I think making a family-friendly movie that is also significant is one of the harder tasks a filmmaker can undertake. Nice family film28 January 2012

Just an all around great family film that the kids and you can both sit through and enjoy it. Matt Damon does a great job to go along with a really good script. Well worth seeing. Enjoy!

what a good movie! thoroughly enjoyed it. it is a cam copy so the audio and video are sketchy at times but, i reccomend downloading it anyways. well worth the price!

This movie may not be of same tier as Jerry Mcguire but We bought a zoo is very pleasant, realistic and measures well with my happiness index for seeing a nice movie (hopefully even by Inspector of Zoo Walter Ferris played by John Michael Higgins tape measures). The entire star cast was good.

While not quite Crowe at his absolute best, it carries his humanistic imprint and benefits from a strong acting ensemble that keep emotions in check. Nothing that happens in this movie is in the least surprising, but it\'s all quite pleasant and even, at times, moving.
