Open after Terry's funeral. Sookie...
more
Open after Terry's funeral. Sookie tells Alcide she needs a walk and he offers to accompany her. Sookie's worried about Jason and Alcide assures her he'll be okay. Alcide definitely seems interested in a romantic relationship. They come upon the vampires who have fed from Bill, frolicking in the daylight. Sookie sees Jason and tells Alcide she needs to check things out. It seems that Jason has finally gotten to the point where he wants to have sex with Violet, but she's not yet ready. Jason introduces Sookie to Violet. After she leaves Jason tells Sookie he now knows how she felt with Bill. Tara tells Sookie about the magical blood and says she's doesn't think she can hate Bill.
Sookie pops up to the faerie plane to see Warlow. He's working on a maypole that will help them seal their union that evening. Sookie wants them to wait a beat, saying she thinks they should try dating. This infuriates Warlow who grabs her by the neck violently.
Pam tells Tara she's going to go after Eric. Tara hates the idea but Pam flies up into the sky.
Bill is frustrated by the fact he's no longer god-like. He tells Jessica about sacrificing Sookie to get the blood he needed. Jessica urges him to save Sookie. They bring in Jason and tells him what's going on with Warlow. Bill points out the only way to get to the faerie plane is with help from a faerie. Andy's daughter is only one left in the city.
Bill glamours Takahashi into forgetting everything he's done for Bill and leaves him with a giant bag of cash.
Jason and Violet go to Andy's house and asks Adilyn for her help. Andy isn't interested but Adilyn wants to help Sookie. Andy and Jason get weapons for the trip.
Warlow tells Sookie he needs to "get back to the start" and basically says she's going to be his bride whether or not she likes the idea. Sookie threatens to throw away her light. He ties her up and says that he basically just wants to use her for her blood. He begins to bite her.
Adilyn helps Jason, Andy, Violet and Bill get to the plane. They get up there and Bill begins to fight Warlow. Jason grabs Sookie and leaves the realm with Andy, Violet and Adilyn. They bring Sookie to her house while Andy stands guard. While Violet heals Sookie, Warlow shows up at the house. Violet tries to protect Jason and Warlow knocks them both over. Bill tries staking Warlow but that doesn't work either. Warlow locks Jason, Andy and Adilyn in the basement. Warlow finds Sookie in the bathroom. But just as he's about to bite her Niall partially appears from his realm and grabs Warlow from behind and holds him. This gives Jason enough time to stake Warlow in the heart and kill him. Sookie and Jason pull Niall back into their world. When Warlow dies, every vampire begins to feel something leave them. We see Eric, who was reading outside in Sweden start to catch fire.
SIX MONTHS LATER
Bill has published a book about his experiences with Lilith, Burrell and Hep-V. It sounds as if Hep-V has spread to one-eighth of the world's vampire population. The point of Bill's book is to "establish trust" with humans.
Alcide and Sookie seem to be officially together.
Jason and Violet have been together for six months and she still has not given him any sexual contact, despite him providing her oral sex every single day. All she says is "in due time."
Sookie and Alcide arrive at church. Outside we see Sam and Andy arguing over something that is about to take place inside. Andy says he'll sit with him inside but refuses to show up at a function that night.
Inside the church all of the humans are being tested to see if they are carriers of Hep-V. Reverend Daniels speak to what looks like a joint service of the congregations of the predominantly white and black churches. He talks about roving groups of sick vampires who have been completely wiping out small towns. He stresses the importance of the community sticking together. Sam, who is now the mayor of Bon Temps, takes the podium and says that while Hep-V is deadly only to vampires, humans can be carriers. He says that he and Bill have come up with a plan. That night at Bellefleur's Bar and Grill (own by Arlene) there will be a social event where humans can meet healthy vampires. The goal is to pair non-carrier human with vampires. Sam wants humans to agree to a monogamous relationship with a vampire, letting the vampire feed in exchange for protection from the sick vampires. Some people immediately walk out of the church.
Cut to the social at Arlene's restaurant. Sookie shows up with a reluctant Alcide. Lettie Mae walks up and asks Willa if she'll ask her daughter to give her a few minutes alone. Lettie Mae apologizes for being a bad mother and offers to let Tara feed on her. Tara initially say no, but eventually goes for it.
Jessica stops by Andy's house and he pulls a gun on her. She says she's there to offer them protection. Jessica thinks she can give him and Adilyn piece of mind that they'll be safe.
We see Sookie and Alcide leaving the gathering at Bellefleur's. Bill tells Sookie that she needs a vampire in her life. He offers his protection and she declines. Bill tells her that he's changed and can be trusted again. Alcide smells something and we see a pack of infected vampires walk out of the woods. They head towards the bar as the season ends.

Bill grabs Warlow and Sookie is forced to use her light to banish Bill from the faerie realm. Bill takes off after Eric.
Arlene arrives at Terry's funeral.
Warlow asks Sookie if she's still going to be his and she says she always keeps her promises. She leaves him to attend the funeral.
Alcide says hello to Sookie just before the funeral begins. Sookie tells him she doesn't know why Jason isn't there.
Bill arrives at the vampire camp and finds human body parts everywhere.
