Nate settle on the con they'll use: the double blind.Parker strolls into a building in full drug rep mode. They're launching a drug called Vioplex.Flash back to Hardison settling up Parker's cover as Laurie the former cheerleader. Ashley listens in. Nate explains Sophie will make friends with Hoffman so when Parker gets dirt on him Hoffman will run to Sophie.At the hotel, Eliot waylays a woman from the FDA and passes her badge to Sophie, who goes to Hoffman and immediately flirts it up, saying she's from the FDA and soliciting a bribe. He bites.Nate explains to Ashley how Hoffman funnels bribes to doctors to get this drugs approved.Parker sneaks into Hoffman's office and copies files from his computer. Hardison scoffs at the encryption. Nate recognizes a drug compound. Pallagen has packaged HT 1 as Vioplex and plans to release it.Nate and Hardison look at who Hoffman bribed to get Vioplex through. They need evidence proving HT 1 and Vioplex are the same thing. They want to find the HT 1 vials and need the FDA woman to help stop approval of the drug. Eliot lays on the charm and convinces the FDA woman to stay, tossing out an escorted tour of Boston as bait.Parker gets into Hoffman's safe and scans some documents. Hardison gets a security alarm and tells Parker to hustle. Nate tells her to stay put til she gets what they need. She barely makes it out.Later, Sophie chews him out for putting Parker in danger and tells him he's off the rails, insinuating that the con with a drug company is reminding him of his son's death. She warns him to be careful or she'll walk.Up in HQ, Hardison tells Nate the vials are stored with a bunch of other vials and he doesn't know where they are. Nate thinks he can get Hoffman to lead Sophie to them. Eliot's fake date/sightseeing tour has left him exhausted and frustrated. He's had to walk the freedom trail...twice.Cut to Sophie sharing drinks with Hoffman. He expects that eventually people will die and they will have to pay fines. But until then, they'll make billions. He says he wasn't hired by Pallagen to cure cancer, he was hired to make money.Sophie fakes cold and he offers her his jacket. She answers her phone and wanders off. Nate joins Hoffman, introducing himself as a friend of Dr. Roberts who knows that HT 1 is Vioplex. He asks for $5 million and says he has proof. "You really should have kept those vials somewhere more secure," Nate says.Nate leaves and Sophie returns. She gives Hoffman back his jacket before he goes.Cut to Hoffman accessing a restricted storage area and opening a small case. The vials are all there. Zoom in to a button on his jacket.From HQ, Hardison admires the GPS enabled hi-def button camera. Flash to Sophie slipping it on his jacket before she gave it back.Hardison sends Parker to get the vials.Sophie returns to the company HQ and sees Hoffman making a call. Nate's phone rings. He agrees to meet with Roberts against the arguments of Sophie and Hardison. "I guess the rest of you are just going to have to get it done before they manage to kill me," he says.Back at the Vioplex launch party, Nate strolls in. Eliot keeps his eyes open for potential attackers, but before he spots any he's way-layed by his FDA date, who gently breaks up with him. She explains she wants a man who's more adventurous, not one who's married to his desk job. Eliot can't believe his ears.Hardison tracks Parker's progress toward the vials. She gets to the key pad and Ashley and Hardison don't have the code ready. They scramble to get it for her and she gets irritated with Ashley yet again.Inside, she tells Hardison she triggered the motion sensors. Nate warns Sophie to get out before Hoffman gets suspicious. Hoffman gets a call about the security breach.In storage, two security guys go to check on the vials. Parker locks them in but has to leave the vials behind. Sophie urges Nate to run. As he makes it toward the door a goon comes up behind him. Nate fends off the syringe but Hoffman's guys grab him.They take him to meet Hoffman, who gloats that Nate's thief didn't get the vials. He shows Nate the case that they're in.Nate offers to lower his bribe price. Hoffman says again how Vioplex will make the company billions. Eliot takes out Hoffman's goons outside the office.Nate tells Hoffman that actually, they got the vials and the box in front of him is empty. The Vioplex is in the champagne that Hoffman is drinking. He opens the case. It's empty.Flash to Parker switching the cases and then Hardison turning on the motions sensors so she can trigger them and bring the goons.Hoffman doesn't think Nate could have spiked his drink since he was watching him the whole time. The real FDA woman comes in and Nate shows Sophie on the security camera.Hoffman runs off and Nate gives the FDA woman the empty case. Hoffman runs through the crowd, knocking people's drinks out of their hands, warning them they've been poisoned with HT 1. The video screens show that the HT 1 compounds and Vioplex are the same.The FDA woman opens the case and finds that the vials are inside.Flash back to Hardison telling Parker the case is a trick case with a false bottom that made it look empty.Sophie and Nate watch news crews descend on Hoffman.Back at the bar, Hardison asks Ashley what she's going to do next. He gives her a list of all the families of people who died due to HT 1, then he gives her a big check from the FDA's whistle blower program.From across the bar, Parker sees Hardison and Ashley hold hands and grips her beer bottle so tightly it shatters. Sophie tells her she should talk to Hardison. Parker scoffs at the idea that she's jealous. "It's just that when I see them together, I don't like it," she says.Ashley hugs Hardison good-bye. Sophie leaves Parker and Hardison alone.Parker tells Hardison she needs to tell him something. "So the thing is, I think that maybe I might be having feelings, like weird feelings, for..." She nearly forms the word "you" but looses her nerve and finishes with "...pretzels."He scoots her a bowl. "Well, they're right here, when you want them," he says, clearly not just talking about snacks.

