The girls, other Playmates, and Hef appear in a commercial for "Guitar Hero 5" filmed at the Mansion. Later, Crystal goes to San Diego to tell her mom, Lee, that she is taking singing lessons. Lee tells Crystal about when she was in a band with Crystal's dad (who died a few years back) and plays her a tape of one of her dad's songs. Later, the girls go to Mary O'Connor's house to have dinner with her and her friends. Crystal tells them of her desire to record her dad's song to give to her mom, prompting Frances, one of Mary's friends, to tell Crystal that she is married to Smokey Robinson. Later, Smokey himself comes to a recording studio to listen to Crystal sing. He tells Crystal that her singing is not bad and that she should believe in herself and keep it up. After Crystal completes her recording of her dad's song, Lee comes to the Mansion, and Crystal arranges to have the song played as they watch a montage of their family photos.

Bridget comes back to the Mansion because she is organizing a fashion show for an animal rescue charity and the girls will be among the celebrity models. The twins show Bridget their room, which was formerly Bridget's bedroom, and they talk about how the room has changed. The girls try on outfits for Bridget. On the night of the fashion show, the twins are surprised to find that they are scheduled to appear on the catwalk separately, but they manage to get the schedule rearranged so they can walk together. Meanwhile, the girls are inspired to do something of their own for charity. They decide to operate a lemonade stand to benefit AIDS Walk L.A., hoping to raise $15,000. They try making lemonade in the Mansion kitchen, but they have difficulty making an adequate quantity or quality of lemonade. Hef offers to donate packaged lemonade for their stand instead. The girls set up their stand at the Mansion gate, but they have difficulty attracting customers at first. However, they put a notice out on Twitter and some of their Playmate friends come to join them at the stand. Eventually tour bus passengers and other customers stop by, and the girls have success selling Minute Maid lemonade and Playboy-logo bottled water and collecting donations. Combining what the girls collect at the stand and online, they raise about $4,000, which Playboy matches, enabling them to donate about $8,000 to charity.

The girls attend an event celebrating Playboy's 55th anniversary and Dasha Astafieva, the 55th anniversary Playmate. The twins express some concern about Dasha's etiquette on the red carpet. Later, Hef is invited to be an honored guest at the Sanremo music festival in Italy. The girls are excited to accompany Hef to Italy, as this is the first major trip they have taken with him. The twins learn from their grandmother that they have cousins in Italy that their branch of the family has lost touch with. Hef, the girls, and their group fly to Rome first. From there, they take a day trip to Roccaraso, where the twins' cousins live. The whole group enjoys a seven-course dinner with the twins' relatives, and later the village mayor arrives to greet them. Back in Rome, Dasha arrives to join the group. She presents Hef with a painting of herself with Hef, which the twins consider inappropriate. The group flies to Sanremo for the festival, where Hef is interviewed on stage in front of a large audience, with the girls and Dasha standing by. Later, the group goes to a party celebrating the relaunch of Playboy's Italian edition. Referring to Dasha's forward behavior, Crystal says that she's glad that Dasha lives thousands of miles away from them.

After seeing the test shots taken of many potential Playmates, Crystal decides that she also wants to test to become a Playmate. Despite being Hef's girlfriend, she has to go through the same test process as all other candidates. She is unsure whether she will be selected, since not all of Hef's past girlfriends have become Playmates. Her test shoot goes well, though, and Hef informs her that she will get to be a Playmate. Crystal goes back to the studio for her actual centerfold photo shoot, and Hef and the twins drop by during the photo session. Later, Hef, the girls, and friends go out to dinner to celebrate Crystal's being named the December 2009 Playmate. Meanwhile, the twins get the opportunity to play dancers in a movie directed by Sofia Coppola. They need to learn to pole dance for the role, so they go to a dance studio for a lesson, and later have to practice for hours to learn a choreographed routine. Sofia Coppola comes to the Mansion to see the twins do their pole dance, and she is suitably impressed. Also, Crystal and her mom start a garden in the Mansion's backyard.