Inside Eric finds Dr. Overlark alone in a room. He reaches down and rips off Overlark's genitals and tells him he'll be back to make sure he's bled to death. Eric then goes to the male gen pop and tells the vampires they're free to go and kill their captors.
The funeral begins and Reverend Daniels talks about Terry's love and devotion to his family.
Bill finds Overlark on the floor. He tells him Eric is responsible. Bill kills him after learning he harmed Jessica during some experiments.
Andy takes to the podium at the funeral. He tells the story of when Terry first returned from war and was basically hiding at Fort Bellefleur. Andy helped start the process of bringing Terry back to the real world. Terry thinks there's nothing left for him there. Andy offers to find him a job.
Bill walks through the vampire camp and sees vampire after vampire taking revenge on the staff.
Eric frees the female gen pop and encounters a weakened Jason. Eric finds out Jason knows the camp well and heals him.
We see that Sarah has managed to avoid vampire detection by hiding under a few dead bodies.
Sam is next to speak at Terry's funeral. He talks about Andy asking him to give Terry a job. He flashes back to joining Andy out at Fort Bellefleur. Sam has brought Terry a special beer and they ask Terry to go fishing. Terry catches a catfish. He tells Andy to throw it back, saying that every life has value. Terry starts crying, concerned that his working in the restaurant business might not be a good fit.
Eric finds the therapist and tells him he's going to die. When the man tells Eric he slept with his progeny, Eric says he's going to take him to Pam and let her take care of him.
Lafayette speaks at the funeral. He talks about working with Terry at Merlotte's and tells the story of helping him work the fryer.
Eric releases Ginger and some of the vampire-friendly humans being held.
Portia speaks at the funeral and tells a sweet childhood story about her cousin. Daniels asks if anyone else would like to speak before Arlene takes the podium. Sookie listens to Arlene's thoughts and hears that she's not quite ready, so she tells Daniels she has something to say. Sookie tells the story of when Terry first laid eyes on Arlene. From the very first moment Terry thought she was the greatest thing he'd ever seen. Seeing Arlene made Terry think coming out of the woods might not be so scary. An emotional Sookie tells Arlene that few women ever get to be loved the way Terry loved her. She returns to her seat and Alcide gives her a shoulder to cry on.
Bill has a guard tell him where the white room is located. At the same time Sarah climbs to the top of the building and begins to open the roof manually. But when the sun is let in we see that Bill is letting the vampires in the room drink his blood so that they are protected from the sun. Steve Newlin is the only one not being allowed to feed. Eric walks in and forces Newlin to face the sun. Eric tells Pam he's saved the therapist for her.
Arlene tells a story about the day their baby was born. She was struggling with having a third child and Terry was a stabilizing influence that helped get her through.
The vampires enjoy their brief ability to walk in the sunlight. Jason leaves to get Sarah. Having let so many feed from him Bill is incredibly weak. Lilith's three servants arrive.
Jason finds Sarah before she can escape. He grabs her gun before she can use it.
Before the Marines salute Terry's life Big John Dixon asks to address the gathering. He says he loved Terry and sings a song called "Life Matters" for his friend.
Jason tells Sarah that killing her would be doing Jesus' work. He puts the gun to Sarah's head but is unable to pull the trigger. He says he doesn't want more blood on his hands.
Big John finishes and Arlene gives him a huge hug.
Eric and the rest of the vampires walk outside and find the cases of Tru Blood. They begin destroying the poisoned product. We see a Tru Blood delivery truck highjacked by vampires.
Lilith's minions tell Bill his time on Earth is over. Bill responds: "I'm not going anywhere."
Jessica rushes back inside to help Bill. She and James watch through the window as he appears to be talking to himself. Jessica goes to his side and he says Lilith is coming for him. James suggests they give back the blood they drank from him and asks Bill to feed from him.
Terry is given a 21-gun salute. Taps is played as he is lowered into the grave and Arlene is given the flag that covered his coffin. Sookie hears Arlene think that she feels Terry would have enjoyed the service.
Jessica walks outside, followed by Bill. The vampires clap and thank him for saving their lives. Violet and Jason are still together. Pam and Eric stare at each other. She says "don't you dare leave me" as Eric flies into the air.

Sara places Newlin and James in the circular viewing area. Newlin begins crying.
Sam tells Nicole he loves her and asks her not to leave. Her mother isn't happy about the idea. Sookie shows up and asks Sam to talk. They go to the office and she immediately gives him an awkwardly long, lingering hug. She shows him her special vampire-killing ball and explains that not reabsorbing it would make her faerie no longer, and therefore no longer desired by vampires. He asks her why she's telling him and she says it's because she always figured they'd end up together. He blows up about her putting him on the back burner all the time and that her timing couldn't be worse. He then tells her Nicole is pregnant. Sookie storms out.
At the funeral home Arlene makes arrangements. Terry's grandmother wants a full military funeral, complete with 21-gun salute. This sets Arlene off, and she tells the family Terry only enlisted because his family wouldn't pay for college. Arlene thinks the Bellefleurs are burying a lie.
Outside the building Holly tells Andy that Portia and their grandmother are trying to disregard Arlene's wishes. Arlene doesn't think she wants the money, since she's mad Terry left her on purpose. Arlene wants a different reverend and Andy promises to make it happen.
