Piter Marek began his stage career in the third grade, playing none other than Christopher Columbus in his elementary school's production of "The Discovery of America." Piter Marek began his stage career in the third grade, playing none other than Christopher Columbus in his elementary school's production of "The Discovery of America." He went on to play Mr. MacAfee in his high school's production of "Bye Bye Birdie" among other roles and landed his first professional job as an extra in "Scent of A Woman." Since then, this striking and soulful actor has appeared in such productions as "King Lear," opposite Kevin Kline, at the Public Theater, "Cyrano" at the Richard Rodgers Theater on Broadway, alongside Kevin Kline, Jennifer Garner and Chris Sarandon and Shakespeare in the Park with Sam Waterston, Andre Braugher and Michael Stuhlbarg.Marek's television credits include a lead role on the critically acclaimed limited series "The Grid," a recurring role on the Emmy award winning hit show "Ugly Betty" and feature roles on "Law & Order" and "The Sopranos." He several times appeared on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien Show," "The Colbert Report" and in the very first episode of "Chappelle's Show." Most recently, he landed a role in the upcoming "Sex in the City 2" movie.For the last eight years, Marek has regularly contributed his voice to "The Late Show with David Letterman," Grey Goose and Moto Guzzi. Commercial credits include Black and Decker, Home Depot, Cortaid and Audi, and he also recently forayed into the world of book narration.Of Lebanese descent, Marek grew up on Long Island and graduated with a degree in theater from Queens College.