The girls disguise themselves as tourists and take a Hollywood bus tour. When the tour arrives at the Mansion gate, they try to see if security will let them in, but they are turned away until they remove their wigs and reveal their identities. Later, the girls decide to camp out overnight in the backyard of the Mansion, along with their friends Anna and Melissa and Playmates Kayla Collins, Hope Dworaczyk, Jaime Edmondson, and Kimberly Phillips. Their original plan is to do everything for themselves, but they wind up needing help from the Mansion staff. During the evening, Hef joins them for s'mores and to discuss the alleged ghosts of the Mansion, and then returns indoors. The girls and their friends entertain each other with ghost stories and a Ouija board. Due to the cramped conditions in the tent, most of the campers eventually abandon the campsite and head indoors, but Crystal and the twins plan to stick it out all night -- until the sprinklers come on.

After watching a video of a Mansion roller disco party from 1979, the girls decide to hold their own roller disco party in that style. Looking for advice on what to wear, they first ask Norma of the Mansion staff, but Norma refers them to Barbi Benton instead. Barbi has saved her outfits from the 1970s and agrees to come to the Mansion to show them to the girls. Barbi arrives with her daughter Ariana and lots of clothes. They find that most of Barbi's outfits don't fit the twins, who are seven inches taller than Barbi. Barbi notes that she has seen many of Hef's girlfriends come and go over the years, and that the twins are younger than her daughter Ariana. Nevertheless, she and Ariana get along well with the girls. A skating instructor comes to show the girls some roller disco moves. The day of the party arrives, and the Mansion tennis court is filled with roller-skating, bikini-clad Playmates, friends, and Mansion habitu?©s.

Hef's new girlfriends introduce themselves. Crystal, from San Diego, is the new #1 girlfriend. Karissa and Kristina, from Florida, are twins with very similar personalities. The twins, who share the centerfold in a double issue of Playboy, film a Playmate video at the Mansion. Later, the twins go to Las Vegas to sign autographs for their issue at the Playboy Store. Afterward, they meet up with Holly Madison and visit Madame Tussaud's wax museum. At the museum, they are surprised when what they think is a wax figure of Carrot Top turns out to be the comedian himself. Kristina and Karissa stay at the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms while awaiting Hef and Crystal's arrival in the city; they all plan to see Holly perform in the production "Peepshow" and go to dinner with her.

Holly suggests to Bridget that they ask Hef if they can do a new set of pictorials for Playboy. They go to see him when he is with his male friends. At first Hef is uncertain about whether the girls should do another pictorial, but Holly asks Hef's friends, "Who wants to see us naked again?", and they all raise their hands. Hef approves the pictorial, and Holly makes arrangements for the cover. Each of the girls poses separately in front of a different part of the mansion, and the print run will be split among three different covers, each featuring one of the girls. Holly poses for her pictorial in the Mansion pool, mostly underwater; Kendra poses at the beach; and Bridget's pictorial is based on a circus trapeze theme. Later, at the Mansion 4th of July party, Bridget does her trapeze act for the guests. At the end of the party, fireworks go off. As the episode ends, Bridget, Kendra, and Holly comment on how they have grown as people during their years at the Mansion, as clips from past seasons of the series illustrate their experiences.

Bridget is planning a series for the Travel Channel about beaches and needs to be certified to scuba dive, and so all three of the girls learn to scuba dive. First, an instructor comes to the Mansion for the lecture portion of their instruction, and then shows them how to scuba dive in the Mansion pool. They find that the most difficult portion of the instruction is flooding the mask -- that is, intentionally allowing water into the mask and then blowing the water out. Later, the girls go to Santa Catalina Island to practice more there. Finally, the girls are taken out on a boat for their certification test. Their first attempt at a dive does not go well, but they make another attempt and successfully achieve certification. Hef, along with a group of Playmates, comes to the pier to join the girls to celebrate on the boat.