Sookie visits her family's graves. She talks about how things are changing and the fact death is not the end. She has nasty things to say to both of her parents about the fact they were willing to kill her. She'd rather "walk the Earth as a corpse" than spend time thinking about them.

She grabs Lafayette's hand and is able to flashback to Warlow speaking with them in their kitchen. Warlow tells them about the contract and says that when she's of age he's going to make her into a vampire so the two of them can live together forever. Sookie's father was going to kill her rather than let her become a vampire. In present day Corbett jumps into Lafayette's body. Corbett grabs Sookie and puts her in Lafayette's trunk.

The Sun
We open with what appears to be...
more
We open with what appears to be Warlow arriving from another some kind of portal.
The out of control car Jason was riding in is stopped by the older man who had been driving. He is clearly a supernatural being. Jason thinks he's Warlow, but the man says he's actually Niall, his fairy grandfather. He's disappointed with how forthcoming Jason was with a complete stranger and is concerned he's not ready for what is on the way.
Tara has been shot with some new type of bullet the police are using. It's a silver bullet able to emit UV light. Eric arrives and removes the bullet. Tara feels much better.Nora is worried the humans are fighting back is a much more serious way. Eric is more than ready for a war with the humans.
Bill tells Jessica he is "feeling" the pain of all vampires. In his mind he sees vampire burned and dragged behind a truck by laughing humans. Bill then becomes comatose. We see into Bill's mind: He is led by the three bloody naked women to Lilith, who tells him "events have been set in motion."
Sookie is still sleeping when Arlene calls her and reminds her, not too gently, that she is supposed to be at Merlotte's. Sookie says she'll be right there.
Patrick's wife arrives at Merlotte's and Arlene tells Terry he needs to speak with her. She is pregnant and thinks Patrick ran off with another woman. Arlene walks up and tells her that Patrick has indeed left her and she needs to be strong. She hugs Patrick's wife and Terry is visibly upset to have to hurt the pregnant lady so.
While walking to her job Sookie comes across a male Half-fairy who has been attacked by a vampire. Or so he says. He refuses to see a doctor so she brings him to her home. He's not sure who attacked him.
Three people get a table at Merlotte's. One of the women walks to the bar and tells Sam she knows he's a shifter. She's interested in starting a dialogue between humans and supernaturals and knows about Luna and Emma. Sam brings her to his office and she says she wants him to come out as a shifter. Her name is Nicole and she's the founder of the US Vampire Unity Society. She thinks the government will eventually come after his kind and wants him to inspire others. He turns her down.
Back to Bill's conversation with Lillith, who tells him he needs to complete her work. She says that God created her along with Adam and Eve and that she is not a god and neither is Bill. At this point Jessica brings him a paid human snack hoping it will revive him. Bill doesn't react, but when she tries to leave he stops her with his mind, twists her body into a pretzel and manages to pull the blood from her body and send it directly into his mouth. Jessica collapses in shock.
Sookie's new fairy friend Ben wakes up from his nap. She touches his wrist and his skin lights up. She confesses she's tired of being different. He says she seems like a good person and gets up to leave. His name is Ben. Before leaving Ben mentions to Sookie that is the first person in a very long time to treat him kindly and how he is so down on his luck and hopes his fortunes will change. He delivers his speech with a sweet and forlorn smile like an abandoned orphan hoping to be adopted by kind strangers. Sookie, of course, stops him and tells him about a safe place for faeries. She offers to accompany him there too, evidently having forgotten her promise to Arlene to come to Merlotte's.
Andy brings his rapidly growing fairy children to the site of the clubhouse entrance and asks for help.
Niall has Jason bring him to the place where Warlow appeared to Sookie, her upstairs bathroom. He goes through the portal. When he pops back out he tells Jason "It's worse than I thought."
Ben tells Sookie he'd like to take her out at some point. She says she's not in a good place for romance. He reads her mind and hears the name Bill. She directs him to the field and leaves.
Nora reads up on Lilith in the Vampire Bible, looking for more info on Bill. She thinks she's found something. Nora tells Pam that Eric loves her and the reason he didn't tell her about his sister is because the information would have put her in danger.
Eric finds a way into Burrell's mansion, pretending to be someone who had an appointment. Eric attempts to glamour Burrell into changing his tune on vampires. It doesn't work, as Burrell is wearing special contact lenses that block vampires from using the power. Eric is placed into custody and Burrell tells him he's been waiting years for the proper political climate to go after vampires.
Sookie returns home and Jason introduces her to Niall. Niall is very hungry and they sit down to eat. Over pasta Niall tells them Warlow has already arrived. It is obvious that no one has managed to teach Jason any table manners. He tells Sookie that Warlow has been obsessed with their family for thousands of years. This is because the Stackhouse is the original fairy royal family. Niall's been tracking him for centuries. Warlow had been in a dark realm since the day he killed their parents. He then shows Sookie a secret power fairies possess. She can destroy any creatures nearby, but it is a power she can only use once and will result in her becoming mortal. She starts to play around with the power.
Eric is able to escape police custody by flying into the sky.
Alcide and a bunch of wolves show up at Sam's place looking for Emma. They want to take her to be with other wolves, but Sam wants to honor the promise he made to a dying Luna. The wolves take Emma and in the process both Sam and Lafayette (who had been watching Emma) take a beating. Nicole and her friends watch and record this from the bushes.
