highly recommended, characters beautifully chosen, played very nice, the story follows history line quite closely (of course some dramatic interpretation applies..)

\'I Claudius\' was decadent, but when it was made you could not do what \'Rome\' does - with nudity and violence used as an occasional emphasis in the political and personal intrigues. Great TV, and absorbing entertainment. One of the best Series of the last decade.