Bridget has the chance to do her radio show from New Orleans during Mardi Gras and invites Holly and Kendra to come along too. Bridget arrives in New Orleans before the others and appears on a local television news show to promote a charity event that she and the other girls will be participating in to rebuild the city's Lower Ninth Ward which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Holly is the next to arrive. The two of them go to the House of Blues for the charity event and wait for Kendra to arrive. Kendra shows up in time to join the others on stage for a charity auction. The next morning, both Bridget and Kendra feel sick, and Holly goes out to bring back beignets for them. Bridget eventually feels well enough to do her radio show, and by the evening Kendra is able to get out of bed to join the Mardi Gras partying. The girls throw numerous beads from their hotel room balcony to the crowd, and enjoy the party until midnight when the police and sanitation crews come to clear the streets of the French Quarter. Before leaving New Orleans, the girls take a bus tour of the Lower Ninth Ward and see the damaged and destroyed houses, many of which remain unrepaired two and a half years after the hurricane.

Hef reads Holly a letter from Carri, a fan of the show who would like her daughter Morgan to be invited to the Mansion as an 18th birthday present. Bridget calls Carri and they arrange to set it up as a surprise for Morgan. On Morgan's birthday, Carri takes her to the hair salon, where Bridget happens to be getting her own hair done. While they are still at the salon, Holly drops by in a limousine and invites Carri and Morgan to come with them and take a tour of the Mansion. When they all arrive back at the Mansion, Kendra and Hef greet them, and Hef reveals that everything had been previously set up. The girls take Morgan on a tour of the grounds, and later everyone has birthday cake. Later, the girls celebrate Mother's Day by inviting their mothers and grandmothers for a spa day. Accompanied by Hef's secretary Mary O'Connor, they all go to Jonathan Baker and Victoria Fuller's spa for massages and facials. In the evening, Hef joins the group for dinner at a Japanese restaurant.

Hef has decided that all the remaining candidates for 55th Anniversary Playmate will become Playmates, although only Crystal, Dasha, and Hope are still in the running for the anniversary honor. Holly, Bridget, and Kendra take the future Playmates to Knott's Berry Farm to ride the roller coasters. Later, in turn, Hope, Dasha, and Crystal each go to Playboy Studio West to shoot their centerfolds, with Holly standing by to evaluate them. Holly is pleased by all three of them and satisfied that she surpassed her expectations in terms of finding a potential anniversary Playmate. Holly and Hef review the three centerfold photos, and then Hef makes his decision - Dasha will be the 55th Anniversary Playmate. Hef and Holly present her with a necklace representing the honor, which Dasha describes as a dream come true. Later, everyone goes to a club to celebrate Dasha's selection.

Holly and Hef have narrowed the candidates for 55th Anniversary Playmate to Crystal from Chicago, the daughter of a Playmate from 1968; Dasha from Ukraine, who has already been a Playmate in her homeland; Kristina and Karissa, twins from Clearwater, Florida; Jessica from Orange County via MySpace; and Hope, a television host from Texas. All of them come to stay at the Playmate House across the street from the Mansion while they take their test shots. Most of them arrive on the same day, have dinner with Hef, play pool in the game room, and go skinny dipping in the grotto. The next day, most of the candidates are photographed for the tests, with Hef dropping by occasionally to praise them. Hope arrives as well; her television schedule prevented her from arriving earlier. Holly, Hef, and the candidates go out to dinner at Ketchup, and the next day Hope takes her test shot. Holly and Hef review the photos soon afterward, because they have to narrow the choices down to three while the candidates are still at the Playmate House. Hef makes his selections for the top three: Crystal, Dasha, and Hope.