We see Burrell's daughter Willa preparing for bed. She takes out her special contact lenses just as Eric arrives at her window. He orders he to invite him in and she obliges.
Jessica tells Bill she's worried and doesn't know what is going on with him. She asks if he's Lilith and begins confessing her sins and asks God to watch over her friends, including Bill. Inside Bill's head we see Lilith tells Bill to "trust what you see." Bill then snaps out of it. The TV automatically turns on and we see a news report of the vampire being tortured in exactly the way Bill had envisioned earlier. "I can see the future," Bill says, just before seeing dozens of vampires being burned.

Tara tries to comfort Pam, who begins to cry and puts her head on Tara's shoulder.
Jessica asks Sookie if she still loves Bill. They are both afraid of him. Sookie thinks they should let Bill go and offers Jessica her support.
Nora talks to Jason about Warlow. She glamours him and he tells her Warlow killed his parents. All Nora knows is that Warlow is a progeny of Lilith, one of the first vampires. Jason informs Nora that he is "sick and tired of vampers brain-raping him against his will". He points a gun at Nora, telling Eric he's not afraid to die. Sookie stands in between them and Jason is furious his sister is taking the vampires' side. He leaves, telling Sookie she is as dead to him as the vampires.
We cut to a tasteful scene where the werewolf pack feeding on JD's body. Alcide takes a bite of an arm to formally establishes himself as pack master. An attractive young wolf named Danielle walks over to him and offers her service "any way I can."
Arlene and Andy argue over raising his kids. He is scared of doing something wrong because he has no idea how to raise babies. She reassures him that being scared is part of the deal. Arlene and Terry give Andy some parenting lessons.
Sam sneaks into Merlotte's with Emma and runs into a drunk Lafayette protecting the bar with a shotgun. Sam makes Lafayette promise not to tell anyone he was there. Lafayette takes Emma into the kitchen to feed her.
We see Jason hitchhiking. A car stops and the passenger door opens. An older man asks if he needs help and tells him to get in. The guy says he knows Bon Temps and Jason starts telling him about his family.
Jessica and Sookie arrive at Bill's house. They find Bill sitting on the porch. He says "I just want to talk" and Eric and Nora fly in to attack Bill. Bill tosses Nora aside and gets clenched up with Eric. Sookie comes from behind and stakes Bill through the chest. Bill simply pulls out the stake and tosses it aside. He retracts his fangs and says "Now can we talk?" He says he's still Bill Compton, though he's "clearly something more." Sookie says that Bill Compton has died and wants him to leave Bon Temps. Jessica isn't convinced it's not Bill and demands that Sookie, Eric and Nora leave.
Burrell has a middle-of-the-night meeting with a businesswoman named Suzuki. He offers her a silent partnership, providing free use of a government controlled bottling plant so she can make True Blood. He says his goal is to keep the vampires fed and return them to being normal Louisiana taxpayers. She agrees to the deal.
Alcide and Danielle disappear to a remote part of the forest and begin to fool around. Rikki arrives but doesn't get mad. Instead she joins the fun, making out with Danielle before forcing her onto her knees to "service" Alcide, while telling him to remember that she's his "No. 1 bitch."
Tara tells Pam she thinks she's too obsessed with Eric to give the two of them a chance. Pam says she'll never be able to replace Eric. Police break down the door and say they're there to close Fangtasia down. Tara defends Pam and is shot. She screams, but isn't dead.
Eric walks Sookie home and thanks her for staking Billith for him. She tells him she's not "who I turned out to be." When they arrive he writes a document that returns to her ownership of her home. She says she wants to return to who she used to be and rescinds his invitation to her home. He slides out of the door gently. Both sad.On the porch Eric tells Nora they need to find Bill's weakness and warns her they are to stay away from Sookie. She thinks Eric is in love with Sookie. He doesn't want to talk about it.
Andy wakes up to find his kids seems to have aged three or four years overnight. It scares him very much. Arlene and Terry are terrified too. Gingeresque screaming ensues.
Jessica has cleaned up and is in bed. Bill Brings her a glass of True Blood. Jessica nearly spills it (she's very nervous and scared) and Bill is able to keep it from hitting the ground with just his mind. Jessica asks what happened back at the compound and who he is now, exactly. He doesn't have answers for her but tells her a story about a man he served under in the Civil War. He thinks it was power that drove the man mad and wants to avoid that fate for himself. Jessica is the only person he can trust and wants her to help keep him grounded. They hug. Jessica is tired, Bill tucks her in and switches off the light.
Jason has basically told his driver his entire life story. When Jason references Warlow, the man says "You can't keep Warlow away from Sookie." Jason realizes he hasn't told the man his sister's name. Jason assumes that he is Warlow and shoots at him, the driver disappears, leaving the car headed for a ditch.