Wakefield Agricultural Corporation - 7 a.m.An alarm goes off, and Parker races through an upper floor followed by a horde of security guards.At home/HQ, Nate makes breakfast and has an early morning cocktail. Sophie (or whatever her name is) stops by. He asks if they're ever going to talk about their kiss. She tells him he's still working off the slap.Someone calls Nate telling him Parker's in trouble; she went into a building with a Steranko security system. Whoever he is can't help her, he's on the roof of the building across the street.Sophie takes a minute to be irritated, since Parker took an outside job. Sophie and Nate head to Parker's place.Sophie guesses the keycode -- it's her real name -- and still doesn't tell Nate. Parker's place is a cavernous warehouse with a bedroom set up in the middle of it. A board has the name Archie on it.The rest of the team shows up. Hardison explains Steranko is the toughest security system in the world -- it learns as it hunts. Nate looks at her plans, trying to guess what she's up to. Hardison says he can't crack it remotely. "So, let's go steal us a Parker," Nate says.At the building, we learn Wakefield does biotech research in wheat and corn. The CEO, Charles Rushin, avoided two takeover attempts. The lobby is the only way in.Inside security, Rushin, and a research doctor, Hannity, freak out about the break in. They won't let the security guy lock the building down because it'll panic investors. Instead, guards will go through the building comparing ID badges with retinal scans. It'll take 50 minutes.Sophie and Hardison go in as auditors named Emma Peel and John Steed, aka The Avengers. But no one catches it!Nate and Eliot find Parker's partner on the nearby rooftop. He's Archie Leach (the real name of Cary Grant!), the world's greatest thief. Two guys with guns come up behind them and Eliot takes them out. They were holding Leach hostage.Parker's helping because he's her father -- although he later explains he met her when she picked his pocket as a 12 year old. He taught her how to be a great thief.He tells Nate people forced him to break in to Wakefield by threatening his family and he called Parker just to consult, but she went in on her own.In an office inside, Hardison starts work on the security system as Sophie holds a meeting to create panic. She tells a boardroom of people that they're fired and keeps them there by getting each of them to explain why they shouldn't be.Hardison tells Nate he can't use the system to search for Parker because it'll tip them off. They have to wait for her to send up a signal.She comes out a ventilation shaft and puts on a lab coat, lifts someones ID, and sits down at a desk. Her cell phone signal is jammed. She calls Hardison. He tells her to get to cubicle 27.Nate finds Leach's blueprints have the company watermark, which means they're from inside. Sophie notices that Dr. Hannity is calm amid the chaos. They realize an inside job means Parker is a loose end and they'll kill her if she's caught.Hardison sends Parker an earbud via interoffice mail.They find a hole in the security in the CEO's office.Hardison finds Dr. Hannity lost the company $60 million last year. Nate tells Sophie to let everyone but Hannity go and make her very angry. Sophie needles her about her spendy wheat. She tells Sophie she developed a wheat resistant to a blight. She implies she's going to spread the blight because they'll have the only wheat resistant to it.Nate realizes Hannity forced Leach to steal the blight so she could spread it.Leach tells Parker to run for it while Nate tells her to stay put. She's stuck in a severance good bye party. Nate sends her to the CEO's office on the 37th floor. Eliot is outside it on a window washing platform. But she realizes Hannity could just retrace her steps and get the blight out and it could cause famine. Nate gives her the go ahead to go back. Leach thinks he's going to get her killed.Parker walks into a security guard but Eliot's there to knock him out. Hardison clears a path but they run into more security. Hannity confirms Sophie and Hardison are fakes. She wants to get Parker, then them.Hardison clears Parker a path, but the Steranko system has finally locked him out. Eliot lifts a guard's retinal scanner, and he and Parker use it to get into the biohazard vault. The hazmat alarms go off. Outside, there's a rush of police and news crews. Nate enters the building in a hazmat suit and hands one to Leach. Hannity and the security guy go to intercept the team getting off an elevator.They walk four people in hazmat suits to an empty floor. Leach takes his mask off and is holding the blight container. Hannity explains how they going to kill them all and use the police for cover. The other three hazmat suits takes their masks off. It's a news crew.Flash to Nate asking Hardison to trigger a hazmat alarm. Then telling a TV reporter about Hannity's plan and handing them hazmat suits, assuring the reporter the alarm is a fake and a Pulitzer-winning story awaits her.Cut to the team taking the window washing cart outside to safety.Leach says goodbye to Nate, then Parker. He tells her he wishes he could have taken her home, but she says she wouldn't have fit in with a real family. He tells her she went out and made her own. She lifts his wallet for old time's sake.