Holly, who can't swim, stays back at the Mansion and gets a swimming lesson from Amanda Beard, the Olympic swimming medalist and Playboy model. The girls are invited by Prince Albert II of Monaco to attend the Monte Carlo Television Festival. Before they go to Monaco, though, they go with Hef to Paris, then to Saint-Tropez for Kendra's birthday. In Monte Carlo, they stay at the Hotel de Paris, meet other television stars who are in town for the festival, and visit the casino. One night, Bridget and Kendra sneak out to go to the palace in hopes of meeting the prince. Instead, they get arrested. They are released soon afterward, and there are no significant repercussions, as Hef laughs off the incident. The next day, all three girls go parasailing. They later attend a formal reception at which they are introduced to the prince. Although they are uneasy at first with the formality associated with meeting a prince, they are later able to have an informal conversation with him. Later, the girls and Hef attend the presentation of the festival's Golden Nymph Awards.

The girls want to redecorate the mansion's gym and update the equipment. Although Hef rarely uses the gym, he is reluctant to make changes. Holly supervises the redecoration, and is disappointed when Hef visits the gym before the process is complete. Seeing the disorganized state of the gym, Hef pronounces it "ridiculous." Later, once Holly has the redecoration completed, Hef re-visits the gym and finds it much better. Meanwhile, Kendra's mom, Patty, comes to town for cosmetic surgery. She meets with top plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan to discuss what she is looking for and goes through the surgery. After Patty completes her recovery at the mansion, her appearance is noticeably improved.

Bridget gets a video message from her brother Eddie, a soldier serving in Iraq. She, Kendra, and a group of Bunnies go to a party for Marines about to depart for Iraq to thank them for their service. On the 4th of July, the party starts at noon and lasts until nighttime with a fireworks display at the end. Afterward, Bridget finds out that Eddie is getting leave and will be able to visit her at the Mansion. Bridget and her sister Anastasia make posters to welcome Eddie, and when he arrives, she greets him with tears of joy.

Meanwhile, Sara prepares draft after draft of her speech, with her parents' assistance. At the luncheon, after Holly and Hef speak, Sara gives a tearful and heartfelt speech.

Hef tells Kendra that she has the opportunity to drive in a celebrity charity grand prix race, and she is very enthusiastic about that. Before the race, though, she has to go to the Willow Springs Raceway and be trained for race car driving along with the other competitors. She doesn't enjoy the classroom part of the instruction, but she learns a lot once she gets out on the track. Meanwhile, Bridget gets customized rims for her car featuring the Playboy logo and poses with the car for a car magazine, and Holly goes to a dealership to rent a fuel-efficient Prius. The day of the race comes, and Hef serves as grand marshal. The first three laps go well for Kendra, but on the fourth lap she crashes into a wall. Kendra's mother and grandmother are frightened and go to the scene of the crash. Fortunately, Kendra emerges from the car uninjured, just disappointed about being the first person eliminated from the race.

Kendra is unenthusiastic about having to watch a silent film, but eventually she enjoys the movie. Later, Bridget interviews Christopher Mintz-Plasse from the film "Superbad" on her radio show. Kendra decides to fulfill her resolution to become cleaner and classier by bringing in two etiquette teachers to improve her manners. Although the etiquette teachers believe Kendra has potential, Kendra eventually decides that she prefers to be the way she is and gives up on studying etiquette. Holly goes to Las Vegas to apprentice on a photo shoot for a pictorial featuring Playboy Bunnies. Bridget brings in a dog trainer to help her dog Wednesday become less aggressive toward the other dogs in the Mansion. Later, everyone watches an advance screening of "Superbad" at the Mansion.

Valentine's Day is approaching. Holly starts telling Hef's secretary Mary about her plans for her wedding with Hef. When Hef comes into the room, he listens to Holly's plans but remains noncommittal. Holly nevertheless believes Hef is warming up to the idea. Next, Hef and the girls plan Valentine's Day gifts for each other. Holly and Bridget discuss the fact that it's hard to buy gifts for Hef, the man who has everything. Bridget and Holly also try to foster a romance between their dogs, Wednesday and Duke. For Valentine's Day dinner, Hef, the girls, and other Playmate friends go to dinner at Trader Vic's. Back at the Mansion, Hef and the girls present their gifts to each other, around a table with so many candles on it that a fire breaks out (but it's put out quickly). Soon after Valentine's Day comes the Mardi Gras party at the Mansion. The girls are seen planning their outfits. Kendra's mom and brother come to the party as well, and Kendra hopes to set her brother up with a girl at the party.