Open with Sookie and Alcide fooling...
more
Open with Sookie and Alcide fooling around. He says "I've waited so long for this" and she promptly vomits on his shoes. Alcide looks up and sees Bill and Eric standing in the doorway. Lafayette is battling with his witch alter ego. He asks God to help him and promptly figurines come to life and start talking to him. Lafayette asks Jesus to give him a sign if he's out there. Eller ties up Terry and Patrick and asks if they were followed by "anything." Jason dreams about one of his childhood memories. He looks up and sees bit marks in both of his parents' necks. He wakes up when his phone rings and we see he's nude. Andy also wakes up nude on the couch and seems to get a similar phone call. Alcide doesn't like the idea of Sookie helping Bill and Eric find Russell especially getting Doug involved who was glammed and does not remember anything. They don't seem to care what he thinks. Sookie laughs at the ridiculousness of her life and agrees to help hunt Russell. Pam has Tara bartending at Fangtasia. Pam warns her not to feed in public at what is now her bar. Sookie reads a guard's mind and learns that a female member of the Authority dug Russell up with her bare hands. At first Bill doesn't believe Eric when he says he didn't tell anybody they buried Russell alive. Cut to Nora, who based on the necklace seems to be a likely suspect for the person who dug up Russell. She looks at the security camera in her cell and says "we will rise up." She's promptly hit with a UV ray. In another room Salome orders Bill and Eric be told they have until dawn to find Russell or they will be terminated. Salome goes to see Roman, who is deeply impacted by Chancellor Drew "losing his way" with respect to mainstreaming. She tells him with the Sanguinista are gaining ground and thinks he should "control the message" on his terms. Terry and Patrick are convinced Eller's the one who has been setting fires. He comes in and tells them a crazy story about the fire in one of the first doing strange things. He thinks a fire monster, an Ifrit, is to blame. Eller thinks one of the women in Iraq cursed them during the massacre. Terry flashes back to the woman surviving he shooting, but Patrick ordering him to kill him. Terry points his gun at her and right before he kills her she says: "May the Ifrit burn you all and everything you've ever loved." Andy and Jason are called to the scene of Sam's shifter friends' murder. Jason briefly sees Emory and Suzanne as his parents with vampire bites. They talk about the other night and interacting with the faeries. Andy wants to avoid that place, saying he has a good thing going with Holly. Sam tells Andy he found Emory and Suzanne dead. He tells Andy they were shifters. Jessica sits at the bar at Fangtasia. She and Tara compare makers and Jessica says "It gets better." Jessica assures Tara that her vampire feelings aren't bad. Using that same security guard's thoughts, Sookie guides them to a remote location. Bill and Eric try to figure out why Nora would release Russell. Bill gets a call that their stakes are set to activate at dawn. They arrive at a complex of large buildings and try to part ways with Sookie. She reminds them that her fingers are one of the few things with any power over Russell. Jason finds a wooden bullet in a tree near the crime scene. Andy spots tire tracks that indicate where the shooter stood. Sookie guides them to a large dark room and they find a pile of dead human bodies. "Seems like we're in the right place," says Eric. Tara runs into Hoyt outside the bar. He propositions her, but she turns him down. Terry continues to flash back and we see the soldiers burning the bodies. As the bodies burn Terry recalls seeing spirits of some kind float out of the fire. In present day Terry tells Eller he say the Ifrit. Terry tell Eller they need to leave, that this situation is exactly what the Ifrit has been waiting for. Eller unties them and Patrick immediately knocks him out. Terry tells him he wasn't kidding, but Patrick doesn't want to hear it. Terry leaves and Patrick ties Eller to a chair. Patrick thinks the drugs are what made Patrick see those things and assures him there is no thing as an Ifrit. Down in the compound the Ifrit engulfs Eller in his chair. Lafayette wakes up and sees Jesus's head sitting on the table with his mouth sewn shut. He freaks out. The head also appears to Ruby. She seems to understand what Jesus is trying to say. They find a room that appears to be where Russell's victims are kept before feeding. One of them is still alive and tells Bill where the people are taken. Sam pays Luna a visit and tells her about Emory and Suzanne. Luna is shocked by the deaths as Sam tries to comfort her. She asks him to leave. He walks outside and runs into a pickup truck filled with men wearing masks. One shouts "Hey shifter" and shoots Sam. Luna walks outside and is shot several times. Emma walks outside and avoids their shots, turning into a wolf and running off. Luna appears to be dead. We listen to Roman speaking to vampire leadership about aggressively fighting for the issues of mainstreaming while we see: Jason visiting his parents' graves and Tara and Jessica fighting over Hoyt in Fantasia's bathroom. Bill, Eric, Sookie and Alcide find a weakened-looking Russell lying in a hospital bed. Eric says they are there to "finish what we started." Russell says "give it your best shot" as the episode ends. Alcide who is standing last appears to have been attacked.

We'll Meet Again
Open with Pam trying to save Tara...
