This is a really engrossing film and particularly moving because the Pianist in question was no work of fiction but a real person with extraordinary talent. The film becomes also a story of unlikely friendship and loss. Not to be missed.

Of course the scenes of attrocities make for disturbing viewing, but this tale of a man\'s struggle for survival against the odds is very compelling. Fine performances from Brody and the rest of the cast.
