Biography:

Peter Porteous trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama which, when he was there in the 1950s, occupied premises in the Royal Albert Hall. He made his London theatre debut in 1960 at the Aldwich Theatre in Brouhaha, playing opposite Peter Sellers, Lionel Jeffries and Leo McKern. He played a pygmy, blacked up and wearing a kilt!