more
Open with Pam trying to save Tara from her tanning booth suicide attempt. Tara is adamant that Pam has no right to tell her what to do. As her maker, Pam simply commands Tara never to do that again. Sookie and Lafayette argue about her being too open regarding what they've done. He thinks she always makes it through situations okay, but those around her aren't so fortunate. He calls her the "Angel of Death." Sookie is devastated. Bill and Eric are dropped off to begin their mission. Only 4 people knew where Russell was buried. Roman and Salome listen to the sound of Nora being tortured. It isn't working and Roman asks her to step in and give it a try. If Salome isn't successful Roman says he's fine with executing Nora. Sookie tells Jason she wants to turn herself in for killing Debbie. She tired of lying and covering up. She tells him Alcide and Lafayette know, as well as telling him about Tara. Jessica is also at Jason's and hears the whole story. Pam brings Tara back to the club and finds Eric and Bill sitting there. Eric asks Bill and Tara for some privacy. In the other room Bill tells Tara the suicide impulse will pass eventually. She tells him he needs to forget about Sookie, given what happens to those around her. Eric violently presses Pam for information about Russell. She is offended he would even suspect she'd dig him. He says he trusts nobody. She says if he can't trust her more than Bill or a werewolf, he should release her. Eric and Bill decide the following day they need to cast their net wider. Members of the Authority are tracking Eric and Bill whereabouts and aren't thrilled they aren't searching the area for Russell. There are suspicions that they killed Russell themselves and are using this ruse to buy time. Judge Clemmons drops by to thank Andy for clearing his kid's ticket. He wants to take him and Jason out that night to celebrate. Sam's shifter buddies Emory and Suzanne drop by Merlotte's. They want Sam to go for a run. Sookie listens to a lot of people thinking some pretty terrible things about her because of what happened to Tara. She runs into Sam's office and collapses on a chair. With the anger towards Sookie running through his mind Lafayette turns into witch Lafayette and beings chanting at her car. Alcide drops by to see Debbie's parents. He says he wasn't honest with them earlier and tells them Debbie was killed. He says her killer was a psycho pack master from Shreveport named Mark. He says Mark had bragged about getting physical with Debbie. Alcide weeps and tells them he never stopped caring about her. They tell him to leave. On her way home Sookie finds her car accelerating strangely as the brakes fail. She jumps out of the moving vehicle just before it hits a tree. Terry and Patrick are on the way to find Private Eller in South Dakota. During the drive Terry has a flashback to Iraq. Some of the guys go to drink and do drugs in a Muslim prayer tower, and tell Eller to stand guard. They give him a pill of some kind and leave. Drunk and stoned, the guys in the tower start making a ton of noise which attracts one of the locals. He complains about the soldiers being up there and Eller ends up killing him. The dead man's friends and family arrive and a hostile begins shooting. The Americans return fine and eventually the sniper is killed. Afterwards they see that all of the civilians are dead. In present day Terry starts convulsing. Andy tells Jason that Debbie's parents left town. Andy thinks something's fishy and wants Clemmons to get him a search warrant for the area near the abandoned car. Jessica arrives and Glamours Andy, telling him that Debbie's case is closed. Eric tells Pam he thinks their search for Russell is a suicide mission. She wants to help, but he thinks it's too dangerous. He says he needs to release her, not because he doesn't care, but because she's his only progeny and he needs her to live after he's gone to keep the bloodline going. She says she understands and he released her. She cries and he comforts her. Andy and Jason get into a limo with Clemmons and several attractive young ladies. The guys are blindfolded. Bill and Jessica rummage through Bill's house for electronic bugs. Jessica notices something is wrong and asks Bill if he's still the king. He says he is. She wonders if he's going to see Sookie, saying she's not doing well. Salome and Roman sit with Nora, who drops to her knees and says she accepts her fate. Initially she says she doesn't care what happens to Eric and Bill, but when Roman offers her the chance to order their staking via his app, she is suddenly willing to give up a name. Nora promises that if she tells them the "true infidel" Eric and Bill will not be harmed. Salome whispers "tell me" and Nora falls into her arms. The girls take Clemmons, Andy and Jason through some magical portal in the middle of a field still blindfolded. Inside is fantasyland of sexual desires. A woman calls Jason over and he leaves. Andy runs into Morella, the faerie what he thought was a dream. They kiss and leave for more privacy. A drunken Sookie gets a call from Lafayette making sure she's okay after seeing her car. He seems legitimately concerned. There is a knock on the door. It's Alcide, who tells her about the conversation he had with Debbie's parents. She apologizes for putting him in the middle of the situation and offers him a drink. Terry and Patrick find Eller's underground hangout. As they look at his disturbing artwork he appears from behind with a shotgun. Sam finds Suzanne and Emory dead. Pam brings Tara a willing human to feed off of. Tara doesn't want to do it but Pam commands her and then teachers how to do it without killing her. Roman pulls out a special weapon and walks through the Authority chancellors speaking of Judas. Guards walk in with an open laptop. Roman says "It is as Nora said, there is another traitor." Roman stops at Chancellor Drew and shows him an incriminating video. Roman stakes him, then warns the rest they are to fall in line. Sookie and Alcide keep drinking. They start to fool around and we see Bill and Eric outside her window. Bill thinks Sookie will be useful in finding Russell. The faerie Jason's with reads his mind. He runs into his cousin Hadley, who has no idea Sookie is still alive. She tells him they are in a faerie safe house and they need to get Sookie to safety. She makes reference to Jason's parents being killed by vampires and another faerie pushes Hadley away. When Jason tries to follow her, he's stopped by others. Andy tries to help and both men are thrown out of the safe house. They land on their backs in the field and two faeries shoot light into their heads as the episode ends.

