This is about life values, such as loyalty, atonement, forgiveness, love and faith. Andy Lau was magnificent and Jackie Chan play a great supporting role. The special effects are not great, but the story is captivating.

I enjoyed this. Some of it didn't quite hold water. (like the amount of monks at any one time seemed to go from under 100 to what seemed like hundreds).
