A man checks into a hotel and then goes out onto the ledge. People then start gathering below to see what he will do. The police are called in. The man says he will only talk to Detective Lydia Mercer, a police negotiator. Mercer's last negotiation didn't end well. When she arrives the man refuses to come in. They eventually learn he's a cop who was convicted who stealing a valuable diamond, which he denied. It seems he just escaped from prison and he says he's trying to prove his innocence.

I have to say that I was very much suprised by this movie. I did not want to see it at all, and I am glad that my wife forced me to watch it. It was a great movie with many twists. Great Quality, well worth the download! A+++++

New york city based movie that is watchable and enjoyable. Very good actors and suspenceful. I expected less and turned out to be pretty good. A decent download.

It doesn't spend enough time on its ledge to be the definitive 'jumper' movie the title promises, but it’s a hoot if approached in the proper mood. Bonus marks for the street crazy who explicitly states the political subtext and plays a key role in the climax.