He tells them about her falling off the wagon and cheating on him. Since they found her car a quarter mile from her place, Andy asks Sookie if she knows anything about what happened to Debbie. Sookie tells him she was a V addict, but doesn't tell him anything else. After Andy leaves Lafayette tells Sookie he's scared they're going to get busted. Holly apologizes to Andy for her kids putting the picture on the internet. He isn't all that upset and it seems like their relationship could be getting more serious. Jason and the teacher have sex. She loved it but he seems disturbed and tells her she was right about their initial first encounter being a mistake. He gets his pants and leaves quickly. She tells him he smells amazing, but he runs away in fear after seeing her fangs. Jessica gives chase and finds his car next to a field. She walks into the field and yells out that she can still smell him, "everywhere." Hoyt comes into Fantasia. This causes Pam to flashback to asking Eric to make him a vampire. She tells him that women like her die alone when they get older. He tells her about the enormous commitment that goes along with being a maker. While he gets his clothes on she slashes her wrists, basically forcing him into making her or watching her die. Salome meets with Eric. She talks about Nora and Godric, saying she mentored Nora. He says he's realized he has a hole that he's been trying to fill with sex and asks her to leave. She says she wants to be his friend and offers to sit and talk it out. Arlene goes into the walk-in and Tara knocks her down. Lafayette tries to give her some True Blood but it doesn't go well. Alcide drops by Merlotte's and tells Sookie about Debbie. He's angry when she blows him off, realizing something is happening. Tara comes out of the walk-in and when Sookie tries to pretend she doesn't know what's happening, Tara calls her on it right in front of Alcide. Tara says she's furious with everybody and takes off. Eric and Bill realize that Salome wants something from them. Salome tells Roman that neither of the guys are Sanguinista. She thinks they can trust them. He tells her about Nora confessing to being Sanguinista. She wonders if he should change course, but he is sure that mainstreaming is working. Lafayette snaps at Arlene when she asks if the gumbo he is making is ready. He pours bleach into the pot, then looks into the mirror and sees that he is the witch. He snaps out of it and dumps the soup out. Sookie tells Alcide what happened with Debbie. He's furious and leaves without telling her what he's planning to do. Tara breaks into a tanning salon. Authority Always Wins
Opens with Tara at Sookie's throat....
more
Opens with Tara at Sookie's throat. Sookie screams for Lafayette, who is quickly tossed aside by Tara, his cousin. Tara then bites Sookie in the neck and Pam (Tara's "maker") finally steps in and commands Tara not to bite them and then tells her to stay in Sookie's house. Pam heals Sookie's neck with her blood and then leaves. Tara is inside Sookie's kitchen and begins to tear it apart. Sookie tells Lafayette to grab her. Unsure how, she mentions there is True Blood in the cupboard. He walks slowly to retrieve it, and sets it in front of her. Sookie tells Tara she's got to eat, but in a flash Tara throws Lafayette down to the ground and pops out her fangs. He calls for Sookie, and Tara starts to hit herself in the head- knowing something isn't right. In vampire speed, she leaves the kitchen and runs upstairs, where she begins to destroy more property. Bill, Eric and Nora meet with an Authority representative who takes them into an unknown underground facility. Once they are processed, each is locked into separate cells. The pack finishes feeding on Marcus. They aren't thrilled Alcide won't obey the laws of the pack and feed on the former pack master. Alcide says he has no interest in being the new pack master. Terry is acting strangely. At one point, a sleeping Arlene wakes up to see Terry standing at the edge of the bed and having what appears to be a sleepwalking nightmare where he relives one of his tours. Arlene reaches for him, but he doesn't wake up. Instead, he grabs her roughly by one wrist. She uses her free hand to snap him out of it with a slap. He mumbles something about being tired and crawls into bed beside her without acknowledging what happened. Sookie and Lafayette are trying to get Tara to drink True Blood, but it isn't going well. She jumps on top of Lafayette, then runs upstairs and starts running around. Pam returns to Fangtasia, where Ginger asks where she has been, and complains she had to open alone. Pam is concerned about whether Eric has returned or called- and finds out he has not. While applying her lipstick, she then has a flashback to San Francisco 1905. In her memory, she is sitting in a bar of a brothel -- her brothel. One of her girls walks up and Pam gives her a bump of cocaine. After asking where another girl is, she walks upstairs to find the woman she's looking for lying on her bed nude, dead and bloody. As the flashback ends, Pam lifts her cell phone to call Eric. Receiving no answer, she leaves a voicemail message. Nora, Bill and Eric are in holding cells. They are asked about Nora, and after the guys lie about her helping them painful UV lights are turned on, burning their skin. Luna brings Sam back to her place. Martha shows up and Luna basically tells her to get lost. Martha tells her that eventually Emma will become a wolf and need a pack, but Luna isn't so sure. Martha apologizes to Sam for his injuries. After Martha leaves Luna and Sam get in a fight and he leaves. With the sun due to rise soon, Sookie and Lafayette trick Tara into feeding on Lafayette and while she's distracted, they are able to get her secured with silver and into Eric's basement vampire cubby. Andy talks to Jason about relationships as they approach an abandoned car which turns out to be Debbie's. Andy finds some V in the car. After thinking about putting it in his pocket, he gives it to Jason. Sookie shops for something to help her keep Tara secure. She looks at an anti-vampire mist. In the kitchen at Merlotte's, Terry has yet another flashback and accidentally