Newcastle is a well directed, acted, and shot drama. The subject matter may seem rather challenging for some but the relationships are very real and contemporary. The characters are open-minded about sexual identity and Newcastle presents the issue of homosexuality in a way that makes it seem so natural to the situation. Teenage surf movie trying to be serious09 February 2012

Dawsons creek on surf boards. This movie is trying to tackle socio-economic problems but it is hard to take serious when all that these guys are doing is just lying on the beach and surfing.
Great shots from the Newcastle area will make it worth watching for locals, but if you like surfing watch... more
