Storyline

A policeman takes his twin brother's place and inherits his problems and a beautiful girlfriend. He is forced to kickbox his way from France to the U.S. and back while playing footsie with the FBI and Russian mafia. Not just muscles with a badge, the policeman must find the answers to some tough questions, none harder than what the heck is an accordian player doing in a sauna.

«Maximum Risk» is a 1996 action. When French cop Alain Moreau (Jean-Claude Van Damme) learns that the slain twin brother he never knew, Mikhail, was a criminal who had some juicy information on the gangsters, FBI agents and drug dealers in his world, he decides to seek vengeance for his sibling's death. Taking on his brother's identity, Moreau soon hooks up with Mikhail's girlfriend, Alex Minetti (Natasha Henstridge), and the two work together to bring down Mikhail's killers. «Maximum Risk» directed by Ringo Lam.