shoves Arlene while still in a daze. She thinks it has to do with Patrick and he storms off. Sookie comes home and telepathically hears Lafayette thoughts about staking Tara, and rushes down into the cubby to find him on the verge of doing the deed. She reminds him that Jessica was strange when first turned and convinces him that Tara will be able to find some kind of life as the person she used to be. Jason watches a TV interview of Newlin talking about his full-circle conversion about vampires. Andy makes the speeding ticket for the judge's son go away. A kid walks into the station and punches Jason in the face. He says that Jason slept with his mother and now his parents are getting a divorce. Back in 1905, a horse-drawn carriage rolls by at night. But we see Pam walking alone down a street and a mugger begins to follow her. As he holds a knife to her face/throat and she cries out, Eric swoops in at vampire speed and slices his neck. As he gingerly licks the blood off of his fingers, he notices that Pam is not afraid of him. He asks her why that is the case. Pam replies that she has seen plenty of dead bodies. Eric is smitten with her, commenting on her lovely dress and approaches her somewhat apologetically to give her some money for the mess he made. She simply says "Thank you, Mister", before he speeds away. In the present day, Pam awakens in her coffin. Bill and Eric are interrogated separately by Authority members; Bill's interrogator is Dieter Braun and Eric is interrogated by Salomé. Dieter talks to Bill about the Original Testament (a.k.a. Vampire Bible- the sacred text of the Vampire religion and chronicles the creation of the universe, and all life in it) and the story of Lilith, known as the Progenitor, who was created by God in His image prior to Adam and Eve, who were essentially her food. Bill says he does not believe in the literal interpretation of the text. He has silver-infused fluid intravenously injected into his blood, burning him from within. Eric is asked about Nora's involvement. He doesn't rat her out and is tortured with the same IV mix. The questioners attempts to play Bill and Eric off of one another, saying the other has been freed after cooperating. It doesn't work. Newlin drops by Jessica's place and offers $10,000 for her to give him Jason. She gets him up to $20,000 before saying she doesn't sell her friends and telling him to get lost. She reminds Newlin that Bill, her maker, is the King, and Newlin laughingly replies that won't be the case for much longer. Arlene pays Patrick a visit and tells him about Terry's nightmares. She asks if something happened that might have stuck with him. He says no. Terry stops by and Arlene leaves. After she leaves Terry tells Patrick that the fire-starting private isn't dead, just "off the grid." Terry knows where he is and the two agree to pay him a visit. At Maxine's house Hoyt is under the sink fixing it. Jason shows up and tries to speak to Hoyt, but Hoyt still won't talk to him. Jason says that instead of living with his mom, Hoyt can stay at his house, and Jason offers to stay at Sookie's. Hoyt doesn't want any part of Jason's friendship anymore and kicks him out. On the way out, Maxine pretends to be mad at Jason, but at the door, she whispers a thank you for splitting up Hoyt and Jessica and tells Jason she will even make him a pie. Luna hears noises in Emma's room. She opens the door and finds she's turned into a wolf pup. Night falls and Tara emerges from her cubby and inches closer to Lafayette and Sookie. When Sookie says, "Tara", Tara looks at her and says "I will never forgive either of you." She bolts from the front door and is sprayed with the silver liquid before disappearing into the night. Eric and Bill are led into a room with the Authority. Roman enters from a side door. Before speaking to them, he holds a type of communion with blood that he takes from his own wrist to symbolize that of Lilith's. One by one, he drops a bit blood into the mouths of each member. After the ceremony, Roman turns to Bill and Eric, stating he hates to meet under these circumstances. Nora is pulled out of the room, and Eric shows he wants to help her, yet he is bound and cannot. She yells out "I am innocent", before disappearing. Roman sits and starts to discuss of the errors they have made: The launcher used on main street, the fight breaking out between vampires and humans during the Festival of Tolerance. He tells them that they are the Authority, just as Nan was. He then tells them they will see the True Death. Roman also asks about the Sanguinista movement. Bill says he knows nothing about it, and Eric says he tries to stay out of politics. The Authority has a meeting before them, and after a short debate they conclude that Bill and Eric should meet the True Death. Roman says that mainstreaming is the only way to live, that they must co-exist with humans. Salome opens a briefcase and pulls out a stake for Roman. Bill speaks up when asked if they have any final words. He says he will offer up an exchange, "Our lives in return for Russell Edgington." Roman was told by Nan that Russell was dead but Bill assured him that Eric and he put him in the ground but did not kill him. Eric states that Russell has broken free. Whether they live or die, the Authority will find out soon enough. Bill says that Russell will obliterate the Authority's cause. Roman, in vampire speed stands behind Bill with a stake, angry that he allowed the happenings with Russell. Eric yells out, "quiet!", and that he was the one who did it. Roman is mad that Bill, a king, allowed it. Roman pulls back and says he cannot go on personal desires. Bill states that Russell will stop at nothing to kill Eric and Bill, and when he does, Roman will be there to put an end to him as they should have. If Bill and Eric fail in their mission, Russell will make them meet the True Death anyway. Roman considers this. Elsewhere, a single camera shot follows a trail of dead and dismembered bodies... and at the end is Russell, still weakened and dessicated from his imprisonment in cement, lying in a bed. His flesh is drawn and cracked, but his eyes open as he licks fresh blood from his lips, healing.