The girls are invited to decorate a Star Wars-themed float for the Rose Parade. After a celebrity-filled party at the Mansion on New Year's Eve, the girls set out to fulfill their New Year's resolutions. Playmate Julie McCullough comes to the Mansion to help Kendra clear the clutter out of her bedroom. Bridget meets with Chuck McCann to help her record a demo reel so she can do voice-over work. Holly sets up a day for herself, the girls, and their Playmate friends to go horseback riding in the Hollywood Hills. They all enjoy the horseback riding, even though it's a cold day and some of them wind up feeling sore at the end. Meanwhile, Hef is given a riding drinks cooler by the manufacturer and enjoys riding it around the grounds.

Holly, Bridget, and Kendra plan to star in a workout video. The video producer and trainers come to the mansion to find out their plans for the video as well as to see how serious the girls are about doing the video by putting them through an initial workout. Kendra lives up to her athletic reputation by demonstrating herself the most fit of the three. The trainers advise the girls to follow a strict diet and exercise routine to prepare for the video shoot, but Bridget is reluctant to do so. In the meantime, the girls and Hef go to the Improv one evening to see Playmate Julie McCullough's standup comedy routine; afterwards, they go to Arby's, where Julie joins them in eating fast food. The girls each rehearse their segments of the workout with a trainer, although Kendra is distracted by her need to find out the score of the San Diego Chargers game. Finally, at the mansion, Holly, Bridget, and Kendra film their respective segments of the workout video. Despite their anxieties, they each complete their segments successfully.

Hef tells Kendra that for her 21st birthday, he's sending her and her friends to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Before the trip to Las Vegas, Kendra's mother and grandmother come to visit her and bring presents. When the girls arrive at the Palms, they are all impressed by the suites, which are so luxurious that one suite even has its own bowling alley within. Kendra and friends enjoy swimming, gambling, and partying at a nightclub, then go to visit the Scores gentlemen's club. By the time they get back to the hotel, it's 4 a.m. and Kendra still wants to party. After returning to the Mansion, Kendra reflects on the fact that both she and Hef had major birthdays that year -- her 21st and his 80th.

Holly has purchased two white peacocks, Bridget plans to jump out of a cake and do a striptease routine, and Kendra has created a poster for a fake movie, "Playboy Mansion Confidential." Kendra notes that Hef's birthday is also the anniversary of when she and Hef met, two years before. As Hef's birthday approaches, Bridget is concerned about watching what she eats in order to look good for the striptease. The celebrations begin with Casablanca night, when Hef and guests watch Hef's favorite movie and the Mansion is decorated as "Rick's Cafe Americain." Kendra is concerned that her gift will not measure up to Holly's peacocks and Bridget's striptease.

Hef and the girls take a trip to Las Vegas to stay at the Palms, where a new Playboy-themed tower is opening. The resort will also host the first Playboy Club to exist anywhere since the 1980s. The girls and Hef are accompanied by Cristal Camden, Playmate Jillian Grace, and Hef's brother Keith. At the resort, they have dinner at N9NE restaurant, play some blackjack, and then party in a suite which has its own basketball court. The next day, they visit Madame Tussauds and see the figure of Hef, and then they go to the Playboy Store at the Forum Shops where the girls go on a shopping spree. That night, they eat dinner with designer Roberto Cavalli, who designed the new Bunny costumes for the Playboy Club. Later, back at the Palms, there is a Playboy fashion show, in which Holly gets to wear the new Bunny costume.