He's shutting it down when two masked men break in and knock him around and steal the computer.Cut to that guy, Cyrus Modavi, meeting with Nate and Hardison in the bar. He tells them he was days away from cracking Manticore, an electronic surveillance system that the Iranian government uses to track protesters.They're planning a protest in Iran next week and he thinks if they can't shut down the system the organizers will be hunted down.After he leaves, Hardison argues toward taking the case.Hardison and Eliot go check out the cafe they hear is the local hangout for the Iranian secret police, posing as health inspectors. They see a man lock a room in the back when they walk in. Parker accesses it through the air duct. She links up to their computer. Hardison looks at the info on his laptop and doesn't see Cyrus's info. Parker finds a ledger with payments.The latest one was to Larry Duberman.Back at HQ, Hardison explains he's an expert on digital database security. Eliot makes Sophie some tea, earning a soft touch on the arm. Duberman is essentially the IT department for the Axis of Evil.If they shut down his server here, it'll shut down Manticore over there.Parker asks about the tea pouring and Sophie fesses up is was subtle mind games.At Duberman's company, Eliot bumps into Duberman with a bonzai tree and Parker and Hardison come to clean up the mess - also also lift his prints off the plant and swipe his ID card.The hallways are lined with fancy Japanese art but the office is an 80s throwback with high school posters and gimmicks. Duberman is running Manticore from his high school computer. This explains why Hardison couldn't get in from the outside.His people are alerted to the computer breach and come running but Parker and Hardison get away.They buy a copy of high school yearbook. All of his computer passwords are high school references, to a locker combination, a teacher and a crush.Nate explains the practice of a Roman Room, a memory trick. They need his final password but have no way of hacking it. Duberman's class is having a reunion in eight months. Sophie works the phones and gets them to move it up to this month.Duberman video conferences with the man from the Iranian cafe, telling him he wants double payment or he'll turn over info to the FBI.Larry takes a call from Sophie, his reunion committee. He'll be there.The team decks out a high school gym. Eliot waits outside Duberman's company to break in and enter the final password when they get it.Sophie pretends to be a classmate and chats up Larry. Then Nate arrives as Drake McIntrye, a laid back hippie. He's clearly a peer favorite. He calls Larry "Doucherman." Hardison feeds Nate info so he can blend.Sophie walks with Larry, reminiscing. Hardison passes a name on to Eliot and it unlocks the payroll files in the computer. But it's not the one they need.Nate joins them and tries to get him to talk about more good times but is interrupted by an old conquest who wants to relive past glories. Her name is Nikki and Hardison tries to look her up in the yearbook. She takes him to a supply closet to make out and locks him in when he turns her down.Eliot's still waiting for passwords in Duberman's office when someone starts cutting through the door with a welding torch. It's the Iranians.Parker frees Nate. Nikki returns for Larry and dumps her drink on Sophie to get him alone. Hardison is still searching for Nikki in the yearbook and comes up empty. Then he finds that she's a hired assassin. They split up to look for Larry.Back in his office, Eliot fends off the Iranians with a chess trophy."Nikki" takes Larry to the locker room to make out then pulls a gun on him. Sophie whacks it away with a fire extinguisher and fends her off.Nikki catches up to them in the hallway and Nate steps between her and Larry and stalls her until Parker can sneak up behind the assassin and zap her with a stun gun.Larry thanks Nate for saving his life and says he wasn't the meanest to him in high school, Pat Brander was. When Nate refers to Pat as "he," Larry picks up Nikki's gun and asks who is is. Pat was Patricia.Nate tells him what they're up to and Larry remotely changes his password on his phone to Badger85. Nate tells Eliot via earbud that it's done and he finally fights back against the Iranians. He enters Badger85 and gets in to Manticore and kills it.Nate explains how they subliminally pushed Larry around using Sophie's neurolinguistic programming techniques. Flash back to the numbers 8 and 5 everywhere and Nate and Sophie saying "bad" or "badger" a lot. Larry runs off after realizing they hacked his mind.Larry is stopped by the FBI in the high school gym and dragged away as all his old classmates watch.Nate tells Sophie the FBI got an anonymous tip and the ledger from the cafe, so Larry's looking at a lot of time.Cut to Cyrus talking to his family back home via webcam, excited about the upcoming protest.As Nate and Sophie are leaving, their alter egos are voted king and queen of the reunion. The lights lower and Sophie and Nate dance in the high school gym. He asks her if she thinks they'd have been a couple in high school, Nate Ford and...Sophie still won't tell her name.Parker lowers from the rafters and joins Hardison for a dance, too.
