This movie has its funny moments, but it\'s just plain vulgar at times as well. SBC just goes too far over the top with this one, which is rather a shame because the movie is basically a good idea. Borat is much funnier than this one.
Not one to be watched with anyone who is not VERY broadminded. Not as funny as Borat. Seems to be intent on shocking rather than entertaining. Some VERY funny bits which you will remember for ever. Watch Bruno before this if you can.
I haven't laughed so much since Borat. With "Bruno", Sasha takes his trade-marked mocumentary even further. Don't miss the extended and deleted scenes (they add a good 1/2 hour to the movie), and the commentary.
That said, it's uproariously funny; Sasha Baron Cohen is a true genius; his movies are very, very funny and enlightening. At some times, it's shocking; for example, 4 minutes in, you might want to skip 1 minute or so; it's shocking in another way during the child...