Hank from the Mansion staff teaches Holly to drive Hef's Mercedes with a manual transmission. Later, two events are held on a single day at the Mansion. In the daytime, there is a charity tennis tournament with both celebrities and pros participating. Kendra has a doubles match against her friend Destiny Davis, with pro tennis players the Jensen brothers as their teammates. Meanwhile, Bridget devotes much of the day to getting her hair and makeup done for her birthday party that night, for which an acting troupe is brought in to stage a murder mystery. All the guests dress in 1920s or 1930s style, with Holly portraying a character she calls "Holly Harlow" and Hef portraying "Lord Heffington." Once the "murder" is staged, the guests and actors divide into teams and are instructed to go to various places around the Mansion grounds to find clues. Kendra eagerly runs to find the clues even as her flapper dress tends to fall down or ride up. At one point Kendra becomes convinced that the "murderer" is Archie the dog, but she has to abandon this theory when she realizes that the "victim" had been stabbed. In the end Bridget herself is revealed to be the "murderer" in the game. A couple of days later, Bridget is presented with a cake on the actual day of her birthday.

The girls and Hef travel to Chicago to do more publicity for the girls' Playboy cover feature and to see Hef's hometown. Along with Hef's brother Keith, they visit Hef's old neighborhood, the elementary school he attended, and the house where Hef and Keith grew up. They visit Playboy headquarters and drop in on Monica Leigh's Cyber Girl photo shoot. That night, they go to dinner at Japonais restaurant, where they notice a group of four women at a nearby table checking out Hef. The next day, the girls get up early to appear on the Mancow radio show to be interviewed and to read the headlines. Later, Hef and the girls continue their tour of the city, during which Hef shows them the original Playboy Mansion. That night, a nightclub hosts a party for the group, and Holly notices that the same group of four women are there as well. The girls are all enthusiastic about Chicago and seeing Hef's old homes and haunts. Meanwhile, back at the Mansion in Los Angeles, Hef's absence makes it possible for the staff to do maintenance and renovations.

Hef and the girls are taking a two-day trip to New York to do publicity for the Playboy issue featuring the girls on the cover. They fly by private jet. Arriving in New York, the girls go to the Statue of Liberty along with three New York-based Playmate friends, while Hef does an interview with Howard Stern by phone. Later, Hef and the girls sign autographs at the Virgin Megastore and then do a long series of interviews. The next day, the girls and Hef prepare for an appearance on "The View." Bridget and Kendra are uneasy about "The View" because they believe they will be asked personal questions about sex. The actual television segment takes less than 10 minutes, and afterward the girls express their displeasure with the interview, in which the girls were all made to sit in the same chair and Hef was called a dirty old man. Kendra declares that the hosts of "The View" are "haters." Later, they all attend a Playboy party, where Christie Hefner praises Hef and the girls. As they all prepare to leave New York, the girls wish they could have spent more time in the city.

Bridget organizes a trip for herself, Holly, and Kendra to her hometown, Lodi, California. It's a long drive and they want to do the whole trip in one day, so they leave in the limo at 5 a.m. When they get to Lodi, Bridget shows the others around the city. Bridget is proud to have been featured in Playboy, which many people around Lodi had known was her dream, and she is treated as a local celebrity in the city. The girls go to a winery where they have lunch with a large group of Bridget's family and friends. After lunch, they have a grape-stomping competition, in which Kendra and Bridget's sister Anastasia defeat Holly and Bridget. Later, the girls visit Bridget's grandma at her house, and finally go to a cigar bar where Bridget and the others pose for pictures and sign autographs. Meanwhile, it's movie night at the Mansion, and Holly is somewhat concerned that with her not around, some of the female guests may try to sit too close to Hef, but eventually she stops worrying about it. After the long drive back, the girls arrive back at the Mansion after 1 a.m.

