Storyline

«Summer Catch» is a 2001 romantic comedy. Freddie Prinze Jr. is a blue-collar boy who dreams of becoming a Major League baseball player. Dreams aside, he makes it to "second base" when Jessica Biel (a rich girl visiting Cape Cod for the summer) falls hard for him. What's more, there's friction galore between Prinze's townie friends and members of his baseball team - talented college kids who descend on the Cape each summer. «Summer Catch» directed by Michael Tollin.
