After the passing away of her parents, Radha gets adopted by Badrinarayan Chaturvedi. Her childhood was spent with Badrinarayan's nephew, Siddharth, and the family planned to get them married after they mature. When Siddharth grew up, he re-located to America. When the time came for him to return, Badrinarayan started to make preparations for the wedding, but ended up being surprised when Siddharth is accompanied by his wife, Avni. Due to his ancestry, Siddharth undergoes a formal coronation ceremony and moves into a huge manor. Avni starts exploring the manor and finds out that there is an entire floor that is under lock and key. She gets a key and enters the forbidden floor and unleashes a vengeful entity and a series of incidents. The family suspect Radha to be the perpetrator, prompting Siddharth to summon his seemingly bumbling Pyschiatric pal, Dr. Aditya Shrivastav, to shed some light into this seemingly occult mystery that will soon endanger everyone's lives.

In present-day interviews, Larry's family talks about him, while writers, reporters, and clients talk about the club. Mixed with these interviews are still photographs and archival footage of the club, Larry's appearances on talk shows, and newspaper articles. By the late 70s, the club was in full swing, with talk of Plato's Retreats in other cities. By the end of the decade, tax problems had Larry in trouble with the IRS and changing mores gave the club a different vibe. Then AIDS became an epidemic.

Starting with just a few boys in a rented house, Father Flanagan eventually establishes Boys Town on 200 acres of land 10 miles outside of Omaha, Nebraska. Much of the film focuses on Flanagan's attempts to influence one boy, Whitey Marsh, who will become a hoodlum if he doesn't change his ways. When Whitey is implicated in a bank robbery, it puts all of Boys Town at risk. Throughout it all Flanagan has to fight prejudice in those who believe delinquents should just be locked up and the never ending shortage of money to accomplish his goals.