Halloween is approaching, and so is the big Halloween party at the Mansion. Holly and Kendra prepare fake tombstones to decorate the yard, while Bridget starts decorating her room like a haunted house two months in advance. Bridget loves horror movies and ghost stories, and she believes that she has seen a ghost in the Mansion. Other people in the Mansion have also reported spooky occurrences. Bridget calls in paranormal investigator Barry Taff to look for signs of ghostly activity. Holly wants to believe in the paranormal as well but has never seen a ghost, while Kendra is mostly skeptical. Taff's ghost-detecting devices pick up some unusual activity, but nothing definitive is concluded from his visit. Later, Bridget brings in a psychic to hold a s?ance. The psychic reports that there is one spirit in the house, who has been around since the beginning of time and is responding to negativity in the house. Bridget and Holly don't believe that the psychic has accurately described the ghosts in the house, and Kendra doesn't believe the psychic at all. Bridget is disappointed not to have learned conclusive information about whether the Mansion is haunted. Later, Hef shows the girls a horror movie he filmed himself when he was 16 years old, in which he played a mad scientist who seeks to reanimate the dead.

The girls are photographed for a potential Playboy cover. The shoot takes place at Playboy Studio West, on a set decorated to look like Hef's bedroom. However, even after the shoot, the girls are uncertain as to whether a picture of them will actually be selected for the magazine cover. In the meantime, Holly is redecorating the guest house where Playmates stay, and she also decides to prepare a lunch for the other girls, Hef, and a few friends. However, Holly has no prior experience with cooking, and she finds that she has to spend much more time than she expected in the kitchen and is disappointed that she doesn't have much of a chance to socialize with the others during the meal. Later, Holly is eager to see the magazine as soon as it comes out to find out if she, Bridget, and Kendra made the cover. When the issue arrives, Hef's secretary Mary hides it from Holly to ensure that Hef will be the first to see it. Soon afterward, the girls are eating lunch when Hef brings them the November issue of Playboy, featuring the girls on the cover, to their delight. Holly is particularly pleased because all of Hef's past girlfriends have been featured on the magazine cover as well, and being on the cover validates her status as Hef's girlfriend.

Bridget goes to the Trashy Lingerie store to select an outfit for the Midsummer Night's Dream party at the Mansion. Later, she, Holly and Kendra tell Bridget's sister Anastasia that they are going to give her a makeover in preparation for the party. Bridget takes her to the Skin Spa, then to buy clothes and shoes. Meanwhile, Bridget's cat Gizmo needs to be groomed, so she takes the cat to Petco to be shaved. Scenes of Gizmo being shaved are intercut with scenes of Anastasia getting her legs waxed. Meanwhile, the Mansion staff decorates the backyard for the party, the other girls get themselves ready for the party, and a team of body artists paint outfits on some women who will attend the party. Finally, Anastasia goes to a hair salon to get her hair dyed blonde. Before the party, Anastasia shows her new look to the others. They're all very impressed, and Hef and even Anastasia's mother can barely recognize her. Anastasia considers the makeover the best gift she has ever received. After the party, the girls reflect on their dreams, those they have achieved and those they still hope to achieve.

It's finally time for Holly, Bridget, and Kendra to have their own pictorial in Playboy. All the photos are to be taken in and around the Mansion. On the first day of the shoot, Holly, Kendra, and Bridget each pose separately. Afterward, they scrutinize their individual pictures intensely. On the second day of the shoot, the girls are scheduled to be photographed together. Bridget wants the shoot to be finished in time for her to take a final exam in her broadcast journalism course. She e-mails the professor for permission to take the exam later, but is turned down, so she has to leave by 6:15 p.m. After most of the photos have been taken, it's time to take pictures of the girls in the shower, but time is running short and Bridget leaves for class. Holly and Kendra pose for the shower photos without Bridget. Later, a tearful Bridget admits to Hef that she doesn't want to have fewer pictures in the magazine than the other girls due to her having to miss the shower photos. Hef agrees to have the shower pictures re-taken with all three girls posing together, and they do so, albeit with some misgivings on Holly and Kendra's part. Later, Hef brings the girls a mock-up of their pictorial as it will appear in the magazine, and they are all very excited about it.

