The Wonderful and magical plot gives way to awe and wonder as things transpire which make you think of a parallel world that we even currently assimilate with today. Great beginning movie of the series!

I got into it more when I watched it again. The books are still better but you can appreciate the costuming and makeup in this movie.

Throughout the movie, there is always a feeling of 'this happens and that happens' but somehow it feels a bit lacking in substance, and I found my attention wandering at times thoughout the film.
