Based on the events of the brutal Ugandan dictator Idi Amin's regime as seen by his personal physician during the 1970s In 1970, the just-graduated doctor Nicholas Garrigan moves to Uganda to get rid of his conservative father. Buffoonary through to terror15 December 2011

Idi Amin was no joke - but there were comic aspects to his reign of terror. This film, a fiction that could so easily have been true, is a first rate thriller. Not to be missed.

Good but not a biopic17 April 2010

Quite good giving us an insight into the terrfying world of Idi Amin\'s Uganda but not a biopic. Liked to have a seen a factual biopic to show the true menace of this dictator. A missed opportunity but nevertheless well worth watching.