The girls are participating in Operation Playmate, which sends cookies and pictures of Playmates to members of the military. They join a group of Playmates in baking cookies, and design a few unusual cookies for their friends at the Mansion. Holly and Bridget meet with Pat Lacey at Playboy Studio West to be trained in wearing Playboy Bunny costumes and the responsibilities associated with being a Bunny. Kendra is invited to wear a Bunny costume as well but declines to do so. Holly and Bridget pose for pictures in military-themed Bunny costumes along with Playmates Audra Lynn and Jillian Grace. Later, Bridget and her sister Anastasia go to North Carolina to visit their brother Eddie, who is in the Army and stationed at Fort Bragg. They meet at a restaurant where Bridget gives Eddie a care package before he is sent to do another tour in Iraq. Back at the Mansion, there's a 4th of July party, which features a Slip N' Slide down a rolling slope on the Mansion grounds. That night, everyone watches fireworks at the Mansion.

Fight Night is approaching, when the Mansion is to host a card of boxing matches to be taped for ESPN. Among the people coming for the boxing is Hef's ex-girlfriend Barbi Benton, and Holly wants to make a good impression on her. Barbi has lunch with Hef and the girls, where she makes some comments about the girls' ages to which Holly and Bridget later take offense. That night, there are various celebrities in the audience for the fights. Kendra is particularly impressed by one man she sees, although the "man" turns out to be just a mannequin. Also, Bridget gets a new puppy, and her sister Anastasia comes with her to pick up the puppy at the airport. The girls and Hef are all impressed by how cute the dog is. Bridget tries to get her cat Gizmo to become friends with the puppy, whom Bridget names "Wednesday."

The girls get up at 4:30 a.m. so they can fly to Las Vegas for Playmate Carmella DeCesare's birthday party. Because Hef will not be accompanying them, they are expected to return by their usual curfew of 9 p.m. that night. When it's time to leave for the airport, Kendra can't find her present for Carmella, and Holly is afraid they will be late for the plane. Eventually Kendra gives up on the search and the girls do make their flight to Las Vegas. When they arrive, they go to the Palms Casino and check into the Hugh Hefner Suite. Soon afterward, they meet up with Carmella, her boyfriend Jeff Garcia, and Playmate Destiny Davis. The group spends most of the day hanging out by the pool, where they drink cocktails and have birthday cake. As they get ready for dinner, Holly is once again concerned about the time because it is her responsibility to get herself, Bridget and Kendra back to the Mansion before curfew. As it turns out, their flight is delayed, and Holly calls Hef to explain. Hef is up late that night anyway so he doesn't object when the girls get back late.

They go by motor coach due to the size of the entourage, and Kendra and others start partying right there on the bus. Mansion staff members talk about all the work they need to put into any event that Hef goes to with regard to bringing glasses, wine, champagne, etc. That night, after the concert, Kendra is excited because her birthday is coming up the following day. On the day of the birthday party, Holly and Bridget go shopping at various party stores for gifts and decorations. Meanwhile, Kendra's mother, brother, grandmother, and best friend arrive at the Mansion for the party. The sun comes out in time for the group to hold the birthday party by the pool, and Kendra cuts the cake and opens her gifts. Afterwards, she thanks Hef, Holly, and Bridget for a perfect day.

Later, future Playmates Sara Underwood and Raquel Gibson come to stay at the Mansion in preparation for their test shoots. The girls have different reactions to the succession of potential Playmates who are frequently found at the Mansion; Holly has her guard up around them, Bridget is jealous because being a Playmate has been her dream since childhood, and Kendra enjoys meeting the new people. Kendra takes Sara to a batting cage while Holly and Bridget go ice skating with Raquel. Later, Hef, the girls, Sara, Raquel, and others go to a club. Bridget is amused to see Sara and Raquel drinking the night before having their test shoots. Later on, the whole group goes to a restaurant, where Hef's food is prepared according to his very particular instructions. After the meal, everyone tries to hang spoons on their noses. When they return to the Mansion, Hef has news for Holly, Bridget, and Kendra - he's planning to feature them on the cover of Playboy and in a pictorial in the magazine. They're all thrilled, although not necessarily for the same reasons.
